    Thrift Store Gems 2018

The saga of the incorrect Avs yeti patch. It actually first appeared on the Starter retail authentic jerseys in the Avs first year in 1995-96. Starter made their retail authentic jerseys overseas, while their gamers were made in Berlin, WI, so think of their retail authentic jerseys as the original Indo-Edges. Starter corrected the error the following season on their retail authentic jerseys, and their replicas always had the correct design, however for whatever reason, CCM / Koho replicas always used the incorrect design, and never corrected it. They made Avs replicas from the late 90s - 2007, so there is a very large population of Avs replicas with the wrong yeti design.

    Los Angeles Rams Brand Discussion

So, just a side note about the block font on those 2000 Rams... The replica jerseys made in 2000 already had the 2001 - current number font, so I would assume that was always the Rams plan, and that for some logistical reason they had to use a different font on the gamers in 2000. Even more, those early Rams replicas featured a different nameplate font that never appeared on gamers.

    Quirky nameplates

I wad thinking the sam thing, but went to nhluniforms.com and found they only used the bridge font 1997-98 to 1999-2000 on the black alt only. The font was straightened out from 2000-01 to 2006-07 when the black jersey was used full time.

    NHL 2017-18

Well, except for the C shoulder patch, which was comfirmed today that it's staying. Which means another Colorado themed alt is probably a safe bet.

    NHL 2017-18

I dunno... it looks the same to me.
  6. That might be reading too much into this. I don't think the Broncos or Steelers are going white at home anytime soon.

    Unused Logos and Uniforms

Weird.. those style yeti footprints were never used on any Avs game jerseys. They first appeared on the Starter retail authentics (made in El Salvador) the inaugural 1995-96 season only (Starter corrected the error the next season) and then showed up again on all ccm / KOHO replicas (late 90s - 2007).

*minus the super ridiculous "NHL Hockey WILD" shoulder patches.

Players on the "RIGHT" Team, but "WRONG" Uniform

John Elway in the Nike mono blue uni. He only wore this in the 1997 preseason.

    Super Bowl 50 Aesthetics

I think the Broncos' decision to wear white has less to do with what happened in the 70s and 80s and more to do with what happened 2 years ago, especially considering that many players that got boat raced in SB48 are playing in SB50.

    NFL Changes 2015

Two thoughts: 1. The Ravens look like a FCS team. 2. I feel a bad color rush coming on...

2015-16 NHL Uniform and Logo Changes

like this? Uh, not sure what the Minnesota North Stars (now Dallas Stars) have to do with the expansion San Jose Sharks...

    Nike NFL "Color Rush" uniforms?

    What is "color rusk"?

    1997/1998 Denver Broncos Blue Pants

The white pants with the blue jerseys were definely part of the unveiling. As a die hard Broncos fan and a life long uni nerd, I vividly remember that. The Broncos wore the blue pants at New England (oddly) and home against San Francisco during the last two weeks of the 1997 preseason.
