  1. Anaheim NHL All Star Concept

It's been 25 years, and the Ducks have still never hosted an All Star Game. As I patiently await the day it is announced, I decided to design a jersey concept in the meantime. The Western Conference teams use the same orange/black/gold color scheme as the Ducks do currently. I've noticed that in the past few years, the host division's team wears the same primary color as the host team, so I decided to continue this pattern. To contrast this, the Eastern Conference gets to wear the Ducks' throwback eggplant/jade combination. The All Star Logo itself is based off Anaheim's most iconic building: Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle. I thought the concept of a shooting star fit perfectly here, acting as a connection between the All-Star Game, and "When You Wish Upon a Star".
  2. I decided to do a Ducks-Sharks Stadium Series concept, since I've always thought it would be cool to see the Ducks play outdoors at Angels Stadium. The other two California teams have hosted Stadium Series games, so while it's unlikely, it only feels logical that the Ducks would eventually do the same. As you can tell, both of the jerseys combine aspects from the teams' past and present uniforms. For the Ducks, I went with the original Mighty Duck logo, as well as very similar striping pattern as their original uniforms. With the Sharks, I combined their current logo together with their original jerseys, while swapping out the grey stripes with orange. The Stadium Series logo itself obviously is based on the "Big A" that is located just outside of Angels Stadium, while also borrowing from the Angels' color scheme itself. The home plate shape also continues the baseball motif. This is my first post here, so I would appreciate some feedback.

Just a concept i made in an hour
  4. Strange Anaheim Mighty Ducks Jersey

So I was at Plato's Closet yesterday and found a rather interesting Anaheim Mighty Ducks jersey. It looks VERY authentic, even including a fight strap. Everything sewn onto the jersey is very high quality, but there's something off about it, and that's the main color of the jersey. It's actually maroon instead of the purple that the Ducks used. Could this maybe be a prototype, or could they have possibly used a base for an Avalanche jersey at the factory by accident? You be the judge...
  5. NHL Preds, Sens & Ducks

With all the new stuff happening in the NHL, here's a few ideas to kick around...
  6. I personally think that some of the extinct hockey teams looked the best. The Whalers, Nordiques, Rockies, Jets, etc. had some of my favorite hockey designs ever, and instead now we get to feast our eyes on the Hurricanes and Avalanche. Sad. So, This is basically my attempt to rewrite history, if the new franchises continued the look of their formers, Starting out with the Whaler-Hurricanes. The whalers had one of the best logos in all of sports history, and awesome uniforms and color scheme to boot, which helps to make the Hurricanes design more unique. C&C appreciated, and although I have some more on tap, let me know what you'd like to see next! Thanks!
  7. LA Kings 50th Anniversary mini-series

I had a bit of trouble sleeping a few nights ago, and then the idea for this mini-series came to me: take all of the Kings' old jerseys (with the exception of the first Edge jersey and the Burger King design). Play a little mix-n-match with their crests and colors. Have various opponents play along. End result: I think I have an awesome idea, and I must post. First up: 60s-70s jersey + Gretzky era crest & colors vs. California Golden Seals San Jose Sharks. Yes, I felt it was worth the effort to cannibalize the Seals wordmark to create a Sharks version. Next up: the Flyers ripoffs worn for most of the 80s + 2000s era logos. Since the 70s night slot was taken by the Sharks...guess who's coming in for 80s night? That's right, the Flying V. Funny thing about the Kings jersey, I was strongly considering either the coat of arms or just the lion as the crest, since I'd soured on that particular crown years ago. Settled for the crown on front, and the lion on the breezers. 90s Night will feature the Forum Blue & Gold vs. the Ducks, while 2K Night's itinerary will feature the Burger King vs. the Coyotes. You have been warned
  8. First Jersey Concept
  9. It's been awhile since I last posted on this site so decided to comeback with some more NHL related concepts. For this series the goal is not to be an accurate predictor of future Stanley Cup match ups and is more of a fictionalized telling of yet to be played finals. This series is also intended to conform with the continuity of @timberwolf's Champions League of Hockey series, which I was a part of. I will post a brief description of each team's route to the finals and the finals themselves in addition to the concepts. I'm also contemplating adding rosters for each team so comment below if you want see them. Template credits go to Matt McElroy and Josiah Bosch. First up it's the 2022 Stanley Cup featuring the defending champion Anaheim Ducks and upstart Pittsburgh Penguins.
