The page to post and discuss all of the new CHL logos and uniforms that have been/will be introduced.

I thought it would be better to have 1 topic (similar to the NHL third jersey topic) rather then the whole page being clogged up with CHL related news.

Unveilings thus far:
London Knights:

Halifax Mooseheads:

Why is everyone copying the Wild's 3rd jersey design?

Well technically its their home jersey. And for the reason, probably because its one of the best looking Edge jerseys in the NHL.

I wish the Wild would make their away jersey like the white Mooseheads one in the pic.

Hugeee downgrade for the Knights, who had one of the best logos in the CHL.

Fans thought so too naming it the best OHL logo.

I like the London Knights new logo. It's nowhere near being bad at all. It could have been better though. In the new logo, if the neck armor had the same curvy shape like the old one, and if the overall logo had the same general silhouette, it would help the fans recognize the team better. However, I don't think a modification to the new helmet would be any good because at least now it actually looks like a Knight's helmet. The old one looked more like a motorcycle helmet or belonged to a spaceman far from here. Plus, the L-shaped thing that swerved from the face front to the back of the head is now gone, which is a good thing because I can't figure out what it's supposed to be. Come to think of it, the changes are rather positive.

The Mooseheads burned a terrific oppurtunity to update the Moose on their crest. I don't care how many years you're team has been around, sketches do not belong on hockey jerseys. Even the Habs updated their CH logo through the years so there's no excuse. Concerning their new jerseys, they copied the Wild and Remparts so I can't say anything. All I could do is label them as copycats.

I wish I could find the thread but I said this 2 years ago when a guy at the Peterborough Petes pro shop told me the leagues plan for the Edge. Not only was his prediction correct, but after this season ended, all current Petes jerseys went on sale. I hope that all changes that are made throughout the league are for the better and not a step backwards (like what the Spitfires did).

This might be a good time to get a Kingston Frontenacs jersey that I've wanted since I was 11.

I found a few game photos with that logo, so I assume they had those just before they moved into their new arena the past December... kinda like the Spitfires I guess...

Not trying to hijack the thread, but just want to give the CCSLC's biggest R.M. Rage/CHL fan some news...even if LD doesn't know which CHL is which.

Uh oh.

Quote

Everett, WA - Everett Silvertips Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Tuesday that the new NHL-style Reebok Edge jerseys will be unveiled at Silvertips.com on September 9th in a national launch in conjunction with the rest of the Western Hockey League and Canadian Hockey Leagues.

So apparently 9/9 is the day we will see all the new CHL jerseys (although I'm sure there will be some leaks before then.)
