MLS series by Chippers. (Mutiny Added)

Really like what you have going for the Fire, but I'm not totally sold on the home kit. I know it wasn't intentional, and maybe it's just me, but the pattern you chose for that uniform looks similar to the "faultline" pattern the Quakes use. Maybe try something with the six-pointed star in the Chicago flag? Also, a general rule of thumb for most jerseys (including the current Adidas cycle) is that the back of the uniforms generally don't use sublimation, so I'd try to stay away from that. Beyond that, I really like what you did with the clash kit. Keep up the good work!

Tampa Bay Rays Rebrand added 4/3

I love what you did with the Mariners. My only critiques would be that A. from a distance, the S in the cap logo starts to look less like a S and more like two hooks jutting out, and B. the compass rose gets lost on the teal cap. Beyond that, love the new shade of teal, and the lowercase lettering is a unique touch. I also really like what you did with the Padres - the light blue/sand gives off a beach vibe, and the cartoony wordmark matches as well. My only question is what would a light blue hat look like with the home alt? All in all, though, great work on these!

Northern Football Association (AFA) - 1981

Yup, Burmy's got it - I checked with my Québécois friend and they told me the exact same thing. Also, I love the look you made for Ottawa, can't go wrong with those stripes. Gonna be looking forward to this series as it unfolds!

I like San Antonio. The name is dumb and I would've prefered to see them use the fiesta colors somewhere in there (maybe those instead of the red?), but I like it overall. Columbus is supposedly releasing their new kit next Wednesday at 2:30p Eastern. They'll stream the reveal live on their site.

I generally don't like the same sponsors for two teams, so I am glad at least one of them is changing. Kia would be fine for a sponsor. And it looks like San Antonio is finally unveiling their identity on Thursday:

    2016 MLS Jerseys

Well I guess this means that Jersey Week is a thing of the past now, huh? Love that new Timbers clash though, and the only thing I'd potentially change is the back to black, but I'd have to see what that looks like. And what's the deal with the shorts, are they black or red? So, let's see who's left. Home kits for NE, Colorado, Dallas, Philadelphia, Seattle, and Montreal, and clash kits for KC, Orlando, Houston, Columbus, Toronto, Vancouver, and NY, not including the already leaked ones for LA and NYC. Is that all of them?

I don't mind this too much. I don't like it as much as the previous two sets, but it's still okay. I would reserve my final judgement for when we see the actual kit, since this mockup doesn't show the probable "earthquake" pattern from the other kits. While we're talking Quakes, that mockup shows off the new sponsor Sutter Health. Here's what it looks like on the home kit:

    16-17 Soccer Kits

Yeah I don't think Villa's going to be able to pull it out this season And no, it doesn't look like they ever have: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Southampton/Southampton.htm

    16-17 Soccer Kits

Got a lot to cover here. First, two Nike teams from the J.League - here's Urawa Red Diamonds: And Kashima Antlers: Then, a new logo for Sheffield Wednesday, which is basically their logo from the 50's: Next, looks like Aston Villa will be wearing Under Armour next season, which puts them as the third PL team done by UA (Spurs and Southampton): http://www.footyheadlines.com/2016/01/aston-villa-to-sign-under-armour-kit-deal.html?m=1 And best for last, Ethiopia has a few interesting options for their first uniforms from AMS. Here's the home options: And here's clash: If you're wondering what the hell option four of the home kits looks like, fear not! Also here's what option one of the home kits looks like: I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like that eyesore 4th option, but I know that it would look awful from a distance. I'd go for 1 for home and 4 for clash probably.

Third kits are getting discontinued, the last new one will be a blue third from Seattle. The Adidas catalog, however, lists a navy clash kit with orange accents for NYCFC, so this would fit the bill. Looks as good as I imagined it would be, and while I can't confirm if it's legit, it'll probably be something pretty similar to that.

The insane sublimation on Osaka is apparently the club's new home, Suita City Football Stadium. Cool I guess? Also, what's with the X's on the shoulders? Is that a new thing Umbro is doing or is it just a J.League thing? Pumas and Club America with the same style third kit that Nike's been using:
  14. Looks like the Great Lakes Loons (Dodgers-A) are unveiling new logos on February 13th (http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20160112&content_id=161698204&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_t456&sid=t456): Looks like they're keeping their colors, which is surprising for a Dodgers affiliate as of late, but it is good that they are keeping them. I've always liked dark green and red together. For reference, here's their current logo:

I really like it! Save for removing some of the empty space, I personally wouldn't change a thing. I'm a sucker for art deco so of course the monogram looks amazing to me, and the colors are a good choice, heartening back to the golden age of Hollywood. Assuming they go with mostly black for the primary kits, this is going to set up a good looking derby with the all white of the Galaxy. And hey, guess what? Actual merchandise from MLS! I'm on mobile so I can't share pictures, but I could really use that hat. http://www.mlsstore.com/search/LAFC//partnerid/14184/source/BM-LosAngelesFootballClub-LAFC-LOGOLAUNCH-Homepage-1716

    2016 MLS Jerseys

LAFC is revealing their crest and colors a lot sooner than I expected - this Thursday, Jan 7. No time or potential livestream has been announced yet. http://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2016/01/03/los-angeles-football-club-set-unveil-crest-and-club-colors-january-7 Also, great job on the PLA, Raysox! It keeps the spirit of the original GLPL logo but looks unique at the same time. Keep up the good work!

I'd rather prefer the second one of those four (love that monogram), but I would like some kind of crown in there - maybe the one in the 4th one, maybe one closer to the one in their previous logo. It just kinda feels like they could've added more to it.

Looks like Hungary is letting fans choose their home and clash kits for next year (http://www.footyheadlines.com/2015/12/hungary-euro-2016-home-and-away-kits-vote.html). Aside from the two already posted here, there's pinstriped versions also: You can vote here: https://www.facebook.com/nsonline/photos/a.10153791452786941.1073741839.303640261940/10153791453076941/?type=3&theater

Didn't actually think of that until you mentioned it. I saw it more as a digital effect of sorts since all the extensions are of equal width.

  22. Never too soon to have the logo for the AAA championship game, hosted by Memphis: EDIT: Adding this here so as to not double post, but new logo for the Texas League.

    2015-16 Soccer Kits and News

That's a very good logo for the club. Good way to hearken back to the old East German logo. Meanwhile, the Newcastle Jets of the A-League are going to be honoring the RAAF with... well... It's only going to be a one-off kit, which is probably for the best.
  24. Oh man, Hartford looks amazing. Wish they would use the "YG" hat in a greater capacity, but other than that, no major complaints. How about the Syracuse Chiefs finally upgrading their logos? Puts them more in line with the rest of the Nationals' farm system and gets rid of the old Blue Jays color scheme:
