  1. It's named "CCSLC Forum Brackets", and the password is "ccslcforum". I didn't put a year in the name of the group because I wanted it to be one that everyone can rejoin every year without it having the previous year in the title. If you are interested in joining, please post that here so that we know who is playing. If you decide to play, please name the bracket with your CCSLC usersname (you don't have to rename your username) so that we know which brackets are associated with which people. ONLY one bracket per person per group. Same group name and password for the following sites... ESPN Group CBS Sports Group (No longer being used) Yahoo! Group (No longer being used) NCAA March Madness Group (No longer being used) Because the ESPN group gets a better showing, I encourage everyone to join that one. If there isn't a good showing in the other groups this year, they will likely not be continued in following years. 2016 EDIT: All the groups above except for the NCAA March Madness group were reactivated. I had to make a new group for the NCAA March Madness group because the NCAA site doesn't save groups from previous years. All the links above should work for this year. The Sports Illustrated group and Fox Sports group from last year (2015) were removed because of lack of people. New for this year (2016), here's an ESPN Group for the women's basketball tournament... ESPN Group (Women's Tournament) ESPN Second Chance (Restart Bracket at Sweet 16) ESPN Second Chance Group 2017 EDIT: All the groups from 2016 are back and the links should work. Again, I encourage everyone to join the ESPN one because it gets the best participation. The Second Chance group will be reactivated once ESPN has it up again. 2018 EDIT: Only doing ESPN groups (men's and women's tournaments, and second chance) this year due to low participation in other groups.

    CCSLC Bowl Pick'em Group

Hey, I was thinking that maybe I could make a "Bowl Mania" group similar to the March Madness brackets. It doesn't quite have the same feel, but I decided to make it anyway. The name is "CCSLC Forum Bowl Pick'em", and the password is "ccslcforum". I'm trying to keep it as close to the March Madness group as possible. As of now, the only thing that it will be on is ESPN. Please name your entry as your username. Pick away! The link should be right here, but if it doesn't work tell me and I will try to fix it.
  3. So, after a positive response to whether I should make this thread, I've decided to go ahead and make a thread devoted to uniform numbers. This is the all-encompassing uniform number thread - although a decent amount of my posts will focus on free agents getting new numbers when they go to new teams - so you can post anything you want about uni numbers. I'll get it started with one of the more high-profile number changes of the MLB offseason:
  4. Here is how this will work: Any member who wants to can submit their 2016 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot. We will be following the same rules as the BBWAA have currently. Members can submit votes until January 5. After all the ballots have been submitted, I will count the votes each player gets and see who the CCSLC would induct into the Baseball Hall of Fame and compare it with who actually gets in. Here are some helpful links: HoF Voting Procedures: http://www.baseball-reference.com/about/hof_voting.shtml Official 2016 HoF Ballot: http://www.baseball-reference.com/awards/hof_2016.shtml I know that HoF debates are some of the most heated debates there are in sports, especially in baseball. But, please, let's try to keep it civil. Here's the spreadsheet, in case anyone's curious: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r7d526xBESssy9x04pF9Fgk6F1tYvv9ZThpMiNRsUDY/htmlview
  5. Is anyone else thinking of doing NHL.com's Bracket challenge? I was thinking it would be fun for the boards to all get together and create a group--see who's the best playoff predictor in the CCSLC. Thoughts? Would any be interested?
