  1. It's that special time of year for those of us that follow college football outside of the FBS. The NCAA Division 2 and 3 playoff selections will be this evening. FCS has one more week left in it's regular season and will have their playoff selection next Sunday. I personally don't follow NAIA, NCFA (club football) or NJCAA (junior college), but there's usually a couple guys here that do a good job keeping everyone informed on the postseason of those leagues.
  2. NAIA football rivalries

I'm looking for information on NAIA football rivalries. Google has failed me. Anyone have anything to share?
  3. Had this one come to me quickly and I thought I'd share it... The only NAIA football school in my state is Arizona Christian University (the Firestorm), which started a football program recently sensing that Arizona players don't have many options to play football in the state after high school. ACU was started in 1960 but didn't take its current name until 2011 (it used to be known as Southwestern College). I had a quick idea and logo. What if Arizona Christian had always been Arizona Christian? Thus came the concept for this fauxback logo... ...And this set of mockup home and road football uniforms that could be worn as fauxbacks. It's basically a USC ripoff of the 70s/80s with a few odd details, but that kind of adds to the realism of what a small school would have actually done. It's also worlds better than this. I know it's simple, but let me know what you think. I like how the A and C have a real 70s/80s feel to them without being too dated.
  4. It's that special time of year for those of us that actually give a damn about the lower divisions of college football. The NCAA Division 2 and 3 playoff selections are later today. I believe the FCS playoff selection is next week. I don't follow JuCo, Club or NAIA football, but I'm sure others here do and could enlighten us all on their postseason as it unfolds.
  5. Okay, they were twenty-eight runs short, but WTF http://www.nwcraiders.com/baseball/schedule/8342/results/northwestern-at-iowa This may turn into the CBB thread, so shoutout to ECU Pirate baseball for making the top 25 for the first time in athletic history since mid-fall 2014......the dayzzzzzzzzzzzzz flyyyy passssssttttttttttt soooooooooooo slllooooooowwwwwwwllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  6. Alright folks, it's that special time of year for fans of lower division college football. Divisions 2 and 3 are wrapping up their seasons today, and tournament selection is tomorrow. Division 1 FCS tournament selection comes next week (11/22/2015). I don't follow JuCo or NAIA football, but I'm sure someone amongst us does and could provide further info on their respective postseasons. Best of luck to all the teams! Let the games (and trash talk) begin!
  7. As I have mentioned in the past I love Bethany College's Helmets. Uniforms aren't bad. Not perfect, but not terrible. Next up is Kalamazoo - Simple Uniform + I love the helmet idea. What are some of your favorite designs for the small schools?
  8. Small college logos

I want to see some smaller colleges with really cool logos. I feel like smaller schools don't get the love they deserve. Just because the school doesn't have a football team, doesn't mean they can't have an awesome logo. I'll start with my school, Davenport University.
