ravens: perfection

bengals: i would go with black pants with the white jersey and use the current helmet

browns: i would go with white pants with the brown jersey. also, i would use the current block letter wordmark. like the jersey upgrades though

steelers: sorry, like what they have now better

bears: perfection

lions: perfection

ravens: Go back to the helmet they have now, reverse the Alt and Home and you have a winner

bengals: Like what you have but the sleeves seem dull, also agreeing with Icecap, go back to their original bengal stripe helmets, they are the most unique helmets they have

browns: I like it

steelers: I like what you have there except the Alt. Also i'd just use one side for the logo, I wouldn't mess with tradition

bears: See above with the steelers helmet. Don't mess with tradition

lions: Add more Black to the uniform, that's what I like about them right now. Also :cursing: Please lose the wordmark, because you know nothing says Lions with a little cursive wordmark, the wordmark they have now works for them.

If I'm seeing the wordmark the right way, it's intended to look like the Ford logo, right?

it does, but it still doesn't look right, now if you wanted to call them the Ford Lions of Detroit, than maybe, but right now, i'd stick with the current wordmark

I actually saw some Bears replicas close to this one when I was in high school, oddly enough. Then again, I also had a friend who was the proud owner of a Rams jersey with numbers on the shoulders. That isn't weird until I mention this was during the mid 90s, when you realise the numbers should be inside the ram horns  and does anyone else remembers seeing Bears jerseys (mainly Nike Rashaan Salaam ones) with Impact numbers?

Nike also used Impact to approximate the Eagles' numbers when they first went to the midnight green uniforms. Wasn't even close.

These unis:

RAVENS: Prefer the present logo, like the purple pants, like the striped socks... but please don't encourage Ray-Ray to put on the all-blacks again.

BENGALS: I miss the tiger stripes. Like the orange pants.

BROWNS: Well done. Nothing to add.

STEELERS: Wouldn't change what they've got now.

BEARS: Don't like the orange alts, but I can live with it. I'd rather see the old "C" on the helmet.

LIONS: I get the wordmark, but it's a little dainty for NFL. I like the blue pants coming black. I like black accents staying away.

"Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... In old New York..."

In order for the Mets' run of 12 losses in 17 games to mean something, the Phillies still had to win 13 of 17.

Ravens: I'd go w/ black away pants.

Bengals: Needs more tiger stripes, If this were an expansion team it would be great. But these are the long established Bengals and I just can't see them without a lot of tiger stripes. Even though it looks bad.

Browns: Perfect

Steelers: Ditch the logo on the front, otherwise perfect.

Bears: Leave the wishbone C as is. But this one is still great. Even the unthinkable orange alt.

Lions: And people think that Brewers have problems with tying in the ownership with the team. ^_^ My only suggestion would be to keep the current wordmark. Not because of the Ford tie-in just because I don't think it works.

Great job :notworthy:

The Lions should use the Thanks Giving throwbacks full time with just the lions logo on the helmet

Ravens: Wouldn't have changed anything

Bengals: Orange is ugly, use black as primary

Browns: Perfection

Steelers: Wouldn't have changed anything

Bears: wouldn't have changed anything

Lions: Don't like the dainty wordmark

Wow awsome work :notworthy: . Are you planning to do the whole NFL? If you are I will be looking forward to this projects completion. I like the fact you are adding more color to the jerseys. I would have made one of the Browns jerseys orange, but what the hell do I know. Keep up the geart work!

bengals: i would go with black pants with the white jersey and use the current helmet

I don't really care for Cincy's 'varicose pumpkin' helemts, but I think that might be the right direction to go here.

browns: i would go with white pants with the brown jersey. also, i would use the current block letter wordmark. like the jersey upgrades though

I always think of the Browns colors as being Brown & Orange, which is why I went in that direction.

ravens: Go back to the helmet they have now, reverse the Alt and Home and you have a winner

I've never really liked the current Ravens helmet, but I think in this particular case it might work better, if I can figure a way of modifying the B-Head to not look dumb. And are you really saying that the Ravens should go all-black as their regular home?

bengals: Like what you have but the sleeves seem dull, also agreeing with Icecap, go back to their original bengal stripe helmets, they are the most unique helmets they have

The trouble with the sleeves is that if you add too much, you get veyr close to their current set, which is plop. I think I might try tiger-stripe cuffs in a rework, but that's a way aways.

steelers: I like what you have there except the Alt. Also i'd just use one side for the logo, I wouldn't mess with tradition

bears: See above with the steelers helmet. Don't mess with tradition

I've always felt tradition was over-rated. The Steelers Alt, is because I'd made 3 sets for the other teams and needed something. I'm open to suggestions for a Steelers 3rd though.

lions: Add more Black to the uniform, that's what I like about them right now. Also  Please lose the wordmark, because you know nothing says Lions with a little cursive wordmark, the wordmark they have now works for them.

I'm not adding black, my entire point was to remove the unnecessary black they added in the first place, I felt two-tone blue works well here. The Ford inspired wordmark is tongue in cheek, but I thought it worked almost as well as the current strip, and , hey, they're the Lions, no danger of setting the world aflame.

RAVENS: Prefer the present logo, like the purple pants, like the striped socks... but please don't encourage Ray-Ray to put on the all-blacks again.

I'm in a quandary here, Idon't like their present logo, but I can't draw well-enough to replace it with something that still fits in their overall identity package, a limitation when you merely 'tweak' rather than fully redesign a uniform.

BENGALS: I miss the tiger stripes. Like the orange pants.

The tiger stripes are still there, just not so dominant.

STEELERS: Wouldn't change what they've got now.

I would, mainly to lose the right chest logo.

BEARS: Don't like the orange alts, but I can live with it. I'd rather see the old "C" on the helmet.

That 'C' always says Cincinatti Reds to me, hence the adronment.

LIONS: I get the wordmark, but it's a little dainty for NFL. I like the blue pants coming black. I like black accents staying away.

well 2/3 ain't bad.

Ravens: I'd go w/ black away pants.

I guess I feel they need a lot of purple as it's became their signature color, perhaps more so than even the Vikings.

Bengals: Needs more tiger stripes, If this were an expansion team it would be great. But these are the long established Bengals and I just can't see them without a lot of tiger stripes. Even though it looks bad.

That last sentence explains why I changed it the way I did.

Are you planning to do the whole NFL?

Yes, I am eventually, though it might take a while, as I'm on no set schedule.

In fact here's the next one in line, the Green Bay Packers

nfcnorth_greenbay.gif

That's supposed to be a metallic gold, as was considered in '94

Next: Minnesota Vikings (still figuring out the shoulder striping)

Then: Buffalo Bills

Ravens: Awesome. I like the black pants and the flying raven.

Bengals: Use the black as a primary home jersey. I like the stripes on the helmet they have now. I also like what you did with the stripe on the side.

Browns: Perfect

Steelers: Even more perfect. Love the gold alternate

Bears: Really like what you did with the helmet. That logo is more intimidating. I like the jerseys too.

Lions: Liked how you took out most of the black.

Packers: It's not easy to mess with Green Bay, but you did a good job. The green pants are awesome.

Overall: Great job

When it came to the Bengals, I could not decide which to be the home and the alt, so right now they're interchangeable.

As for the Lions, I think I took out all of the black, as I went with Navy in places where a darker color was needed.

And I'm glad you like my Packers, as you tend to get into a lot of hassle if you mess with the sacred cows of Lambeau

Wow you did an amazing job with thsoe Pack unis. I am one of the fans who would hate it if anything is really changed. I still dont want anythign changed, but that would be a superb change is there had to be one.

Coming from a Pack fan, that is high praise indeed. I tend to feel the same way about the really good Redskins concepts I see on this board (which, are pretty few.)

Oh, and as a Packers fan, you might want to look away now, as the Vikes are coming in:

nfcnorth_minnesota.gif

The striping is meant to be the UCLA-style shoulder insert the Vikes currently wear on the road, but I can not get it to work right in a raster template, and I don't have illustrator.

Next: Buffalo Bills (Yay! I made it to the AFC East!)

Then: Miami Dolphins
