    Brampton Beast Concept

The Brampton Beast IMO have one of the better logosets in the ECHL, but their jerseys leave a lot to be desired, specifically the white and gray colours blending into each other. i tried to fix this by incorporating a new striping pattern removing white and gray from each other, while still maintaining the same colour balance. The yoke has both striping and an outline to retain some minor league aesthetic. C&C is appreciated!
  2. HJC just finished their Pairs Comp, And I teamed up with fellow designer Burkus Circus for an idea for a 2019 Centennial Classic doubleheader. The main idea is that the NHL is helping the Packers celebrate their centennial season by playing two outdoor games at Lambeau Field. First, a College matchup between the Golden Gophers and Badgers, then an NHL showdown between the Blackhawks and Wild. I designed the Event Logo, Ice Surface, and Slideshow, while Burkus Circus designed the jerseys and title page. Disclaimer: I have received full permission from Burkus Circus to display our work here. Thanks for watching!

    Charlotte Checkers Concepts

HJC just finished up their contest called The Season, where you anonymously create a concept that goes into a round-robin where readers vote on which jersey they like more. I picked a random team, which ended up being the Charlotte Checkers. My goal for these concepts was to create a similar but not identical look to the parent club Hurricanes, and to incorporate a checkerboard pattern, since it's right there in the name. The first set on the top was my round-robin set. I used a off-colour shoulder with checkers as stripes. This ended up finishing second in the group, earning a playoff spot. The bottom set was for the playoffs. I went with a black home just to change things up, and created a new pattern, featuring two seperate checker patterns. It unfortunately couldn't get to the final, but I was still happy with the design. So what do you guys think? C&C is appreciated!

    Toledo Walleye Concept

Taking a small break from my New Look series to post this. Over at HJC, they recently had a Toledo Walleye Redesign Comp, and this was my entry. IMO the walleye have one of the best minor league identities in sports, so I didn't change too much. I kept the navy cuffs/hem on both jerseys, but made the striping pattern more traditional, but with a minor league feel. there are yokes on both jerseys, and I used the realistic-looking walleye as the main crest. The double-hook logo is on the shoulders. Not much else to say. C&C welcome.
  5. Taking a small break from my city mashup series in order for me to complete my concepts for HJC's World Hockey Jersey Championship. First up is Canada. For this, I used the Chest stripe from their vintage jerseys, and added the two stripes from their modern jerseys. A vintage-style maple leafs adorns the front, and black is relegated to the equipment. C&C is appreciated!

    The Season concepts

Recently, HockeyJerseyConcepts had a competition called "The Season" where people would anonymously send in concepts for a team of their choice. The teams were then split into groups for a round-robin format. The top 2 concepts in each group would advance to the playoffs, where the people would send in new concepts. I chose the San Jose Sharks as my team because I wanted to use their great new logos. I used the Archetype template from Icethetics because I didn't want to make my jersey obvious. For the first set of jerseys, which were part of the round-robin, I wanted to use orange (Unpopular Opinion: I like orange in their color scheme, I like orange in general), but only as a trim colour. I tried to make the design modern with a little bit of vintage. For the second set of jerseys, which were used in the playoffs, I wanted to use a style similar to the jerseys they used from 1998-2007. C&C is appreciated!

    Philadelphia Quakers Concept

This was submitted to HJC for their 365 Club competition I took part of their jersey's stripe pattern and added white to make it look closer to their away jerseys. Thoughts?
  8. Roller Hockey International was a league that lasted 6 years from 1993-1999, and never had good attendance, merchandise sales, or popularity. One of the founding members of that league was the Toronto Planets, who had an awful logo, and only lasted one year. HockeyJerseyConcepts.com is having a redesign project, and the goal is to redesign an RHI team. I took a shot at redesigning the Toronto Planets, and I'd like to get a little feedback before I send it in. So without further ado, here's the project. Credit to @McElroy19 and MockupArena.com for the jersey template.
  9. As everybody on here probably knows, HockeyJerseyConcepts.com is holding a contest to see who has the best redesign for the Colorado Avalanche's 20th anniversary in Denver. They're allowing two entries per person, so here are my two entries. Set 1: Set 2 (Update 1.0!): Let me know what you think and what improvements I can make!
  10. I have seen other concepts with chevrons for sleeve stripes and had an idea for my own version. I looked at the chevrons for an Ordnance sergeant from the union army. I made the initial color scheme for the jackets one to resemble a Union Army uniform with two tones of blue and no red in the design. the other version do utilize Columbus' color scheme with the addition of a lighter blue that they use on the present alternate. I am open to any and all critiques that anyone has. First the logos the oval one ont he bottom right and the circular one on the bottom left are meant to be secondary or shoulder logos. The C and the star obviously are for Columbus being the capital of Ohio. the crossed cannons are inspired by the insignia found on Civil War era kepis and uniforms. The founder of the Blue Jackets John H. McConnell initials are included in some of the designs actual Civil War chevrons that inspired me The uniform sets. First design. The two tone blue with white and a touch of grey or silver. The pants are to look like the Union Army's pants and go with the idea that the jackets have now with different colored pants from the jersey. The founder of the Jackets initials are included on these designs like they are on the alternate and the "We march, We fight" inside the collar. 2nd design. Using the Jackets colors and adding the light blue trim with a little bit of grey. 3rd design. Has less red and less grey and more blue on it. I was tryin some of the other logos and added the red stripes on the flag logo to look more like the Ohio flag. As i go along i will add different versions and revisions of the uniforms and logos. I want to use them for the Hockey Jersey Concepts.
