  1. Miami Dolphins Logo Concept

I always loved the 72 Dolphins Logo but its very dated obviously so i wanted to update the 72 logo a bit, heres my concept, Thoughts?
  2. Miami Dolphins Redesign

Here's another shot at football design. I took a stab at the Miami Dolphins, who have one of my favorite identities of any team out there. I took this as an excuse to play around with some new templates I stumbled upon, and I like them all a lot. Home Away Alternate Color Rush That's all! Thanks for reading all this!
  3. Miami Marlins Redesign

So, I recently became aware the of the Miami Marlins batting practice logo, and let me just say, I'm a huge fan. Such a big fan that I would like to see it become their full time logo, which is the direction I went in with this concept. I used Brandon Moore's excellent Nike template, which I first became aware of through the Neat-O Gang, and completely eliminated all the extraneous colors from their color scheme, focusing on just orange and sky blue. Home- As with all the jerseys, I used a blue hat and helmet with orange brim and blue socks. The main accent pattern is a simple two toned stripe on the sleeve's edge and the side of the pants, and the #OB stays similar to their current with 3D effect, because you know, Miami. Away- Identical design as the home. Alternate 1- This is the alternate I envision as being their main alternate, worn both at home and on the road. Still very similar to the previous two, with white numbers with orange shadow. Alternate 2- I don't really like when teams have two similar alternates, such as the Marlins do, so I shook up the Orange jersey with the recolored M on the left breast, blue sleeves, and the Flag of Miami as a sleeve patch. I would envision this as being only worn at home, with it having a "Miami Pride" kind of theme. What do you think of this new look for the Miami Marlins? Upgrade, Downgrade, still meh? C&C appreciated as always, thanks!
  4. The sunny state of Florida is home to numerous athletic clubs. They have nine professional clubs in the Big Four leagues of North America. I noticed that every team has a crappy uniform component. Breaking it down further; In the NFL, we have three teams from different parts of the state. The Miami Dolphins have questionable colour choices (navy?) and a bland uniform for a team called the Dolphins. The Buccaneers have awful numbers, weird colour choices, and an odd combo of stripes and piping. The Jaguars have a strong colour combo but terrible uniforms. In the NBA, we have the Heat and the Magic. The Heat aren't that bad but a couple tweaks could be greatly beneficial. The Magic have gone in the opposite direction of where they should be headed. The NHL provides some of the best uniforms out of the bunch. The Florida redesign was so much better than their last set, but a few tweaks could knock it out of the park. The Lightning have another boring set, despite another inspiring name. The MLB fields two of the last teams. The Marlins have such a great colour combo (minus black) and have so much potential, but it has been wasted. The Rays are close to a homer of a set, but tweaks should fix the problems. My last project ended eight months ago. I haven't made a concept of any kind in over half a year, so bear with me. Let's begin with the Dolphins. I love the throwbacks that the Dolphins have. I think it's a consensus that they should go back to those full time. Here's the full set. The home set features a teal top and white pants with their old logo, because it's great. The road set is a whiteout because I thought it looked good and the colours really stand out. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I loved the Colour Rush jerseys from this year. I used white pants and socks to balance the colours a little better. I have returned at last. Leave C and C!
  5. Floridian Premier League (Derby Posters)

I’ve been away from the boards for a while, but I’ve still been looking at other soccer concepts for ideas. In about late-July I decided to revive it, but instead of building off of what I already had, I decided to go back to square one. I made the league brand new and doubled the teams to a whopping 48. So this is the biggest project design related I have ever done, and like I said before, I’ve been working on it (drawing up ideas, writing backstories, designing kits and crests) since about late-July. I hope you all enjoy this mammoth of a project and please don’t shy from C&C. I can take it. League Backstory: The Floridian Premier League was founded in 1940 to give an southern counterpart to the thriving American soccer leagues in states like California, Texas, and New York. It’s immediate success brought it to the same level as these other leagues and it has been a farm for successful play domestically with other state league sides. It is composed of 48 teams, the most sides of any league in America. 8 of those teams get relegated, and 7 of them go to the American Champions League. Its most successful club domestically is International Gardens, and its most successful club nationally is Lauderdale Athletic. Team List: Athletic Club Boca Biscayne Athletic Soccer Club Brevard Brevard Rockets Soccer Club Buena Vista United Cascades Soccer Club Clearwater Soccer Club Daytona Racing Club Soccer Club Deerfield Deportivo Miami Fort Brooke Soccer Club Soccer Club Fort Myers Freedom Tower Soccer Club Gateway Soccer Club Gold Coast Diamonds Gulf Shore Athletic Harbor City Soccer Club Hillsborough City Soccer Club Homestead City Soccer Club International Gardens Soccer Club Islanders Soccer Club Keys United Soccer Club Lakeland Swans Soccer Club Lauderdale Athletic Club Lighthouse United Soccer Club Locomotive Gainesville Menéndez Club de Futbol Miramar Club Deportivo Nautica Soccer Club Ocala Riders Soccer Club Orange County Soccer Club Palm Beach Maritime Panama City Soccer Club Paradise Soccer Club Pembroke Rovers Soccer Club Progress United Real Palmas Club de Futbol Reeves Soccer Club River City Soccer Club San Agustín 1565 Sporting Pensacola Springs United Soccer Club St. Johns Brigade St. Lucie Union Sunshine City Soccer Club Tampa Bay United Volucres Soccer Club Ybor City Soccer Club I’m gonna do a similar thing to TheGiantsFan where he has a famous person from that city represent the name on the shirt, and you have to guess it. In this concept I’ll post a league table, and at the end I’ll group the crests and home and away kits together to get a big idea of what the league looks like altogether. I’ll be posting the teams alphabetically and about one per day, maybe more. Anyways here's the first club...
  6. Not a bad logo for the most part, I love how the Marlin is incorporated into a star. Only complaint is slapping the sponsored Master Card logo on it. I guess in this day and age we better get used to corporate logos on everything - on NBA jerseys. Sure it will happen on NFL, NHL, and MLB jerseys soon.
  7. Miami Dolphins Logo

This is an idea for a Dolphins logo I had using the sun to make a D and the underbelly of the dolphin to make an M. C&C would be much appreciated thanks.
  8. 2017 MLB ASG LOGO

Decided to tackle a concept logo for the 2017 MLB All Star Game which will be in Miami. Had some ideas to make it glitzy with an over the top Miami-style. But eventually led to a simpler clean logo.
  9. Hello! This logo is a response to the fact that the South Florida Metro Area is once again, getting a Major League Soccer (MLS) team in the foreseeable future. As always, feel free to critique and I will answer questions when I have the time available. Also, here's a link to the project: Miami SC/96 - MLS Design
  10. A couple years ago, a website called Warchant.com used to send out computer wallpapers after every single Florida State game, recapping the weekend. My dad used to save them and put them in a rotation is his desktop background. I thought this was a great idea and it inspired me to put my own spin on it. I try to make wallpapers for every big FSU event (and some just general Noles ones). With a kind-of big game against Miami coming up this weekend, here's what I came up with! P.S. Not sure if I should post this here because it's not a concept but what the hell. For more, check out the comments! Or the link to my album here ---> http://imgur.com/a/ZftUI
  11. If it isn't obvious already, I am a Dolphins fan. I saw the new 50 Seasons commemorative patch and thought it was really cool. I haven't seen a digitalized version of it yet, so I made this: Here is the reference: Please leave some feedback!
  12. Miami Hurricanes Adidas

I don't do a lot of American football concepts, but here is another whack at one. I based these off of the 00-03 jerseys.
  13. Miami Adidas Football Concept

Hello! I have worked on many concepts, but this is my first time posting. I completed the majority of this set back when Miami announced there switching from Nike to Adidas. This set includes white, green, orange, and smoke helmets, jerseys, and pants. Thanks to mr.nascar13 for the template, which i grabbed from the Paint Paradise 2.0 thread. FIRST UP: The White Away Set This uniform set resembles other Adidas two-stripe uniforms. When facing looking at the front, all the features on the left are orange and green on the right. This is inspired from the iconic U logo. These features include shoulder stripes, sleeve cuffs, pants stripes, glove details, and cleat details. The helmet stripe is two thick orange and green stripes separated by a thin white stripe, also inspired by the logo. As always, C&C is greatly is appreciated.
  14. Miami MLS Concept

I created this mockup for David Beckham's proposed MLS team in Miami. A common trend that seems to be happening in the MLS right now is modeling a kit after the city's flag. I did this with the third kit pattering it after Miami's city flag. Please leave suggestions if I need to change anything. Thanks.
  15. Hello everyone I have some more concepts I'd like to share, very recently Univ of Miami shockingly (just like Arizona State) switched from Nike to Adidas because of money obviously. But earlier Tennessee did the complete opposite by switching from long time supplier Adidas to Nike. So without further ado here are the concepts. Miami *Updated w/ Undershirts I am actually kinda sad to see Miami leave Nike, I actually really liked there uniforms they put out there this year. So with these designs I went wayyyyyyy back to the 80's for these concepts, Basically I went with a retro look for Miami back when they were in their prime with Michael Irvin, Jimmy Johnson and such. I fixed a lot of the striping inconsistancy they had back then, I also kept their current wordmarking and I added as a sublimation there Ibis logo. I also kept their traditional helmet. Tennessee *Updated w/ Undershirt So this may be an unpopular choice but I decided to bring back black for Tennessee, if you ask me Orange/Black looks better than Orange/Grey. Now Tennessee already have some pretty classy unis so I didn't wanna mess with them that much. I didn't add black outlines on the orange unis just because of how clean they look, while on the whites I find that the numbers just don't pop as much as they would with black outlines. And for the black unis, they looked pretty good on the template so I kept them, they looked better than Grey. So tell me what you think?
  16. Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick and two other NFL scrubs (49ers WR Quinton Patton and Seahawks WR Ricardo Lockette) are being investigated by Miami police for alleged sex crimes which took place earlier this month. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10762254/colin-kaepernick-san-francisco-49ers-being-investigated-miami-police Read. 17. Miami Hurricanes concept - adding chrome gold

OK, as anyone who has seen any of my previous concepts knows, this is a bit of a departure for me, but I just had an idea and thought I'd chase it. As most of you probably know, years ago metallic gold was part of the U's color scheme. So I thought I'd try to bring it back with a bit of a twist. I'm picturing this as having a high chrome finish on all gold elements (if that's possible) but definitely a mirror chrome finish on the gold elements of both helmets, stripes, facemask, and all. Again, this is not normally the kind of concept I traffic in, but I'm interested in seeing what anyone thinks.
  18. Miami Vice

here is an idea i had for a logo for beckhams new miami franchise i based the logo off of this one (http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/caneswatch/files/2014/02/miamisoccer-1.jpg) let me know what you think.
  19. Miami Dolphins logo design updates

Hey guys, I decided to attempt to update the Dolphins logo. Personally, I think the logo should be a little more aggressive. I tried to make it more aggressive by making the sun design more jagged and changing the eyes. Also, I wanted to bring back the helmet. Let me know what you think!
  20. Hello all, I am brand new to this site, I found it last week and have been really enjoying reading the threads and looking at concepts. This past spring I redesigned the Dolphins uniforms before their latest uniform release but after their logo was leaked. So I took the leaked logo and designed a uniform set around that. I realize that this isn't good timing because they have just released their new uniforms, but since I just found this site I decided to put up my ideas and see what all of you think. At the time I submitted my ideas to Paul Lukas's ESPN/uniwatch uniform redesign challenge. (Side note: this was my first uniform design so that is why the first image is in fairly low quality. I recently did the on body jerseys. A big thank you to bigvolsfan for the template. I wasn't able to get the base layer sleeve though.) The only thing that I have changed from my original design is the sock stripes. Originally they were even more complex. Other than that, I have left the concept the same. I have some ideas about changes to make, but I wanted to hear what all of you think before making any other changes. The main design concept is the wave going down the side of the jersey. This is why I have used the original template that I did--so that I could show the wave going from the jersey to the pants. The wave is taken from the lines in the new dolphins logo, and I think that it works with the Miami oceanfront vibe. The one long stripe that needs to be in the same color on both shirt and pants, that is why I have the blue pants with the white jersey instead of the green that would feel more natural. I was just going by the logo when I designed the uniforms, and I thought that they were moving away from orange and incorporating more blue. This is why I went with blue alternates instead of orange ones (and by looking at the new helmet stripe, this did turn out to be the case.) I was quite surprised when I saw that the font they now use for their Dolphins wordmark is fairly similar to what I had designed. (I am not suggesting that they saw my font and decided to use something similar; I just found it interesting.) I know that the NFL only allows one helmet that is not a throwback helmet, but I am including an alternate helmet assuming that Nike will convince the NFL to allow an alternate helmet so long as it is similar to the main helmet. This is why I have kept it white. Let me know what you think.
  21. Miami Dolphins - what if?

Just thinking...since the Marlins decided to go with a nightlife-inspired theme with their rebrand, what might the Dolphins look like if they went for the same feel? I'm sure many people would agree that very few cities could pull off the pink and make it work with a football team. I think it works.
  22. Having watched plenty of Miami Dolphins games and a handful of Hurricanes games, I'm starting to get annoyed by the end zone paint job. I know it's probably a silly thing to worry about, and I'm aware that by just putting MIAMI in orange and white it gives them a nice generic design that doesn't need tinkering with before every game. However, it looks to me like the Steelers and Panthers stopped doing the generic thing at Heinz Field, so why can't the Dolphins and 'Canes? If they're going to flip flop the U logo and the Dolphins logo, they might as well do the end zones as well, right? Thoughts?
  23. My Take On Miami Dolphin's New Logo!

Hey people this is the Miami Dolphin's New Logo creation I came up with, check it out guys and if you like it Spread The Word via Twitter, Fb whatever social media outlet at hand!!! Enjoy my work. What I did was I took a look at the Overall Teams History and combined the elements from the 1966-'96 Era into a more Modern Look with a touch of Retro!
