  1. Here are the teams Arizona: Wow!!! I started my NFL series that I'LL TOTALLY finish!!!! Atlanta: That new logo is trash because it has red highlights! I can fix that! (On a serious note, death to piping) Baltimore: I feel like this is an even bigger F-U to the city of Cleveland Buffalo: (EDIT) I had a stupid quip here but I accidentally made the Giants uniform that everyone makes on here so I think I'm going to take the lazy route (as one does for an average NFL series) and reuse everything here for NYG Carolina: Was it too creative?? (rhetorical, it was obviously yes) Chicago: Okay but seriously though, am I getting too original in my concepts? Cincinnati: Okay but like block numbers really add to the creativity of this one Cleveland: Sooooooooooo, like, why exactly do y'all care about the "tradition" of a 20 year old team? @raysox is older than the Browns, I should be allowed to go crazy for one of these. Dallas: I'm bored at this point. Denver: Honestly, like, who needs originality? the old sets were fine, slap on their current navy and BOOM! original content! Detroit: Lmao nvm no one cares about this team (sans I assume @drdougfresh and I think @ZionEagle. Correct me if I'm wrong) Green Bay: Why exactly were they using Reebok fabrics again? That is a serious question, someone please answer. Houston: So like, the Oilers, but not. (EDIT: Never mind, it's just the Oilers) Indianapolis: Jacksonville: I'm not even lying, I genuinely hate y'all for loving double outlines and hating the new Jags logo. Kansas City: this is the second time I had to create my own brush in illustrator, i.e. I'm working too hard on this. LA Chargers: This. LA Rams: you know what's great? the ability to copy a previous set off of gridiron uniforms and passing it off as an original design. Miami: I'm missing out on some pretty iconic striping patterns in the name of consistency. I hate that. Minnesota: Joke patent pending New England: Oh? You don't like the way the 1 is serifed? You sure? Shut up and deal with it. New Orleans: should I make a Mardi Gras alt? (EDIT: Let's try this again.) NY Giants: So like my Bills concept, but not? P.S. here's an alt. NY Jets: Please help I left my phone in a friend's car
  2. New Lions uniform... (1st!!)

Let me be the first to jump in with the inevitable "Here's my take on the lions" post... Not new, but I'm still happy with it.
  3. NFL Playoff Wallpapers

Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.
  4. Anyone know who did these edits?

I don't know if this is the right place(so feel to move it to the proper section) but there's these cool edits of Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson in their new uniforms and I would like to know who did them and see if it was done to some of the rookies. It was posted on their Instagram. It's called 'Process Realized-Chicago' (or something like that) edit: here is a'shawn's Here is jaran's
  5. I figured I would make this into one thread so here it goes... I love the AHL as much as I do the NHL so here are some defunct AHL teams of the past I created. Hamilton Canucks (1992-1994) Saint John Flames (1993-2003) Washington Lions (1941-1943/1947-1949) (For more info on the Washington Lions check here)... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Lions More AHL teams of the past to come soon... Comments and critique wanted.
  6. Lion Concept Logo

Some of you may remember I made a thread a while back with a logo concept for my high school. I felt the direction I went with this version was different enough to warrant its own thread. I want to get some professional eyes on this one, since I'm seriously considering calling up the school with this: Updated below (Click to enlarge) Here's the Behance with (most of) the rest of the project: https://www.behance.net/gallery/23664451/Lutheran-High-School (This was all from version one so its pretty outdated) As you can see, I went with a mountain lion approach, as that's something our school is more or less synonymous with. The lightning bolt on the back of the neck is a nod to our school's old nickname, the Denver Lutheran Lights; I want to keep that there for sure. I'm really trying to separate this from the University of Houston's cougar logo, so any help in that area will be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm not sure what to do with the eye at this point either. C&C is welcome!
  7. Detroit Lions Concept

Hello everyone I'm finally back on the site again, I've been running into some bad luck lately but everything seems too be in cruise control right now. So anyway I was watching the Lions-Vikings game today and I thought how cool would it be if the Lions would merge there Barry Sanders era uniforms and color scheme in with the new Lions look, so here this is. -Basically the biggest change was that I dropped Black from the color scheme -Kept main logo except without the Black outline -I brought back the old Helmet, Sleeve, and Pant Striping -Kept the new Lions Font -Kept the Lions wordmark on the uniform -And I brought back the Blue pants Oh yeah also tell me how the Nike Mach Speed Template looks! Now I know there are gonna be some people that will not like the Monochromatic Blue's but I decided too throw them in anyway.
  8. CFL Concepts (Input needed)

I'll admit it, I enjoy the CFL, but I feel that some of the uniforms look God-awful. By no means am I saying that I like the adds, I am including them for authenticity's sake. First up, we have the Toronto Argonauts. Their current uniform set is basically perfect, so I didn't want to change much. C&C is greatly appreciated
  9. Detroit Lions Concept Branding

Hi everyone, I decided to do a total rebrand of the Detroit Lions as if "bubbles" and the current branding never existed. I did it more for fun and as a challenge to myself to come up with a full branding system. I warn those who are Lions fans that this doesn't keep much of what is currently in the system or on the uniforms. It definitely has a less traditional feel to it. I mean no disrespect to the current branding or the traditions from which it came from. That being said, let's go into the project. I based my logo concept off of a 70's profile Detroit Lions Logo that I found on this very site, and made an updated version of it. I thought the profile head would look great for the helmets and be able to be used in many different applications. I then thought to do a front view to be able to be used on the uniforms, and additional logos can help merchandising. I based the typography on a black letter style since the tigers use blackletterI then did the unthinkable and darkened the Lions blue and added a surprise color into the uniforms. I felt that the orange could symbolize fire: the fires of industry found in Detroit, the rebirth of a team from the ashes etc. I also thought the new color could help be a driver for new merchandise lines. For the Uniforms I included watermarks on the shoulderpads of tire patterns representing the motor city, and a grid of the city on the silver uniform.I then decided to extend the series to include a stationary system for their corporate offices. I hope yall like them, and I'm open to your feedback. Thanks, enjoy Profile primary Profile full body front facing logo Lions script Lions Helmet Uniform front Uniform front with Lion patch Uniform back Full Uniform full uniform silver Lions Stationary Sorry forgot to say I used templates from Frasier Davidson for the helmet and uniform shot

  11. This is a concept ive been workning on this past week hoping to get some c&c on it to see if these actually look good. I know some people dont like black on the lions as they perfer the more traditional look but i wanted to see what you guys had to say. I went with a black helmet with gradient stripes. On the uniform i tried to get the numbers to look like the material the ducks use.
  12. Lions Logo concept *Update v.4

Hey guys. I was doodling around in class earlier in the week and it eventually evolved into this. I was wondering what you guys thought, and where I could improve it before I end up putting it into inkscape.
