  1. Jacksonville Jaguars Tweaks

So I saw the rumors that Jacksonville is coming to their senses and getting new uniforms, which undoubtedly means that the world's ugliest helmet will soon be no more. Ugly bucket aside, I personally think that the Jags are a few tweaks away from actually having a decent uniform set. So I decided to layout what I think those tweaks should be: I think that the Jaguars currently look good from the neck down, so there aren't a whole lot of changes to be made but there are some. Let's break them down shall we? Helmet - Do I really need to introduce the incumbent? I changed the disasterpiece that was the helmet to one from the past. I brought back the old black helmet that looks teal in the right light. Kept the jaguar logo on the side, added the JAGS shield logo to the back of the helmet. IMO, it's a decent logo, but doesn't need to take up chest space on the jerseys. Jerseys - The jerseys as they are now really aren't bad to me, in fact I think that they take too much heat from how much the helmet sucks. First off, as I mentioned above, the JAGS patch moves to the helmet. Those weird shoulder designs get taken off and the "claw mark" if you want to call it that, gets moved inside the collar. The teal jersey becomes the home jersey again with the appropriate white numbers. I like the number font, so I kept it. Added the JAGUARS wordmark to the chest and the primary logo to the sleeves so they weren't blank any more. Pants - I didn't change much. I moved the jaguar head from the side of the pants to the front right. It feels cleaner to me. I knocked around the idea of a different pant design, but nothing else really seemed to fit with the design. Socks - Teal and Black. No need for anything on them. And since the NFL is keeping Color Rush around: So as cool as the gold CR uniform was for them (IMO, I didn't hate it completely), I went with teal as the base color since it's more unique of a color to them than black is. So for the first time in team history, teal pants would be worn. Let me know what you guys think.
  2. I believe Gupti first brought this news in the 2017 NFL thread. Credit to him for putting it here first. I have just typed it up and included a few links to Twitter threads. According to Twitter account @madebytim, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be changing uniforms next offseason. The current talk is that this information is being disseminated during stadium tours, although there is no current official word. This is the 5th year of the current set so a change is possible. A quick rundown of the rumors indicate that Tom Coughlin has some significant input into the process, with the knowledge that he wants something "more traditional," does not like the emphasis on the gold and wants more teal in the design, and that this will be a complete change of the look. There are quite possibly some elements that could stay (the current away uniform is a pretty incredible update of the classic away uniform), including the "JAGS shield." One thing that is pretty much a sure change is the helmet. Both Tim of the @madebytim Twitter and Alfie Crow of Big Cat Country, the Jags' SB Nation site, have said they were sitting on the news. Again, nothing official but exciting to get rid of that helmet.
  3. Jacksonville Jaguars Concept

My idea for a Jacksonville Jags redesign, if they ever have another one. Tell me what else you guys would like to see I have made. I've made the Seahawks, Bucs, Bills, Browns, Steelers, etc. And as always, these are more than likely not final designs.
  4. There are very few uniforms in the NFL that I can actually say I disapprove of. However, there are a few teams that I think need to do something a little different. So, I will not post full uniforms because some of these teams I post only need to add these helmets to their current uniforms in my perfect world. So without further babbling, I present the first helmet: I find nothing wrong with the current Jerseys and pants of the Jags, but I hate their ugly mediocre helmet. When they wore the helmets last year that changed from black to teal in the light, I was happy as could be. I love those helmets, so I thought I would create a design for one that turns to a brighter teal when in the light but it features their new logo. Simple but a great design.
  5. My attempt at fixing the Jaguars

This is my first concept I have actually completed and been willing to share on here. It's for my hometown Jags, aka .. the worst uniform in sports (at least in the NFL). I don't hate the new uniform but the helmet is enough to drag down the rest of the set to forever alone status. I'll be keeping parts og the new set and tweaking others to try to make the best of a bad situation. Jersey: kept the claw marks on the shoulders, but tweaked themmoved the tv numbers to the sleeves to fill in the empty spacekept number and nob font because I think it works well on the uniforms (thanks to Conrad for making the font available)teal home, white away, black alt ... like it should bePants: Tried to use as much color as possible after their last two sets have failed in their minimalist mono color schemesWent back and forth a lot on the piping colorA lot of people wont like these I am sureHelmet: Started out matte black fan for the Jags .. but the gold just worked so much betteris the darker gold from the new logostripe comes to a point, forming another "cat scratch" claw mark that I couldn't get the right perspective on in the rearview so I left it off... and here we go ...
