  1. Unfortunately for the Predators, a policy of Keep The Black Out has been illegal since 1964.
  2. I can't believe that the tournament with 13 of 16 teams in the Central and Eastern time zones can't start every single game at 7:00 PM local.

  6. Nathan Fenno: "The Chargers have filed to relocate to Los Angeles. #NFL" https://twitter.com/nathanfenno/status/684210603997528064
  7. What Floats your Boat?

ESPN Magazine and Insider for $3.79 a year, up to four years (expires 11:59 Friday night EST) A similar deal ($10 for two years) was posted on the boards a few years ago, since then ESPN has offered me annual renewals for $1. Now I just send the magazine straight to my cousins and use the Insider for the annual article or two.
  8. For what it's worth, and no matter how much James Mirtle tries to bury it, the $1,643 and $4,543 prices are for all 17 games. Obviously it means the cheapest ticket starts at $97 on the primary market, but it's the only chance Toronto fans will have at seeing NHL players win any sort of championship for a long while.
  9. Grand Rapids pro sports?

I think Van Andel Arena should just be turned into a parking lot.
  10. How about the Chicago Reinsdorf Deductabulls?
  11. I am just utterly appalled that Joe Buck had the nerve to talk about the Royals winning games four times more often than he did about the Mets winning games. That level of bias is unacceptable. And during the ALCS, he also talked about the Royals winning games twice as often as the Blue Jays. Disgusting.
