  1. Los Angeles clippers concept

I made a concept of Los Angeles Clippers old logo. I wish they would bring it back. But have some cleaner jerseys. and another tone of the colors. I wanted the colors to remind more of sailers ship crew and the ocean.
  2. New LA Clippers logo (prototype)

As many (most?) of you know, the (vast) majority of people think the new/current Los Angeles Clippers logo sucks... and for good reason. But spontaneously - out of absolutely nowhere - I came up with a brilliant concept. If nobody has thought of this before, I might actually be surprised. (Maybe a little?) Well, check this one out! It's a prototype that exemplifies the best of minimalist design (which is the trend du jour), while incorporating elements that make way too much sense. And yes - the red and blue used here is EXACTLY the same as that used in the current and former Los Angeles Clippers logos. The logo looks like a boat, which is a stand-in for a Clipper ship - the Los Angeles Clippers, which were originally based in the naval city of San Diego (as the San Diego Clippers), borrows its nickname from the aforementioned seafaring vessel. The logo incorporates a stylized "LA" (which you can see here), and the bottom of the logo incorporates a part of a basketball, which is commonplace for NBA logos. (By my count, two-thirds of all NBA teams have this as part of their primary logo.) Not to brag, but I say that this idea is too good to ignore. If someone improves upon this design and it gets some serious press, I've done my job already. Thoughts? Disclaimer: This work, illustrated herein, is an entirely original concept by sj10689 (the original author of this thread); any other logos/designs which have already been created prior to the posting of this comment, that bear any (striking) similarity, or is (almost) exactly the same, constitutes a circumstance which is purely coincidental. Therefore, as sj10689 is verily the creator of this work, which was not in any way inspired by, nor copied from any other pre-existing works, sj10689 assumes full ownership of this property. P.S.: I go by "Adam_Halverson" outside the forums, on sportslogos.net. I reposted this concept on the Los Angeles Clippers primary logo page.
  3. Reign Like Kings - LA Kings Rebrand

In an attempt to both make the Burger King logo look good, and eradicate black from their color scheme, I came up with this Los Angeles Kings set. I know it's out there, but I like it. What do you think?
  4. LA Clippers Rebrand

While recently brainstorming on how to improve the Clips horrendous rebrand, i came up with this idea for a simple clipper ship logo with LAC worked into the sails. C&C appreciated!
  5. Los Angeles Rams Uni Concepts

So, I have been a Rams fan since childhood, and while i drifted away after the 2000 uniform change debacle, I thought with the new stadium and uniform change imminent, that I would post what I have been playing with for a while. Horn on helmet have shading (block, not drop shadow) to give depth. I didn't want to really change the horn, but update it gently. Numbers are throwback, but not standard block number types. My favorite look is the Royal and Gold so I went that avenue Navy/White as well as Royal/White as it appears they are leaning towards losing Gold altogether. As always C&C welcome
  6. Full project here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/47660267/SD2LA-The-Los-Angeles-Breakers The beach. The palm trees. Hollywood. America's game in the City of Angels. Los Angeles deserves an NFL team that's undoubtedly, indigenously LA. With San Diego returning to it's roots after 55 years in San Diego, they are in need of a new brand. This brand should still pay some homage to the Charger days, but with a fresh take on the identity that also embraces LA, in equilibrium. I sought to feature the LA surf, sun and celebrity culture. I think this brand better speaks to the fan base in LA, versus just slapping "Los Angeles" in front of Chargers.
  7. LA Chargers

So I saw someone point out today that the LA Chargers logo that made its rounds today is very sloppy and the alignment on it is atrocious. So in an attempt to fix that I got carried away and ended up just making something a lot better out of it. Enjoy
  8. Los Angeles Chargers tweak

I figured I'd toss my two cents into what will inevitably be a deluge of LA Chargers concepts. Moved the Bolts up to make the A Crossbar and made the bolt angles match the letters. And some powder blue variations because you can't abandon that look.
  9. D'Angelo Russell Logo Concept

Hey everybody! Please check out my logo concept for D'Angelo Russell and let me know what you think, all CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is more than welcome as I see it as a way to improve my process. This is a portfolio piece for my Senior year at the Savannah College of Art & Design and no affiliation with the athlete or Nike. Thank you! https://www.behance.net/gallery/41163175/DAngelo-Russell-Identity-Concept
  10. NBA x NHL Mashup: Dallas Stars

So I've been making logos for a while, but I never really took the time out to try a uniform concept before. After seeing the work of the NFL/NBA mashups from before, I was inspired to do something similar. At the time, the Kings seemed like a great way to start. If this went well, I was thinking about attempting a uniform for the St. Louis Blues, or go the opposite route and make a sweater for the Lakers. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
