But were you as excited as Tim Duncan...

I just wish Lebron had a "right" jersey. It could have been the his original Cavs one, which really didn't need much updating at all to still be a perfectly good design. It then could have been the now former set, but that was ruined by all the alts and because the pinnacle of his time there was reached while wearing a black t shirt. I hate to say it, but with all the shuffling around in Cleveland, his Miami uniform seems "right" to me, because at least it was consistent.

In 2030, when the University of Oregon EliteSpeeds (presented by Nike) go head to head with the BangBus.com White Storm in a season opening cupcake match to warm up for their epic showdown with the #11 Texas AT&T Great Rates, a Visa presented, PPV, throwdown showdown, exclusively on the Clorox Squeaky Clean Sports Network (CSCSN for short) that has heavy implications in the NASDAQ Payoff Playoff Market Challenge. The EliteSpeeds had a heartbreaking season, where they finished undefeated, but due to some awful investments in Chinese fabric, were penalized 200 Meritocracy Points, and fell out of the rankings entirely. Now they come back with a veteran roster, including the Nissan Heisman frontrunner, Johnson & Johnson IV, headlined by coach Willie Target, still seeking his first title as CEO of the EliteSpeeds. The U is still not back.

I like the idea, but the execution is terrible. Also, to whoever thinks those things are worth $200, hahahahahahahahaha. The knock-off crap at Walmart looks just the same for 1/10th the price.

    It couldn't have been this?

I'll say this. If the teams uniform changed at all then I understand the big buildup/wait for the jersey reveal. HOWEVER, if you wait all damn summer to show off your "new" state of the art uniform with no changes..then that is absolute B.S. Cleveland, Phoenix, Spurs, Clippers (maybe) and Minnesota have a genuine excuse.

Personally I loved this CLE set, but maybe I'm in the minority on this one:

I'd like to see these jerseys actually worn by players and in different lighting. Like the Cavs for example, it's very MEH for me, but I liked the leaked image of the wine set. I wish we could get better action picks, kinda like what SAC did with theirs.

"Excited" is not a word commonly associated with the Spurs brand

However, pair these with white pants (and keep these pants for the white jersey and maybe an alternate yellow one hmm...) and you've also got a winner.

The addition of the vertical pants stripes down the legs really cluttered that set up. I liked the 1972-87 version much better. It's been said here many, many times, but for the sake of any newcomer who may be reading this, the Reds looked their best 1969-71, and it's a shame they didn't keep it forever, especially during their heydey of the 1970s.

That's not bad, but I won't lie -- I miss the cursive set. Curses be damned! Bring 'em back!

As a massive clippers fan this really excites me. I hope they do change up the jerseys and if it looks similar to these I would not be disappointed.

'It was recently announced that the Oakland Swingin' A's will take the field as the Oakland Gnomes on Sunday home games next year. The brand is based on the wooden paintings of garden gnomes that can be found on the bases of telephone poles around Oakland, CA. Uniforms have yet to be revealed.'

This thread differs from my former one as i am implementing Nikes 4 uniforms per team concept and i am remaking all my former concept uniforms not just copy and pasting them. there may be expansion teams or revamped identities but that will be less common than my former project. As always C&C is greatly appreciated as it helps me know what i did good and what i can improve. Indiana Pacers I loved the word mark of the new uniforms, but just the execution/balance of the jersey just felt so off. I created more simple and classic sides/trim to complement the wordmark. also featured is a unique trim on the shorts Association Icon Athletes Mindset Community Inspired Brooklyn Nets Took my previous concept and made tweaks to the (what was then called) home and away jerseys and created two completely new uniforms Association Icon Athletes Mindset Community - Took the Brooklyn Dodgers old word mark to show respect to the history of Brooklyn sports. also featured is a "42" on the waistband out of respect for Jackie Robinson Detroit Pistons. In retrospect, my old pistons concept looked very amateur. However, i kept some elements of them (two tone) i liked to create a unique set that also maintains that Detroit Pistons feel Association Icon Athletes Community Thank you very much for viewing. let me know what you think and would like next.

The good: I like the approach to color. I don’t think they nailed the execution, but using the blue as a tonal complement to wine is unique and interesting. I do wish the white uniform had a little more blue. The bad: I think the sharp design evokes a low-level college template rather than an upper/tier professional team. It doesn’t look all that bad, but it feels trendy at best. The lettering, as we’ve discussed as nauseum, is not composed well and to me, sorely lacks the personality of downtown Cleveland. The blue trim is not needed on the Cleveland lettering. It adds almost no contrast. The numbers needed heavier trim if blue on wine was going to be a primary colorway. Overall, it is a more exciting, interesting set. The previous one was conservative to the point of being bland, so while there weren’t many flaws you could point to, there really wasn’t much of anything else to point to, either. It’s six or a half-dozen between old and new for me. It just depends on your taste.

I'm sorry, and I know you spent some time on these, but they are pretty rough and not great. It's a mixture of sloppiness, blatantly putting logos and wordmarks on everything, and overall just bad designs for a football uniform. What I would suggest is getting more comfortable with MS Paint, which is what I assume you're using, and taking notes on real life uniforms and applying that to your designs.

I felt stuck when I got to Indiana. Their last Adidas look was admittedly boring and I hit a wall again and then I came up with what you see below: I went with the 90-96 uniforms as the base for these. I thought that they were unique and then I extended the design to the sleeves to give them more of a feel of uniqueness. I also slanted the wordmark and the numbers to match the style of the uniform. C&C welcome!

Black should never be used on a Clippers uniform again. This blue is so, so much better. The Black doesn't fit WHATSOEVER.

I’m not saying it’s a bad look, but they’ve very clearly set out to be “the gold team” over the past few years. Minimizing it on the road uniform wouldn’t make any sense when the goal is to build that equity. There’s plenty of balance when you consider the blue numerals and pants.

Wow, that was probably the worst option for that era they could've gone with.

Everyone is jumping aboard the whole "basketball thing in football thing XDDD" train, but does anyone else think it's really bizarre that a public university's football team is wearing a giant brand logo on their practice helmets? Like is that not just a tad off for anyone else? I get that major universities make a big deal of their branding and apparel deals, but on the uniforms themselves generally the actual brand logo is not front and center. I mean there is arguable no more important spot in a uniform than the centerpiece of the helmet, and those helmets have a jumpman logo. I know it's only a practice uniform, but that just makes it worse i think. Even their practices are brought to you by Jumpman. I know saying that college football is a giant corporate entity isn't exactly a unique position, but I can't recall ever seeing quite this level of pure corporatism in amateur athletics, where the primary focal point of a practice uniform is a giant apparel brand. This is bothering me maybe more than it should.

Pacers made a mistake. Could have used Hickory as a community uniform and had Reggie Miller era uniforms as throwbacks.
