  1. Imagine if Art Modell had been as hard 4ss about defending the Browns' IP when Paul Brown founded the Bengals as the Addams family is now with Oilers IP...
  2. "Sir, a second leak has hit the Chris Creamer forums"
  3. Lifelong Pittsburgh everything fan and I agree with this.
  4. Finally ponied up the money to read Paul's substack, and the Nike NFL interviews are fascinating. I am also glad it dispells the "tail wagging the dog" relationship people seemed to think Nike has in regards to NFL uniform design; that never really made sense to me.
  5. Makes sense, they seemed to be field testing the brow-bar style masks on college teams this past season.
  6. Imagine that same uni match-up on the gray field at EMU
  7. I miss them if only because it reminds me of an era of college football that is no longer with us. In terms of aesthetics, I couldn't be happier to see them gone.
  8. Still using that same old template, too
  9. I don't have pictures at the moment but if you're watching the KU-Illini game, pay attention to Illinois TE Tip Reiman and his helmet; looks like Riddell finally figured out how to put a brow bar on the axiom.
  10. this rocks and i want the NFL to let him wear it in the regular season
  11. apropos of nothing, seeing pictures of drew brees at purdue makes me wish at least someone would bring back the JOP facemask
  12. Holy cow that's a blast from the past. I love that movie.
  13. for the record I love the new Vikings throwbacks, but I find it funny that this board (and I get that I am making a widely generalizing statement) is against manufacturers templating uniform design, whereas most of uniforms in the past that this board pines for are all templated designs themselves. For example, Washington, the Packers, the Saints, the Browns, and the Dolphins all had the very same striping pattern at one point.
