  1. I've never been a big fan at all of the templated system that the Super Bowl is now using, and I've long tried to think up ideas for alternative logos ever since the system began. Especially with the Super Bowl turning 50, I wanted to come up with something that I felt was a bit cleaner, more colorful, and right for the occasion. Over the last week especially I've been sketching and cranking out ideas, and finally have something I'd like to show here. I'm still very much a beginner when it comes to designing and have a lot to learn, but feel good about this concept and am eager to hear what you all think about it. I have here the primary logo, as well as some uniform applications; both on a template as well as in action (as best portrayed as I can get with paint.net, that is :P) First, the primary logo. I wanted a simple, classic, straightforward look; so I went with a simple shield-and-banner style, with a few parts that are representative. The front of the banner is a neutral black (to allow the banner ends to stand out), with the red end on the left representing the AFC, and the blue to the right, the NFC. The shield itself is gold, representative of the 50th anniversary, and the three stripes at the end are a nod to the host team (49ers) as a means of being representative to the location: And next, the uniform applications, which are self explainatory: *uniforms courtesy of sportslogos.net I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts, C&C is greatly appreciated! I'm thinking of tinkering around with some stadium decor ideas, but those ideas are still very much in infancy, so I'll be trying to brainstorm and develop those in the meantime. Thanks for viewing!
  2. Denver Broncos logo concept

I don't post a whole lot of concepts here but I came across a Broncos logo concept I had never finished and started working on it (I had posted the previous ones on the forums, though). One more closely resembles the current color scheme, though I don't know how well the exact shades compare, and the other is based off of the previous color scheme. I don't know if I would add silver into the scheme or just limit it to the logo, but I'll probably come up with some uniforms here in the next few days. Don't get too excited, they'll probably just be based on their previous uniform set with the current uniforms number set. Comments and criticisms welcome!
  3. Before we get started, here's some quick guidelines and background: The one helmet rule carries over to an extent. One helmet is used for the home and road uniform. However, an alternate helmet may only be paired with an alternate, throwback, or League-event uniform. I'll show examples later on in the series. Alternate, Throwback, and League-event (such as Color Rush) uniforms will be posted after all teams have been posted. Up to three pairs of pants may be used by each team. Some teams will be using different templates. It's mainly because I created my new Nike Vapor Untouchable template with about 5 teams remaining in my series. Afterwards, I began moving some teams over to the NVU template, but it became such a hassle, so I said screw it. Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Tennessee, Washington, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and San Diego all have this template. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Without further ado, let us begin with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Notes: The biggest changes are the helmet and the numbers. The helmet is a return to the old one that that the team wore before the rebrand because the current is hot garbage. Other than that, a simple switch to a more classic striping pattern replaces... whatever it is they call striping now. Teal is the home color. White and black pants are the main options with teal making an appearance once or twice a year. The pants stripe is the same as the jersey striping and is cut similarly to the current pants striping.
  4. Denver Broncos new logo for 2016-17?

I was talking with a friend yesterday who recently worked at a Denver sports merchandising company and he told me that the Broncos are going to be using a new logo for the 2016-17 season. The logo he was describing is a cross between the old "D" with a horse coming out of it, and the current Bronco head that was created in '97. He wouldn't go into any specifics as to how he knew this, but he told me it was going to happen. I know that new unis have been rumored from Paul Lukas, but I haven't heard about this logo change. I found a concept made by our own member Ren69 from 2013 that it is probably closest to, if this logo change does happen: -Great job by Ren69 btw. Anyone else heard anything about this?
  5. I just posted this on my blog, but in case you don't want to go over there to read it, I'll copy-and-paste it here: ...I threw together a few simple graphics for the final four NFL teams in this weekend's Conference Championship games. These display the four teams' (Denver, New England, San Francisco and Seattle) primary marks using PANTONE's Color of the Year for 2014 - 18-3224 "Radiant Orchid". I utilized the "TPX" substrate - which reflects textile colors on paper, and converted these logos into proper grayscale format, and then applied various tints of Radiant Orchid to the individual color elements to produce the end-result. Here are the four teams in tints of 18-3224 TPX "Radiant Orchid": Just a silly thing I put together for the heck of it. Mindless, but mostly an exercise in recoloring existing logos...
  6. I was watching SportsCenter this morning and Peyton Manning was being interviewed. He had a ginormous BUICK patch on his jersey. Looks awful and out of place, but, what advertisement wouldn't. According to this article, this started last year: http://southstandsdenver.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=2278:peyton-manning-apparently-plays-for-the-denver-buicks&Itemid=150 Thank goodness Goodell hasn't allowed advertising patches on their game jerseys. I'd have to burn my eyeballs.
  7. College to Pro Designs(Vols)

I am new to posting on the board, but have been a long time fan. I am a huge Tennessee Vols fan, and recently 6 former Vols made the Pro Bowl(Peyton Manning, Arian Foster, Eric Berry, Jason Witten, Jerod Mayo, and Dustin Colquitt) and I plan on making designs for all except Dustin Colquitt(Since he is a punter). So without further ado here is the most famous Vol: Peyton Manning Comments and Criticisms are welcome, but I am not sure if ill go back make changes. Just depends on my schedule.
