  1. Great work with thenTemple stadium designs. Have you thought of doing one for the Turner Field football conversion?

  2. Thanks. Have you checked out my other stadium concepts on these boards. I've done quite a few. DC United Minnesote Vikings Philadeljpia Athletics Philadelphia Phillies Sixers/Fliers Northwestern University Football Kansas City Chiefs Miami Dolphins
  3. I have added in the night shot and a shot Broad Street looking at the stadium from directly across the street.
  4. It looks like with the curved nature of the sides, a kind of bandshell is created, directing the noise inward. Look at the overhead. The other thing is the height of the press boxes and suites will more than likely reflect any noise back into the stadium. I would agree with that.
  5. Yes was thinking that there would be "red colored" bushes there as a barrier but I never got to it. Probably a gate or something as well.
  6. There are quite a few stadiums with the rounded upper edge and I do see the similarities but those are unintentional. Thanks. I use Autocad, AutodeskMax, and Photoshop. Keep in mind that I am an Architect and these take quite a long time to do though. But I appreciate your comment.
  7. So, it has been awhile since I posted a Stadium Concept. To be clear, I did not go to Temple (NJIT and UPenn). However I decided to strike while the iron is hot. So if you click on the images below you will see my concept for a new Temple Stadium at the SW corner of Broad and Norris on Temple's campus in north Philadelphia (just a few block north of my Philadelphia Athletics Stadium concept). The idea is a 35,000 seat stadium with opposing arched press boxes and a curved top edge seating bowl with end zone seats to the west under a scoreboard. From above it sort of does look like set of wings and a tail (not intentional). The design is a modern version of a classic seating arrangement but with more "architecture" wrapping it and holding it in place. Two things first. 1. I don't know where everyone will park. 2. I I'm not saying they need a stadium, just showing a concept. All comments are welcome.
  8. It has taken me quite a long time to get to the point where I can do these designs.......... And do them in my spare time. But they are fun and fulfilling. More to come soon too.
  9. Good call. Those seats would be 1/2 price.
  10. Thanks.
  11. Thanks. I use Autocad and Autodesk Max with alot of Photoshop.
  12. Its been awhile but here is my concept for a Soccer only stadium for the DC United in the Buzzard Point area of DC adjacent to the Anacostia River. The design is for a 24,000 seat place that had deep overhangs and lots of space to see the pitch from the concourse area. http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumext01jpg_zpsdc26ad13.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumInt05_zps30b5f50b.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumInt01_zpsc12558a8.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumext04_zpsdd9240eb.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumext03_zpsb0df94b7.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumInt06_zpsf96b181a.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumInt04_zpsc6aa1d8d.jpg http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/w487/Ambitarch/DCUnitedStadiumext02_zpsc1bff598.jpg Comment are always welcome! -South of South Street
  13. I was going for open air but with the fans covered as much as possible. And as far as the seats go..... I went with somethng that was in between the Dolphins and U of Miami. But i might go back and go more orange. Depends on time.
  14. I am thinking that the field is just below grade wth the stadium actually sitting on 15-20 ft of fill. So there would be a slight "mound" to the site that is not pictured in the renderings.
  15. I use Autodesk MAX and Photoshop.
