  1. With the roar before the 24 beginning in a couple of days, I'd figure now is a good time to start up a new open wheel discussion. The open wheel saga is still upon us since Mercedes hasn't named a replacement for Nico Rosberg after his unexpected retirement. This truly has been an shocking yet interesting off season but the reports are that Bottas is looking to be the replacement while Massa returns for one more season for Williams. Plus we have Ganassi switching back to Honda in Indycar while Josef Newgarden is with Penske so it could he Newgarden fighting with fellow teammate & defending series champion Simon Pagenaud could make for a good championship battle. Then you have the other racing series such as IMSA, WEC, World Challenge etc... Plus with the new GT3 & GT4 cars coming in should make for some really good racing. I'm hoping for a excellent endurance year despite the WEC losing Audi.
  2. Welcome to 2015! With the Rolex 24 at Daytona starting later this month, Formula E in the middle of its season (with the next race being next Saturday in Buenos Aires), and F1 and IndyCar starting a couple of months from now, let get this thread started with some racing news: -Formula E and ex-F1 driver Franck Montagny tests positive for a cocaine derivative. I think it is a shame of what has happened. I hope he had learned his lesson (whether he gets kicked out or not). -V8 Supercars has a new logo for 2015 (since this is a logo site, I thought it would be appropriate): The old logo: Thoughts on the news, logo, and the new year of racing?
  3. Well, with Dakar & the roar before the 24 starting up, I'd figured it was time to start a new thread with 2014 seasons slowly beginning. I figured it was time to start up a new thread for the new seasons coming upon us. Although it has started off in a somber note due to Michael Schumacher's accident (get well Schumi). Here's some ideas of what to look forward to in the year.. Formula 1: - The new regulations, how will that affect the racing? - Will Vettel get his 5th straight? - How will drivers do with their new teams? (I'm hoping Kimi dominates but that's me.) IndyCar: - Ganassi with Chevy, Andretti with Honda, will it help? - Is it Will Power's time? - Will Helio make up for last year or will some new stand up? Everything else: - Will Webber & Porsche finally stop the dominance that is Audi? - Will Toyota finally take the steps needed to be considered a threat? - The newly formed United States Sportscar Championship, will it grow? - V8 Supercars now has 5 manufactures, any chance it will grow? Well, there's a lot going on this year & I want to start off with this.... This is allegedly Ferrari's LeMans Prototype
