  1. New Balance / Majestic Mashup

Majestic Athletic, the former official uniform supplier of Major League Baseball, was too quiet. So someone louder grabbed the mic. In 2019 Under Armour takes over the official MLB uniform contract, an honor they (probably rightfully) stole from Majestic Athletic. How could a smaller brand like Majestic have competed with a sports manufacturing behemoth? Well, I'd have started with one of my favorite dumb marketing buzzwords -- brand extension. One way Majestic could extend their brand is by aligning with a partner who can help elevate their brand. In this case, New Balance -- a rising player in the MLB cleat game -- would be a great partner to help create a custom cleat that leverages Majestic's proprietary FlexBase mesh material, which is what all official on-field MLB uniforms are made of. Not only would this give Majestic and their uniform technology more exposure, but it creates something new, unique, and tangible for fans to care about -- and is a huge revenue opportunity in the process. 2. New York Giants\Rangers Uniforms

Dear Admins? I am not sure if this is where I can request and update of these two teams but most of the other team pages are complete with their uniform history on this site. For The Giants all uniforms are missing from 1925-2004 as well and the alternative uniforms. I have some of these if you need any help with this. For The Rangers all uniforms are missing from 1926-1975 as well the alternative uniforms and the special event uniforms. Again I have some of these if you need any help with this. Thank you, Mike
  3. New NY Giants Uniforms

Hey, I find the Giants current uniforms to be, while classic, rather bland. So, I decided to revamp the uniforms: Both uniforms are based on the 1980s-90s Giants uniforms with a few changes: 1) The white pants currently on the Giants alternate home uniform will be implemented on the new unifoms 2) The socks on the away uniform will be red 3) An all-new, matte finished helmet with the "NY" logo featuring a new red border and new blue Lemme know what y'all think and provide suggestions!
  4. The MetLife Stadium Apocalypse

So this is more of a curiosity question that I...thought would go here, but I'm not entirely sure. Feel free to move if it belongs somewhere else. In case you haven't already seen it, WSJ posted a video online a few years back detailing the process for changing MetLife Stadium from Giants to Jets. It's a fairly time consuming ordeal, taking roughly two full work days. In other words, not a process that can be completed overnight. So my question is...if in some alternate reality the Giants and Jets both hosted a playoff game on the same weekend, what do you think they would do in regards to stadium decor? Would they find some way to hurriedly change end zone panels inbetween the game, or would they just go with some kind of neutral color "New York" wordmark? I do know both teams hosted wild card games in the playoffs after the 1985 season, but I'm not having any luck finding pictures of what they did then...
  5. NFL Playoff Wallpapers

Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.
  6. Giants Away Jersey Concept

Oh look, another Giants jersey concept. What's new? No but seriously, here's my take on the Giants' road jersey.
  7. MLB Tweaks (Final Logos)

Hey everyone, For a while I've enjoyed to think about what kind of changes I would make to uniforms across MLB, just being into design as I am. I've always wanted to make a thread of my own here after seeing so many great ones, but never thought I had the computer skills, nor did I really think hand-drawns would show up great online. After my Twins concept though, I got to thinking and decided to at least try to flesh it out into an entire MLB-wide series. Things are probably gonna slow down quite a bit from me once school starts back up, but at least this is worth starting. This series is just gonna be my fixes to things across each of the uniforms, I'm gonna save major redesigns for maybe a future series... So here it goes starting off, naturally, with the Arizona Diamondbacks: Logos -Brick red, Black, and Teal are now the main colors. It's a good time for Arizona to move on to a more modern scheme. -The teal has been adjusted a bit, it's a little greener to look more like a color inspired by Native Navajo jewelry rather than Tron electric blue. -Caps are both the A logo, just because I'm personally not a fan of the D snake. -Both caps have the diamond snakeskin pattern on the brim to still achieve the two-tone look. -Sand-ish colors are still present in the identity, as the home is now cream, and the away is full-on the sand color. Uniforms -I like the way the 'D-backs' wordmark looks, besides the fact that it says 'D-backs'. I had to compromise and put the 'A' on the home. -The diamond pattern is on the back of all jerseys, which makes sense for a team named the Diamondbacks. -No pattern on the pants. It isn't really necessary. -I decided to keep the cut piping, but cut it at an angle on the jerseys, like the pants. The colors are also now teal/red/teal on the jerseys because I feel that looks more Arizona and less Tron. -As said before, the away is now sand. I didn't hate the concept of dark gray, just didn't think it fit the team, especially with teal. -Snake patch is on all jerseys. -Both alternates can be home and road. -Some may not like this, but all accessory elements are interchangeable. Things like hats, belts, and socks can be worn in different combinations with different jerseys. So, of course, let me know what you all think! All comments/criticisms welcome!
  8. So, now that I got the Miami Marlins off my chest, I figured I should tweak the other teams that have been bothering me too. Nothing bothered me as much as the Marlins, but it doesn't take much to aggravate me...sadly. The next team I wanted to put a paint brush to was San Diego. Like most, I feel they should be going back to the brown and yellow colors. I on the other hand want to put more emphasis on the brown and keep the yellow to a minimum. I have no issue with their current word scripts and uniform style, I just feel the brown and yellow would look better. So with that in mind, here is my version of the Padres. The away has a grey that has very slight orange tint to it, just to give it some warmth with the brown and yellow. Then there is the Home alternate. The big trend of having the logo over the heart/left side is not missed on the Padres. I'm currently working on a brown top alternate for the road as well as a new main logo that will combine a few era's logos with the swinging friar as the center piece. How does that look? C+C appreciated.
