  1. I've taken another long break from concepts, so consider this my return. I've decided on a redesign of the Pac-12. I've completed all 12 teams before I started this thread, and I will release one every four days. I am going in a completely random order. Here are the release dates: 9/29 (Today): Oregon 10/3: Arizona 10/7: Stanford 10/11: Cal 10/15: Arizona State 10/19: Washington State 10/23: UCLA 10/27: Washington 10/31: USC 11/4: Oregon State 11/8: Utah 11/12: Colorado Starting with Oregon. Oregon gets some consistency in this set I love the "O" on the helmet, so that returns full time. Only (only?) six helmets, six jerseys, and six pants. The Duck is on the sleeves, and the shoulders have a modified wing pattern. The shoulder wings are supposed to be reflective, like this Hit me up with C&C!
  2. It's my first soccer concept, so it may be a little rough or bad looking, but here is what I'd do with the Colorado Rapids. Thanks for everything!
  3. 2018 NHL All Star Weekend

This was @JJ Anderes' and my entry into the HJC Pairs comp. We ended up winning it, so thanks to HJC and all who voted! Anyways, let's dig into this. The concept was to make some logos and uniforms for a future all star game. We chose to put the NHL's All Star game in Denver, Colorado. Below are JJ's logos, and my uniforms. It was a lot of fun working with JJ, and he definitely made some incredible logos. Thanks for watching!
  4. 9 News Update

9 News is a local news station in Denver, Colorado. They use a fairly generic, bland, and sometimes complex identity that's well-known but just not that good, imo. Their app icon and logo is below. I really just wanted to clean that all up, and make it more modern, unique, and nicer. It's not a huge change, but I think it's at least an update. What I've got is below. I changed the font to be more circular and modern, closed the '9', and cleaned up the app. Here are the white versions of those. I also updated their website's colors and logo, along with a bunch of fake news titles. That's below. I know it's not a major upgrade, but I think more news outlets need to get cleaner, more unique identities, even if it's minor changes like these.
  5. Inspired by the chaos and fights in this thread, I decided to update the Colorado Avalanche's logo. Here it is below. It isn't a whole lot better than their current logo, but I tried to go off of what everybody in the thread said. Make the 'A' smaller and not-curved, and turn the oval into a circle. Only thing I did on my own was brighten the burgundy. I threw it together quickly and I don't like it that much, but I figured it'd be worth it to post. What do you think?
  6. Colorado Rockies Refresh

The Colorado Rockies changing their primary logo from the mountains to the interlocking CR is a lateral move for a brand than needs to be refreshed. The core concept is strong but it definitely feels dated. So here's my swing (sorry) at a Rockies update. Silver is eliminated from the logo and purple takes center stage. The mountains are cleaned up while still feeling rugged. The proportions of the new logo and the old are almost exactly the same--I designed the new logo on top of the old one--but the half roundel is thinned and the ball is given a clear launching direction, breaking through the atomosphere. I designed a purple monochrome version of this logo which I think looks better, but since I do plan to use black in the uniforms , I felt it'd be better to have black feature in the logo as well. My biggest complaint of the Rockies current set is that awful font. I hate how it looks like the CR is silver with a too thick black inner outline. The new CR originally had a black outline but thinking on some classic hats (Yankees, Dodgers, Reds) a solid color on a contrasting color looks great by itself. Again, in addition to refreshing the look, the goal is to make the new bold purple the main character. Proportionally the new CR is just a little taller than the old. Wordmarks use the same fonts as the primary and don't look like a too thick black inner outline was applied. Cool! Uniforms coming soon but here we are!
  7. Saw @Zeus89725's similar thread and figured it was acceptable. My shirt, "The Centennial State," is up on Cotton Bureau, pick one up before it closes tomorrow night! If you know any Coloradans, spread the word! I've considered doing team specific versions in different colors, like Broncos/Rockies/Avs/Nuggets/Buffs/Rams/UNC/AFA (all in time, of course) as well.
  8. Mile High - Colorado Rockies Rebrand

After getting a little bored and thinking of teams in more sports than hockey that needed an update, I decided on the Colorado Rockies. I'm not sure about you guys, but from the moment I really started to really started to look at the Rockies' logo, I realized it was just crap. The font was outdated and just looked bad, and it was an odd mashup of wordmark and logo that just doesn't work. However, I tried to redo that while maintaining some of the logo's best aspects, and adding some new mountains and double purple. My goal for the redesigned Rockies was to be mostly black-free to create a more colorful and unique identity. Here is my initial product. With the primary logo, it is what I wanted it to be; a more simple, more purple, updated version of their current logo. I completely redid the mountains, which was my goal, as well as refined the shape and introduced a new font. However, when I look at the area under the mountains and around the "Colorado", something looks off. I can't put my finger on it, and I'd love if one of you guys could help me out. Here's a secondary logo I made pretty quickly. Not a ton to say, just a recolored Colorado flag 'C'. It'd make a good cap logo. In addition, I had some spare time and decided to photoshop my logo where the huge Rockies logo sign is at Coors Field. I was going to make jerseys, but I need to get more ideas and actually figure out how to make a good baseball jersey. What are your thoughts?
  9. Colorado Eagles Rebrand

The Colorado Eagles have pretty bland designs. (Pictured below) They're not bad, but they don't suit the team, and are definitely not unique. CURRENT JERSEYS: While their logo is nothing special, I figured they should own the three stripes that make up the 'E' in the logo, and also can be seen as wings. I made that the primary striping that wraps around the entire jersey, and I also have 3 jersey sets prepared. I couldn't figure out which pair of pants suited the jerseys best, so I tried all options. (Except for yellow and white, as those would be awful.) For the keen-eyed out there, you may notice the little sublimated 'E' beneath the collar. It's small, and virtually un-see-able, but I figured it's a unique touch that adds on the 'E'-feather identity. Below are some detailed views of the collars. Regardless, vote in the poll above for the best pant color, and let me know what you think! Also, jersey template done by the amazing @timberwolf
  10. Longmont City Flag Redesign

I know everyone on here usually only posts jerseys and logos (Me included) but I realized that the town has an absolutely awful flag, and I felt the need to redesign it. If there's any terminology or references to the city that you don't understand, feel free to Google it. The flag is for the city of Longmont, Colorado, which is located on the Front Range, roughly halfway between Fort Collins and Denver. Below is a bunch of slides from a Powerpoint I'm making. Below the pictures of the slides will be a bit of commentary based on what's on the slide, and the inspiration/thoughts behind what's on the slide. TITLE SLIDE This is the title slide. Nothing really too special here. The flag flying on the front is the current flag of Longmont, whcih I'll get to later. CURRENT FLAG I'm gonna be brutally honest with this flag. It's an abstract mess from the 80's, with two 'L's, and negative space that resembles a crack pipe. In an unscientific survey I did of 25 people around Longmont, only 1 of them knew this was the city flag, and 0 of them had any idea what it represented. I don't understand why there's two 'L's when "Longmont" only has one. I don't know what the negative space is for, and I don't know why the 'L's are so oddly placed. I've only seen this flying in front of one civic building, one business complex, and in one workplace. NEW FLAG BRANDING INSPIRATIONS Not too long ago, the State of Colorado introduced new branding, located on the left, that more citizens find welcoming than the previous Colorado 'C' from the state flag. I agree that this is a lot cleaner, more modern, and more welcoming. I used that shade of green in my flags, and tried to hint at it in each one. My second inspiration was one of Longmont's most famous attractions, Twin Peaks. That's located on the right, and is formed between the two 13,000-14,000 foot mountains, Mt. Meeker and Long's Peak. I was also inspired by the foothills, (Pictured in front of Twin Peaks) the Longmont waterways, such as MacIntosh Lake, (Pictured at right) and the city's two rivers; the St. Vrain River, and Left Hand Creek. Lastly, I tried to represent the Great Plains that seem to begin right as Longmont does. FLAG DESIGN 1 Flags should be simplistic, look good, and have meaning, which this one does. The white mountains in the middle represent Twin Peaks, the blue on the left represents Left Hand Creek, the blue on the right represents the St. Vrain River, the green on the top represents the Rocky Mountains' green trees, and the green on the bottom represents the green of the Great Plains' grasses and grains. FLAG DESIGN 2 This is essentially the simplified version of Flag Design 1. The meaning is still there, minus the blue and the rivers. The white, this time, represents the white that sprinkles over the town and the mountains every winter. FLAG DESIGN 3 This is also a simplified version of flag design 1, just without the blue and the bottom green. The Twin Peaks extend all the way to the bottom of the flag this time, giving them a new feeling of height and power. FLAG DESIGN 4 I bet you're starting to see a pattern with these flags? They're all similar, and they all represent the same things. That's mostly true, except that the final one represents MacIntosh Lake rather than the two rivers of Longmont, because MacIntosh Lake provides the local farmers with water year-round, and also provides a beautiful place to hike, and to play, and just to view the mountains from. FINAL SLIDE This is the final slide, and provides rough mockups of all the flags flying. The top flag is the current flag, and all my designs are located below it. - Well, there it is! I know they're not the best flags, but leave me your thoughts, praise, and criticism below!
  11. Colorado Rockies Re-Brand

Here's a stab at a Rockies re-brand I've been working on. CC appreciated:
  12. Colorado Avalanche Concept

Hey all. I was messing around and made a Colorado Avalanche concept. I'm not sure if this would be an alt or a home jersey but I like it. I welcome all feedback and cc. Thanks guys!
  13. Fresh off my NY Islanders by Adidas set, I'm back with a new Colorado Avalanche by Adidas project! The logos are essentially the same, just the Rockies-esque logo from this year is eliminated. The navy sticks around as a secondary color, bringing a double blue to the Avs. The home and away feature the navy blue as the new main color, relegating burgundy to an accent. The mountain striping returns, and pays homage to the Rocky Mountains the team is named for. The Colorado C stays on the shoulders, as a symbol that the Avalanche represent the entire state of Colorado. The alternate is also based off of the Colorado flag, with the C at the center of a white line. The steel blue and burgundy colors return as the main colors for the set. Well there ya go! Rip 'em apart!
  14. Colorado Avalanche alternate logo

Hey, guys! This will be my first post on here because I never had the tools to properly make a concept for anything. And now that I do, I'll be posting occasionally. My first concept will be an alternate logo for the Colorado Avalanche. The inspiration comes from the current alternate logo they use, and an avalanche coming down from the Rocky Mountains. C&C welcome!
  15. Denver Nuggets concept "Denver Pride"

So this is my third NBA team concept and I've decided to do an NBA team that has never shied away from some funky designs. That team is the Denver Nuggets. For my design I decided to utilize some elements from the city of Denver itself as well as retouching retired designs from the franchise's past. My concept includes a primary logo, a secondary logo, a home jersey, a road jersey, and an alternate as well as some other ideas for another possible alternate jersey. C & C is always appreciated and I know that these designs are far from perfect so I appreciate it when people point things out so that I may improve this design. The Primary Logo: The Secondary Logo: Home Jersey: Road Jersey: Alternate Jersey: Alternate Concepts: If anything needs any explanation, please do not hesitate to ask. C & C appreciated!
  16. Fixing the Colorado Avalanche

Before HJC announced its Avs redesign contest, I began working on a "fix" for the Avs alleged new third sweater (the one leaked by Icethetics) So this is what I came up with... Once HJC the redesign contest was announced, I figured it would be a good opportunity to use this concept and make a matching road to go along with it. C&C is always welcome, enjoy! Edit: I also decided to enter my Avs concept from my NHL Redux thread...
  17. As everybody on here probably knows, HockeyJerseyConcepts.com is holding a contest to see who has the best redesign for the Colorado Avalanche's 20th anniversary in Denver. They're allowing two entries per person, so here are my two entries. Set 1: Set 2 (Update 1.0!): Let me know what you think and what improvements I can make!
  18. Colorado Rockies Concept

For the first time in probably three years (I just checked...it's been FOUR), I managed to find the time to do a concept. Anyway, I had an idea for the Rockies and decided to see what it'd look like worked out. The Rockies are a team that definitely could use an update, and the MLB could use a primarily purple team. That said, I eliminated black entirely. I did initially have a darker purple to replace the black but ultimately decided to stick with one shade of purple and add a lavender color to offset it with silver. For the primary, I didn't stray too far from the basic premise of the current logo. It's relatively simple, but I feel like a "Rockier" font works better than what they currently have. I used the Bradley University font as a base (please don't sue me, Nike) and angled some parts of the letters and added the spurs to spruce them up a bit. I'm not 100% sold on the baseball as the moon/sun effect, but I think I might toy with the laces to make that work a little better. I figured I'd post it as-is for some feedback while I'm working that a little more. I toyed with the Colorado flag as a basis for the cap logo (basically a Cubs-esque "C" with a baseball in the middle), and it just wasn't doing anything for me. Instead, I took the "C" from the font used in the primary, made it a little wider, and replaced the baseball with a mountain. Again, pretty simple, but I think simplicity works well on a baseball cap. I'm still working through the uniforms, but I figured I'd throw the wordmarks up here while I'm at it. Hit me up with whatever C&C you've got. Hopefully this is just the start of me doing some more concepts.
  19. Colorado Avalanche Rebrand

With the Avs getting 'New jerseys' at the draft, they missed a golden opportunity to replace the aprons they currently wear. Because of this, I decided to take advantage of the new logo they introduced and make a total makeover for the Avs. Here they are! I decided to keep the logos from the current era, as they're not that bad, but I added a recolored Rockies logo. The jerseys bring a modernized stance on the famous jerseys from the Stanley Cup eras, utilizing the Rocky Mountain imagery in a new way. The 3rd jersey is a way to connect with the previous 3rd jerseys of the organization, while bringing in a throwback-ish feel. Feedback is appreciated! Thanks! Primary Logo: Secondary Logo: Secondary Logo: Home Jersey: Away Jersey: 3rd Jersey:
  20. Colorado Avalanche Rebrand

So here I am again. I don't post very many concepts on here because I can only use .svg templates and they are hard to find but I found some I really like, huge shout out to the now not very active gingerbreadmann for the templates. Anyway, let's get to the actual uniforms: Here is the home: I really like the mountain striping so I tried to make a simpler form of that on the bottom. The CA logo font is Richardson Brand Accelerator and the NOB and numbers are Pointer Sans (a Conrad font, but aren't they all here?). Thanks for reading!
  21. Colorado Rockies concept

I tried to give it a western feel with the font and the logo shaped like a belt buckle
  22. Colorado Avalanche Redesign

Here's a redesign I made a while back for the Avs. I think it's better than their current set, and feedback is appreciated. Home: Away: Alternate 1 (Vote!): Alternate 2 (Vote!): Vote for which alternate looks better in the poll above!
  23. Barring a Cleveland-esque mega leak, new Colorado football uniforms are to be released this Friday. In the meantime, the Buffs throwing us a few teasers leading up to the big unveiling: Clean road jersey. CHECK. Golden dome. CHECK. Logo unchanged. CHECK. So far so good. No need to hit the panic button quite yet.
  24. MLS Jersey Concepts (NYC FC Alternate Update)

Hello all, Today I have for you two MLS jersey concepts, my favorite MLS team, the New England Revolution, and the Colorado Rapids. I will not be doing the entire MLS it might just be a few teams here and there. A big thanks goes out to Raysox for sending me his soccer template. C&C is appreciated as always. First up is the New England Revolution: The Revs jerseys right now aren't horrible, but they could be much better. The home jersey is pretty standard for Adidas. It features a blue base with white shoulder stripes and a white chest stripe. The away jersey is white with red shoulder stripes, and a blue and red sash. Both jerseys include the New England flag the English Colonists used in the American Revolution. Next is the Colorado Rapids: The Colorado Rapids in my opinion have the blandest jerseys in all of the MLS. For them I paid homage to the Rocky Mountains in both the home and away jerseys. The home jersey features 2 stripes coming from the shoulder to a peak on the sublimated mountain on the bottom of the jersey. The away jersey feature the mountain that is fully visible. The mountain on the jersey is actually the mountain that is featured in the Rapids logo. On both the home and away jersey, the back collar has the number 96 on it. The 96 represents the year the Rapids were established, 1996.
