  1. A few months ago the Jags came out with a new uniform set. The Jags are my second fave team behind the Bucs and I was curious about them. They were revealed and had very mixed reception. I decided to save my judgment until I've seen more of it. I may do this with the Titans who also got a big overhaul at some other point. After letting it marinate and doing research on what NIKE and the Jags organization wanted from these I've come to a solid conclusion. My opinion may change when I see them on field but for now I feel I've seen enough of them Helmet- The helmet is amazing. It is simple but looks beautiful. I'm glad they didn't go matte because I really think matte black helmets look kind of cheap compared to colored ones. overall 10/10 Jersey- So I am very mixed about these jersey sets. On one hand I appreciate the clean look but on the other hand it just looks so boring. I don't think clean and boring are synonymous but these don't invoke any feeling out of me. Everything about these just screams 'fine'. The numbers are okay. I prefer the old font but these are okay I think they look a bit too wide but it is serviceable. There is very little detail to them to talk about. I don't mind the tiny jaguar head on the chest but it also looks kind of awkward. I don't mind patches but with teams like the Steelers or the Jets the patches look much more natural. Here with the jaguars it doesn't work for me. The JAGS patch honestly looked much better as a patch and here it felt like cheap NFL branding. I do prefer it over a big wordmark above the numbers though. The numbers have embezzled trim that matches the color of the jerseys but it isn't noticeable from afar. I also think the cuffs of the sleeves look rather strange with the colored tips. It is even stranger as close up they have these claw marks but they aren't noticeable so it is whatever 5/10 Pants and socks- Again not much to talk about very plain. The back of the pants have this weird teal half stripe for some reason. The socks do look nice with the teal stripe at the bottom but that is it 5/10 So my final grade is a 6.6/10. It is an okay look for now but it definitely feels like an over correction of the previous. They are kind of disappointing especially with all the talk of tradition and makes it more annoying when you watch the documentary on them. Some direct quotes from it 'We have three players who should be in the HoF... And with these new uniforms we want people to think back to these players' 'The teal is the heart of the brand' 'The uniforms are simple, bold, traditional and distinct' It just feels like they are saying one thing and doing another. They want to essentially combine the past and present but gives a look that is nothing like the old school design. They say teal is the heart of the brand but make black the primary. They say they are simple, bold, traditional and distinct but only one of those fits the description. I honestly feel the Jags should embrace crazy designs but also be good. They are a 90s team with a unique color pallet it is kind of silly to act like they are a founding NFL team. Teams like the Giants can have simple uniforms because they are an old school team the Jags aren't. I understand the reason but I just feel they went from one extreme to another. Now how would I fix them? - Use the old font. It looked good and fit the branding. It is also basically an updated version of the older rounded font - Have gold and teal/black trim on the number - Remove the jaguar head from the chest and move it to the front of the pants - Perhaps add some kind of claw mark striping on the sleeve caps and pants. Maybe even introduce an updated version of their full body jaguar logo - Have teal be the primary I just personally feel these uniforms are a decent start but take themselves way too seriously. I saw someone on reddit do an analyst on the old set and he said the biggest problem is they lacked an identity. To me these uniforms have even less identity and persists with the problem. Honestly the old set was just a few tweaks from being perfect just use a full black helmet and remove some of the excess stuff and they'd have been amazing In summary they are perfectly fine and should definitely add onto them in the future and embrace the teal and gold instead of black and white
  2. Shad Khan In Deal to Buy Wembley Stadium. Just when you thought the NFL Franchise Merry Go Round had stopped for a while... new speculation emerges. It seems unlikely to me, but has Khan given up on Jacksonville and is he willing to take the London plunge?
  3. Ok, so my jaguars, have unveiled new uniforms, and lets just say, they're a little bland. I thought ok, they could be worse, but could be wayyyyy better. So here's (in my mind) how the simplistic jaguars should look. I dropped the gold because that's what they wanted in the design they dropped. I included all 9 possible combinations of jersey and pants, obviously the 1 helmet rule is in effect and personally i think a satin finish (main shell of the seahawks) would look best with it. I decided to just leave the shoulders plain, but if its really an issue in the league i'd add plain shoulder numbers. SO HERE ARE THE BORING-LOOK JAGUARS (yes please don't tell me they're a little plain, that was the point) The home and main look: teal on black color rush (teal on teal): the home alt (teal on white) (which id hope they never wear): The alternate to be worn twice a year (black on black): the alternate that looks funny but might work against the right team (black on teal): an alternate that i really dont like but added for the sake of showing all the combos (black on white): the primary road uni (4 games) (white on black): the secondary road uni (2 games) (white on teal): the uni to wear once a year when we play a dark colored team such as the ravens or raiders: (2 games)(white on white): Let me know if you like these more than the unveiled uniforms, because that was the goal. and yes theyre plain but C&C still appreciated!
  4. Hey guys, while I had the chance I just wanted to show you guys some quick concepts I made to try and improve on two of the latest Nike redesigns in the Titans and Jaguars. I personally wasn't much of a fan of either redesign this time around, even though I generally like what Nike's done a little more than most. Anyway, here are the changes I would make. -For the Titans, I kept the sword-shaped shoulder yoke, I felt that was a nice-looking update to the overall style. I transferred that shape over to the pants stripe as well, and removed any "beveling" in the set, along with both shades of gray. Since the team apparently never even considered a white helmet, I decided columbia blue would be preferable over navy. I also used the much-beloved social media font, thanks to @Conrad.. The navy alt is shown with navy pants, but most of the time it would be worn with columbia pants. For the Jaguars, my design ended up looking really similar to @BucsBoy02's most recent design as well as the design on Reddit. It goes to show this most recent iteration has some good design ideas, but something just felt missing. So I went back to the previous number font, added gold back into the scheme more, and used sharp angles as a design motif. I didn't really mind the black numbers on the teal jersey, but since the intention for the Jags was to go back to tradition I used white numbers, and redesignated teal as home. I made the numbers teal on the black alt, I feel with outlines it could still work. Thanks for checking this out.
  5. These are the uniforms that should have been unveiled today to say the least.. HOME Quote "These are your identity. These show what you want to represent yourself as".- Kong Tom Home: I wanted these to look fierce, tough, and sleek. Give feedback on how they look. Thanks ALTERNATE Quote: "Show your 2nd side" - Kong Tom Alternate: I wanted to show the precision of football. The between the lines, tackling, and methodicalness. Which one do you like better? Honest feedback is always appreciated.
  6. Jaguars Concept

So I thought about posting this concept for about a week but held off until we saw the new uniforms. After seeing them unveiled, I'm extremely underwhelmed. They only have gold in the logo, no pants stripes, and number are single-colored. Quite frankly, I think they oversimplified. My concept uses some past parts of their uniforms that I really like. Let's talk about them. - Solid black helmet, which the team did, in fact, return to - Old number font that was used from 2000-2008. - Old pants stripes Now I didn't want to make a carbon copy of their old uniforms, so I went with IMO a criminally underused football jersey design with vertical shoulder stripes. It's a unique look that doesn't get used enough, but it makes these uniforms modern without going over the edge. Hope you guys enjoy. Let me know if you'd like to see more combinations too and I'll probably post them.
  7. Jaguars Concept

I was playing around with the idea of making the sides/shoulders of the jersey look like teeth about to come down on a bite. Used the current colors, logo and the their throwback font. I'm thinking the black set would be used as a monochrome alternate. Single color helmet with a larger logo. Home Away Alternate Edit: Changed the Template a little bit, cut the side panels shorter. Also had the idea of switching out the Black for a darker shade of Teal. Home Away
  8. Finally got some time to mess around with these hockey uniform templates. I thought I'd try doing hockey uniform versions of the 4 final teams in the NFL playoffs. Never did a mash up before so thought I'd try it out. Wanted to see what the thoughts were. It's the Patriots, Jaguars, Vikings and Eagles. I took various parts of the design from elements of the football uniform, IE: Pant shell stripes from pants, socks from socks or sleeve striping and jersey elements influenced by the elements on the football jerseys. Really enjoyed doing these and experimenting a bit. I didn't change/adjust any of the team logos. I just used the versions that the teams use in the NFL. Hopefully this works.
  9. Jaguar High School Logo

A concept for my old high school. They never used a jaguar logo, they only used a paw print copied straight from Clemson. C&C wanted
  10. 2017-2018 NFL Concepts

Imgur Album Links: Saints Steelers Cowboys Chargers Rams Falcons Packers Jaguars Patriots Eagles With the NFL Playoffs starting today, I decided to mock up some ideas I had for a three NFL Teams: the Saints, Steelers, and Cowboys. I loved the color rush uniforms for both the Saints and Steelers; ideas from both are implemented in these concepts. For the Saints, the concept basically is their color rush; there is no reason they shouldn't adopt that look full time. I simplified their helmet logo a bit and brought back the Louisiana state outline logo as a chest patch. In addition to the white jerseys taken from the color rush set, the concept includes a black jersey with gold-white-gold-white-gold stripes as well as a gold jersey with b-w-b-w-b stripes. An alternate white helmet idea is also shown; it would only be used if the NFL were to lift the one helmet rule, obviously.
