  1. Here are some cool or bizarre facts that I've realized or heard of over the years. My apologies if any of these have already been posted. 1. In 2004, the 49ers only won two games. Both victories were 31-28 overtime wins against the Cardinals. 2. In 2003, the Chiefs were led by former Eagles coach, Dick Vermeil. They started the season 9-0, and eventually, they'd go on to lose in the playoffs to the Colts. Ten years later, in 2013, they were led by another former Eagles coach, Andy Reid. They once again started out 9-0, and once again lost to the Colts in the playoffs. 3. The Giants started a very interesting streak in 2007. Every four seasons, they would lose 38-35 to an undefeated team whose name begins with the letter P. Take a look: 2007: Giants face undefeated Patriots, lose 38-35 2011: Giants face undefeated Packers, lose 38-35 2015: Giants face undefeated Panthers, lose 38-35 4. The 49ers won Super Bowl XXIX in their 49th season, scoring 49 points in the victory. 5. From Super Bowl XXI to Super Bowl XXVIII, the losing team's name began with the letter B. XXI: Broncos XXII: Broncos XXIII: Bengals XXIV: Broncos XXV: Bills XXVI: Bills XXVII: Bills XXVIII: Bills 6. After hiring back to back coaches named Mike, (Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary) the 49ers hired back to back coaches named Jim (Jim Harbaugh and Jim Tomsula). 7. The NFC Central/North had an interesting streak start in 1985. Every 13 years, the division winner went 15-1. 1985: Bears, 15-1 1998: Vikings, 15-1 2011: Packers, 15-1 The Lions need to win the division with a 15-1 record in 2024 to keep the streak alive.
  2. And an interesting fact about the two games: Both ended with a score of 31-17, with the Steelers winning the first matchup and the Ravens getting the victory in the second.
  3. Sorry for going off-topic again, but while looking up rare uniform matchups, I came across some rarely worn uniform combos. Anybody remember these?
  4. Another picture from that game with Stephen Curry and Allen Iverson on the court at the same time (in the background). Crazy to think that happened as well.
