    NFL 2018 changes

Not sure if this should go here, but I found this picture too awesome not to share. I love the color balance of the league as a whole at this time (1961).

    Universal Maxims of Uniform Design

Responding in three separate posts doesn't make your points more valid FYI. I think you two should just agree to disagree, you obviously perceive striping differently.

rsaline's Baseball Uniform Template - PSD

This is awesome. You got me to download my free trial of PS to try and convert this to svg. I'll see what I can do. Amazing work.

NCAA Basketball Uniform Concepts (Done in Apps)

I think you should try to step out of the box a little bit more on some of these. All of the SEC so far has been exactly what teams are already wearing with very little modifications. If you are going through the effort of creating a concept, why not come up with something original instead of recreating something that people have already seen. I think that if you stepped a little more out of your comfort zone and put your own twist on some of these, you would get more feedback and, in turn, it will help you grow as a designer.

Here's an explanation of the monstrosities from the designer himself.

RGiss NBA Concepts - Dallas Mavericks

Love the idea, and it looks great for the most part. Version 3 is definitely the best, the other versions seem a bit over-the-top. My only critiques are: -Flip the colors on the wordmark, and number. They should be solid white. -Remove the number from the shorts, it's unnecessary. -Make the collar solid white. The collar you used doesn't mesh well with the design.
  7. In the latest episode of 99% Invisible, Tom Geismar is interviewed. He had some interesting insights into his design process and how some of the logos he designed were created. Check it out here.

I love the color scheme The striping is good, and balances the colors nicely. Great job.

American Volleyball Associaton - Los Angeles

I also agree with adding another color to the league logo and also adding some blue to the red clash uniform. Can't wait to see the rest, this is really polished. Well done.

Atlanta Hawks concept + NIKExNBA template

My only suggestion would be to have Atlanta on the chest of the away jersey. I actually like the name under the number, it would be too cramped with the new shoulder cut of the jersey if it was above the number. Great job.

Alaska Anchorage Seawolves Concept: Sun Added 1/17/18

This latest version looks amazing. The yellow and white were bleeding too much together in the past versions. Great job. I don't actually mind the sun's placement FWIW,
  12. This idea has been brewing in my head for a while now. My inspiration for this project is some concepts that @wyopokes2 did back in the day. He used an interactive uniform picker that I thought was a great idea. So I tried my hand at making a website and putting my concepts on there so that people can mix and match uniforms as they please. I would appreciate any C&C for the uniforms and also the website as I am not savvy at all with creating a website. Thank you. 14. Here's my favorite. A simple design that some teams add a little bit of flavor to with sublimation. If the team has a good color scheme this template looks great.

Here's a little break between the P5 and the G5. This is by far my favorite group of concepts. All the teams have great identities and should have classic looks in my opinion. Ivy League Brown Columbia Cornell Dartmouth Harvard Penn Princeton Yale

@Cardsblues02 @Danny the Sheeb Thanks for the input. I decided to go with pant striping, but instead of the sleeve striping I went with the helmet stripe. I like to match the helmet and pant stripe, I feel like it gives a good balance.

Thanks for all the kind words. I plan on finishing the G5 as well. FBS Independent Army Incorporated their old striping onto the sleeves. BYU Royal blue > navy. Notre Dame Tried to make the pants seem "golden" as well as the number trim. Green alternate features more gold. UMass Nothing crazy here either. Font to match their logo as well as striping to match the logo as well.

Time to finish off the P5. Pac-12 North California Brought back their past look. Oregon Tried to keep things simple. Let the colors and combinations shine. Oregon State Once again shout-out to @mattwillcox for this design. Stanford Some extra striping added. Washington No more black. New striping pattern used. Washington State Updated their past look. Got rid of the double gray.

Once again, thanks for all the feedback. Pac-12 South Arizona Used a mixture of eras and tried to not make things too busy. Arizona State Tried to mimic the pitchfork with the helmet and shoulders. Brought back Sparky. Colorado Brought back the stripes. Kept a lot of options. UCLA Had a tough time with this. Went with Clarendon and traditional stripes. I might go back to this one later. USC New pant stripe that utilizes their official Trojan pattern. Utah Brought back the mountains, their current look is too cluttered. Updated their logo to give it a western feel, and reflected that unto the numbers as well.

Thanks for all the feedback! I really appreciate it. Big 10 West Illinois Nothing too much changed here, just some touch ups. Iowa Based the striping off of their old basketball uniforms. Included some more options for helmets, pants, and jerseys. As much as I hate to admit it, a blackout at Kinnick would be awesome. Minnesota I based this striping pattern off of the block M. I touched up the number font a little bit to make it less goofy looking. I have to admit, this is one of my favorites, although I might be a little bit biased. Nebraska I ditched their boring outdated helmet for a new helmet with their logo on it. I eliminated the striping from their N logo. I tried to match a number font to their logo. Northwestern I had a bit of trouble balancing the colors in this one. I focused on black more because I think that they can make it look good. I moved the striped from the chest because I think that gimmick has run its course for them. Included some stars from the Chicago flag since they want to be considered "Chicago's team". Purdue Brought back the traditional striping. Moved the cowcatchers to the sleeves. Wisconsin Oh boy, I expect to catch a lot of heat for this one. I ditched black entirely, no black facemask, no black in the logo. I ditched their current logo, I think a more traditional W in their iconic font is a better representation of the school and its fan base. I revived the infamous Scrabble game uniforms from 2012. I feel like the shoulder yoke is an under-utilized element and Wisconsin could use it and own it.

Big Ten East Indiana I tried to mimic their basketball piping. Maryland Did a blend of eras. I liked their old turtleshell pattern. Included a lot of options since they're Under Armour's flagship school. Michigan State Added some shoulder stripes. Michigan Nothing to change here. Ohio State Throwback striping. Added more black. Penn State Throwback block numbers. Pant stripe added. Rutgers I like their other R logo better. Incorporated some sword patterns without going too crazy like their past uniforms.

@Magic Dynasty Thanks for the response. I wanted to keep Texas traditional, but I can see why you'd want orange helmets and pants. I don't mind West Virginia's font in a vacuum, but the past font matches up with the flying WV so much better IMO. @Cardsblues02 Thanks for the kind words. The Frogs were my personal favorite of this batch. @BJ Sands That means a lot to me. A little can go a long way, but in the age of chrome and BFBS, it seems to get lost in the noise. Thank you for your comments. @itsmb8 I haven't heard of that, but since you seem to be in the loop I will take your word for it. However, I would totally disagree with that decision if it were to happen. Their current look is fine, getting rid of yellow would neuter their identity. @Danny the Sheeb I appreciate you always giving me feedback, it means a lot to me. For the Duke striping, it would probably be hard to see from the press box, but Washington had a similar look (with even thinner stripes) and I don't think it looked too bad. For Virginia's numbers, I am going to have to disagree with you because I matched the number and its outlines with the V in the logo. For Kansas my logic was that their logo and number font is already so thin, that an outline would make them look even smaller. Plus I'm a sucker for single colored numbers Virginia Tech, in my eyes, has always had a very futuristic feel to them. I went with a modern cut to their striping as a nod to their past and relationship with futuristic and unique designs. Example 1 Example 2 (one of my favorite all time uniforms) Example 3 Example 4 I am a fan of the tapering stripes because it is unique, and I feel like it plays of their logos and font well. I like the logo I used because their current logo is just so bland, the bird head in a cyclone looks a lot better (at least to me). TCU's red is just meant to give a little bit more flair to their helmets. I always loved the combination of red, black, and purple, but I feel like it doesn't suit TCU too well. So I relegated it to the two bars on the facemask. I recognize that the metallic logo for the Longhorns is not for everybody, in fact I originally had a metallic and non-metallic option on the website. However, I think the metallic logo looks amazing when the light hits it right. To each their own I guess. In regards to the adidas template, it's just the latest adidas template I have which is good I guess since their current template is complete garbage.
