    2017-2018 NFL Concepts

Imgur Album Links: Saints Steelers Cowboys Chargers Rams Falcons Packers Jaguars Patriots Eagles With the NFL Playoffs starting today, I decided to mock up some ideas I had for a three NFL Teams: the Saints, Steelers, and Cowboys. I loved the color rush uniforms for both the Saints and Steelers; ideas from both are implemented in these concepts. For the Saints, the concept basically is their color rush; there is no reason they shouldn't adopt that look full time. I simplified their helmet logo a bit and brought back the Louisiana state outline logo as a chest patch. In addition to the white jerseys taken from the color rush set, the concept includes a black jersey with gold-white-gold-white-gold stripes as well as a gold jersey with b-w-b-w-b stripes. An alternate white helmet idea is also shown; it would only be used if the NFL were to lift the one helmet rule, obviously.

    NFL Playoff Wallpapers

Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.
  3. Hi! I've been on this site for awhile lurking the concepts forum. I decided to create an account and join the fun. I'm late to the Super Bowl party, but I'd thought I could share with you guys a couple Super Bowl Posters I made for Anniversary years of the Super Bowl. C&C is always welcome.
  4. Hey guys, I've been a long time lurker here but I've never really gotten around to posting for myself until now. In honor of Oklahoma State's 125th anniversary, I recently ran a project where, week by week, I would recreate a football uniform from the school's past using the modern Mach Speed template and do a (sometimes brief, sometimes not) writeup on the period that uniform was from. After I'd finished the series, a friend of mine suggested that I share the project here as well since you all might enjoy it, and since then I've been contemplating the best way to go about that. I didn't want to just dump the whole thing in a single post here as it'd definitely come out as a mess, but it also didn't make sense to hold them week in and week out when you can just view the entire finished series elsewhere, so I think the best middle ground I found was to just post them one by one in this thread every couple of days with the original writeups included. So, with that, here's my original first entry: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My first pick is one that I don't see brought up often for any reason other than the helmet: the 1967-1968 home set, featuring the Bronc Rider in all its glory. (click for fullsize) The '67 and '68 squads weren't particularly notable in terms of performance, chalking up 4-5-1 and 3-7 seasons along with an upset of #3 ranked Colorado, but this set is significant for featuring a number of firsts for Oklahoma State. Although the Bronc Rider was likely in use at the university as early as 1942 and was used by various other sports and organizations on campus, these two seasons mark the only time that the logo has ever appeared anywhere on an OSU football uniform (the sole exception being a fauxback helmet in 2014). The Bronc Rider was also the first logo or brand to ever be used on an Oklahoma State helmet, with past years (and even the first games of the '67 season) simply featuring helmet numbers and/or striping. Finally, this uniform marks the first time that Oklahoma State wore an orange helmet since their days as OA&M; they would promptly return to white beginning in the 1969 season, dropping the Bronc Rider for a diagonal OSU design. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you want to spoil yourself on the full series, you can either view it here on OrangePower.com or find the series on my Twitter account. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to posting the next entry soon!

    NFL League Wide Revisioned

UPDATED THE IMAGE URLS, I HOPE EVERYONE CAN SEE MY WORK! Hello there, don't really post much at all on this forum, however this side project seems worthy of a post. Nike-esque, Bright vibrant NFL. To me this is what the perfect modern NFL would look like. Credit to Conrad for some of the fonts, as well as SportsLogosNet for some base logos. Template was my own.
  6. I haven't been on this board for a while so I am a little out of touch with what is being posted. I've noticed that there are quite a few NFL Concept Series taking place right now. Hopefully my work won't be too similar! So I've had a couple of weeks available to attack this concept series. I will be looking to upload as much as I can as I complete the work. I won't ramble on as the series is pretty self explanatory but I have started with teams that I think need to have a change. Some of the changes are drastic, some are subtle. Hopefully you guys will enjoy the work and and C&C is welcome. Below is the concept order. Panthers Bengals Cowboys Titans Patriots Saints Broncos Jets Cardinals Jaguars Rams Falcons Braves (Redskins) Eagles Texans Chargers Lions Ravens 49ers Bills Steelers Raiders Packers Giants Chiefs Colts Bears Seahawks Vikings Dolphins Buccaneers Browns First up are the Carolina Panthers. I felt that although they have an already great uniform (despite being two decades old and unchanged) it was time for a slight change. Home Road Alternate Hope you like them and looking forward to C&C.
  7. The Cowboys are America's Team. Yet, America's team doesn't have consistent uniforms. This uniform concept tries to make everything as consistent as possible. I used 1 shade of silver/gray, and 1 shade of navy blue. Also I made it in paint, so it won't be 100% perfect. c&c appreciated. p.s. thanks to Mr.Nascar13 for the template http://s1382.photobucket.com/user/evandurhamdolphins91/media/CowboysUniform_zps20d01004.png.html?sort=3&o=0
  8. Here are six NFL concepts I made. Chargers (revised logo, new uniforms) Lions (new uniforms, revised color scheme) Bengals (revised wordmark, new uniforms) Eagles (new logos and uniforms) Giants (revised uniforms) Steelers (revised logos and uniforms)

    Hall of Fame Game

I thought this deserved its own thread, since we're seeing the Fins uniforms on the field for the first time. I think they look great, but it's a little disorienting to see that the orange has been downgraded to a highlight color equal to the navy. Also disorienting is the huge "MIAMI" printed on the players' butts. I hope that's not something any other team emulates. One more thing - I'm watching football in HD for the first time and the Cowboys' pants no longer look green. Is it my TV? Or did they finally, FINALLY chuck the green pants? (Someone please tell me they chucked the green.)

    Dallas Cowboys Football Uniform Concept

I enjoyed making the Texas Tech uniform concept so much that I decided to work one up for the Cowboys. I've done one of these before and a few people freaked out when they saw it. Remember, this was just for fun. It's not like Jerry Jones is going to go with these next season, so everybody just relax...
  11. Here is my concept for a revamped cowboys uniform. complete with a chrome helmet. comments please!

    NFL Concepts

I've made this Steelers concept a few months back, but I never got around to posting it. I recently made the Seahawks and Cowboys to go along with it. STEELERS With the Steelers, I really didn't change much. I simplified the shoulder stripe and added a wordmark to the chest. The helmet is matte, and the yellow stripe has a steel pattern in it. It isn't clearly illustarted, but it's meant to look MSU/ Texas A&M like. The logo is the same, except for green replacing the gray. I originally planned to have a beveled star, but it didn't look right and I just went with a plain star. The ALT or "Throwback" in this set would be the current road unis.
