    Houston Rockets - Nike Concept - C&C ?

Just wanted some feedback on the direction of this concept. It's still incomplete... Don't mind the watermark it wont be there when I post the final versions. Once I feel like I've got this design down I plan to make 4 sets (2 icon, 1 association, 1 classic). C&C is appreciated on just about every part of this uniform, but rather than just taking suggestions I'd like to have discussions and try to find the best solutions. Also, I'm using my logo as a placeholder sponsor. I'd like to hear what you guys think the Rockets might actually go with.

    Houston Rockets concept

This is my second post and I thought that I might put out an idea for the Houston Rockets. This concept includes a primary logo, a set of home and road jerseys as well as a road alternate. C & C appreciated. Primary Logo: Home Jersey: Road Jersey: Road Alternate Jersey: Thanks for looking.
  3. I've had something special sitting on my computer for a while, and I'm glad to share this with y'all: Blending retro elements with today's design, my concept modernizes the Rockets logo of its past champions. The alternate logos emphasize the team's nickname, with a "Lone Star" mark, highlighting the state of Texas, and the other showing the abstract rocket orbiting in a basketball seam pattern. The wordmark is a italicized version of Big Noodle Titling. Any C&C is appreciated.
  4. I've always had a soft spot for the Rocket's "pajamas" look of the late 1990s, mostly because I cheered for those teams. But I thought that the navy-and-red era at least tried much harder (thought it certainly often failed) to evoke the "Rockets" nickname and space exploration's association with the city of Houston much more than the older (let's be honest) generic, blander red-and-yellow days did. So I've attempted a (very rough and early) attempt to go back in time and reinterpret that old take on the Rockets identity. Right now, I've got home and road uniforms, with an alternate logo (based on their old one). I've tweaked the colors, kept the beveling on the type, and treated the pinstripes like the modern version of the Hornets have: shifting them to the side panels to keep the rest of the uniform clean. There are lots of gradients, but I think that a team with the nickname "Rockets" can make them work: I think about the fading contrails of fuel boosters and the fade from the Earth's atmosphere into space. I apologize for the template; it's one I made years ago, and it was the only usable one I had close at hand. If anyone can send me a better/more modern one, I'd love it. But I'd love some C+C on what I've got so far.

    Houston Rockets Concept

Last week or so I dropped a Rays concept y'all seemed to like so this week I'd like to post a new set. It's rebranding time for the Houston Rockets! First up the new Primary Logo The main goal here was to put a physical rocket in the logo with the fuselages making an H. The colors are lifted from the classic 1972-1995 Rockets logo and the circle background is a nod to that logo. New partial logo New Jersey Wordmarks Tell me what you think!
  6. Hello everyone! I did these concepts a couple a years ago just for fun (first time doing concepts on a computer). Lately I've decided to design some new concepts for the Rockets and perhaps some other teams. Before I begin with my new concepts I would like to have your input on theses old concepts but also I'd like your advice: how to execute better regarding stripes and outlines of texts? Are there any "hidden" rules? what software to use? I currently use Photoshop and thats mainly because I suck with vector graphic... I also did this logo (photoshop): Thanks for a great site!
