  1. I finally decided to post my Minnesota Vikings concept that I made in January. The concept is based on the idea that there is a home/away set, color rush, and a throwback alternate. I based the main set on the vikings current uniforms while also implementing the concept drawings by Hubenthal. I used the current Vikings font but without the serifs, added a white facemask, and tweaked the horn logo slightly. For the color rush uniform I decided to base it on the all white uniforms the vikings wore from 1969-1995 with the UCLA stripes. I based the alternate/throwback on the 1965 uniform set, where the numbers are outlined and the stocks dont have stripes.

    2017-2018 NFL Concepts

Imgur Album Links: Saints Steelers Cowboys Chargers Rams Falcons Packers Jaguars Patriots Eagles With the NFL Playoffs starting today, I decided to mock up some ideas I had for a three NFL Teams: the Saints, Steelers, and Cowboys. I loved the color rush uniforms for both the Saints and Steelers; ideas from both are implemented in these concepts. For the Saints, the concept basically is their color rush; there is no reason they shouldn't adopt that look full time. I simplified their helmet logo a bit and brought back the Louisiana state outline logo as a chest patch. In addition to the white jerseys taken from the color rush set, the concept includes a black jersey with gold-white-gold-white-gold stripes as well as a gold jersey with b-w-b-w-b stripes. An alternate white helmet idea is also shown; it would only be used if the NFL were to lift the one helmet rule, obviously.
  3. The Packers are creating a year-round destination campus they're calling the "Titletown District". And today they unveiled the logo: Ugh. Not cool at all. That's embarrassing.
  4. I own a blank 1993 Green Bay Packers jersey that I want to get lettered. However, in 1993 Green Bay used screen printing instead of sewn-on tackle twill. I am curious as to if anyone knows of a company that can apply the lettering in the same way as back then.

    Packers to host History Nights

http://www.packers.com/news-and-events/article-press-release/article-1/Packers-Hall-of-Fame-to-host-monthly-History-Night-starting-Feb-28/53164693-fee4-4b76-87c4-dd5a3a960a0a?campaign=sf57406279_TW_C-Content-GB_CT-Hall+of+Fame-GB_sf57406279#ixzz4ZEjQR4U2 Interesting use of the people and artifacts found in the Packers Hall of Fame. I'd love to drive up there if I had the free time for this. For those not interested in clicking the link, the first session is going to be on the history of the uniform. A later monthly session will be on the history of the helmet.

    NFL Playoff Wallpapers

Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.

    Favre's HOF fame locker

I have to believe not everybody is going to be happy with this presentation.
  8. So recently I read an article about Xenith's new Epic Varsity Helmet (declared to be the safest football helmet currently), which I think happens to also look pretty cool, and it made me want to use it for helmet designs. I hadn't seen a template out there so I've attempted to make my own Paint.NET template for this helmet. This is my first template that I've made from scratch, so feel free to give some pointers for improving. For the first design using I decided to do a take on a concept that's been done before but I really like, the Packers 'Cheesehead' helmet design.

    NFL League Wide Revisioned

UPDATED THE IMAGE URLS, I HOPE EVERYONE CAN SEE MY WORK! Hello there, don't really post much at all on this forum, however this side project seems worthy of a post. Nike-esque, Bright vibrant NFL. To me this is what the perfect modern NFL would look like. Credit to Conrad for some of the fonts, as well as SportsLogosNet for some base logos. Template was my own.
  10. I don't feel like the Packers were too off, just a couple minor tweaks

    Packers 2015 Throwback Uniform Concept

I'm kind of pissed that the Acme Packers jerseys are going away, but yet I'm excited for the future of the Packers' throwback jersey (because I sincerely doubt the new alternate jersey is going to be a yellow jersey). So I decided to make my own throwback jerseys using the same template as the 2012 Packers logoslick: 1936 Uniform Concept: 1939/1944 Uniform Concept (better than the 1994 throwback): I tried to make the numbers as historically accurate as possible, even if the NFL doesn't care about historical accuracy. Let me know what you think!

    Packers Uniform Concepts

I'm a die-hard Packers fan, and I noticed that Green Bay doesn't have that many options for uniforms. I know they want to keep tradition, but I thought it'd be fun to change the colors around on the uniforms. My idea was to categorize them by color, and then each uniform could be mixed and matched with multiple colors. This is my first time on the forums, so I wanted to see what you guys thought. Any feedback would be great. Thanks. Green Uniforms Yellow Uniforms White Uniforms Throwback Uniforms [Actual Uniforms] I originally had a black uniform instead of the throwbacks, but I decided to change it because of the helpful feedback I have been receiving. Packers uniform fix

I love the Packers' uniforms, but I feel that they need to go back to what they used to be.
  14. It was 1961, just before the start of Green Bay Packers training camp. That's when Coach Vince Lombardi had the idea of putting a logo on the helmets of his players for the very first time. A new design concept, the Packers "G," was born. It's a concept has stood the test of time, thanks to the careful original work of its designer, St. Norbert College adjunct faculty member John Gordon. Video here: http://youtu.be/iZHTSpZ9KM8
  15. Recently, I've been working on a project involving football uniforms from the 1920's through today. Unfortunately, I could never find an old school style template that I liked, so I decided to make one on my own. I'm a huge fan of andrewharrington's Nike Pro Combat template and Raysox's Yakball template and use both rather extensively, so I based mine on a combination of the styles of theirs. I'm not particularly a fan of the last one, so I'm gonna retool it, and I still have to work on the back of the pants templates, but I'd love to get some C+C on these. Here are also some real life examples featuring the NFL's two most historic teams. That's the Bears 1936 Alternate, and the Packers 1959-1960 home uniform. Here's the link SVG

    Alternative Packers Concept (HUNTING)

This concept is something I have thought of for a while. This jersey is a hunting style jersey for the week before, during, or after opening season of hunting in Wisconsin. Since hunting and Packers are two huge things in Wisconsin, why not have them combine. Give me some ideas on what I can add or adjust to this jersey.
