  1. A while ago I saw a project on Behance that really inspired me to maybe start a similar project. This is the link of the one I saw: https://www.behance.net/gallery/35060175/Reform-Redesigned-Logos Muskat is a wonderfully creative team of two designers from Germany and lets say I started following them ever since I first glanced at their projects. They focused on German brands and stores, making them look better, I on the other hand, will focus on the stores I see in my town of Zagreb, no matter what country a brand comes from. I just might put in a Croatian one, maybe... Sooooo, long story short, I started with Müller, a German trade company that basically sells everything from perfumes to cosmetics, from notebooks and pens to toys (lots and lots of toys). Lets say they are part one of my project. https://dribbble.com/shots/2857281-M-ller <--------dribbble link I hope you leave a like and a comment. Thank you! EDIT: The image is a GIF, so if you click it you'll see the logo on different color backgrounds.
  2. Hey folks, I was wondering if you guys would be interesting in holding our own little throwdown and see who comes up with the best toronto maple leafs update(as they recently announced that they would be updating the logo next year). May the best designer win?
  3. Lakers Primary Modernization

Before I get back to my regularly scheduled MLS Gridiron Sport swap, which went on hiatus due to the file getting corrupted, I do have one take on the Lakers' primary after going through the "Success Influences Logo" thread. The Lakers have a solid jersey wordmark and secondary, I just wondered what would happen if elements from both were combined.
  4. Milwaukee Bucks Modernization

In this thread, we've seen all the permutations of the Milwaukee Bucks' classic looks. From the traditional look of the championship era to the Irish Rainbow, the Bucks never really had a bad look. After hearing about old Bucks players trying to buy the team from Herb Kohl before the team packs up for Kansas City or Seattle, I thought it was time to show off a new direction the team could take their look that not only pays tribute to the 70's/80's, but also cleans up that look for modern standards (much like the Utah Jazz/Washington Wizards redesigns in recent years). Like my Sonics update, this is a preview for an upcoming concept series, a sense of the general direction in which the series will go (rooting the NBA in between the 70's/80's aesthetic and the zaniness of the 90's to produce an NBA that looks far less homogeneous than it does now). Logo Sheet: The primary and secondary logos are Ren69's gorgeous updates of the original Bango art, the font is from that original logo, and the tertiary/insignia shows off the new Irish Rainbow pattern, which replaces white with lime. Court: Essentially, it's an update of the classic Mecca Arena court, with the angled patterns and the "Milwaukee" markers in the baseline. Of course, Bango is now at the center of the court, and the updated Irish Rainbow pattern has been implanted in the keys. Standard Uniforms: Basically, these merge the second Irish Rainbow set with the third one. It uses the script, panel layout, v-neck, and number font of the second set of Irish Raibows, while it has the mixed hem, arm, and collar piping of the third set. The number font is also the proper Sand-Knit varsity font (as still used by the Celtics and Spurs), referencing the team's past with Milwaukee-based Sand-Knit and avoiding the anemic Knicks-style varsity block that the Sixers and Jazz adopted (Would it kill them to use outlines?). The color balance on the home uniform has also changed, reflecting more the third Irish Rainbow uniforms and the modern look. Of course, this means the colors are flipped on the road. The standing Bango has also been added to the shorts. Alternates: The alternates are simple enough. The red alt is an attempt to recreate the current red alt, albeit on the new template and in the old lettering/number font, and the green alt is a throwback to this road uniform (with Ren69 providing the shorts logo). C+C is more than appreciated.
  5. USFL modernization *STARS added*

So I recently did a Michigan Panthers concept inspired by the new A11 football stuff coming out right now. It was fun so I've decided to do a few more. I probably won't do the whole league but I'm open to any suggestions on which teams to do. Im just posting uniforms here, but i will post links to the entire project, which includes logos and apparel. C&C welcome
  6. Denver Modernization

So I saw some concepts that modernized old logos so I thought I'd give it a shot. I present to you... the new and (with C&C) improved... 1980s Broncos! I also made a plastic wrap effect version:
  7. A couple years ago in the "Unpopular Opinions" thread, I mentioned that this is my favorite Sonics logo: I don't know what it is about it that I love so much. I like the fact that it actually represents the team's namesake (Supersonic jets developed by Boeing), the 60's simplicity of the design, and its sweeping motion of the jetstream. Of course, it has its problems, like the lack of yellow, the non-matching lettering font, and the over-simplicity of the jet and Space Needle (itself a landmark of the "Zeerust" aesthetic). So, I have updated it. I've shortened the jet stream to give the logo a more manageable size, switched the font to better reflect the two-color system, replaced all of the white with yellow, modified the Seattle Sounders' Space Needle graphic to provide better perspective to the building and give it more overall weight in the composition, and switched the dark green to kelly green (the color scheme used during the Sonics' most successful period of the late 70's through the 90's). The jet is based on the conceptual Boeing 2707. Here it is, in comparison to an SRGB-enhanced version of the original logo. It's only meant as a proof-of-concept, as it has yet to be properly polished. Also, I have updated the classic skyline logo to fit in with the new primary and reflect some of the buildings built after the original's debut: C+C is appreciated.
  8. PCHA Modernization

This is my attempt at modernizing the PCHA. I initially was just going to do a seattle metropolitans concept but since it seems like everyone is doing one, I decided to go a little bit further. The full project can be viewed here. First I updated the league logo. I wanted to retain the feel of the logo, its simplicity and black and white color scheme, while brining it into the 21st century. Next up are the Portland Rosebuds This may be one of my favorite concepts i've ever done, im extremely happy with how it came out. I really wanted to make the "rosebuds" intimidating.
