    2018/19 Soccer Kits

I haven't seen a 2018/19 thread, but I have seen 2018/19 kits. So I figured I'd start. Chelsea: PSG: Tottenham clash:

    SSC Napoli Concept

It's been a while since I made a concept, but I got inspired recently. The majority of Napoli fans, myself included, have been very disappointed by Kappa for putting what seems like no effort or thought into our kits, so I decided I can do better. Here's what I came up with. It takes inspiration from years past while still remaining current and modern.

    AC Milan - Crest refresh

Hey there, the Serie A, Italian major soccer league, started again last weekend and while watching some of the games I couldn't avoid to notice how AC Milan crest look outdated compared to some others (e.g. Juventus or Inter Milan) which have been updated in the recent past. It just feel a bit too corporate (in a bad way) and blocky (probably the last time it's been updated was during the '80s). I've decided to give it a try and put together a quick presentation, also highlighting some of the issues I tried to fix. As usual, feedbacks are really welcome. Cheers
  4. The 2016/17 season is almost upon us, thought I'd make this thread now. Mods, feel free to lock this thread until the major international tournaments (e.g. Euro 2016 and Copa America) are finished.

    2014/15 International Football

So I thought I would take on the deed of starting the 2014/15 Football Thread, like Kramerica Industries did for 2013/14. This will be a place to talk about transfers, all news and matches from domestics leagues from Brazil and Argentina to the A-League with stops in Europe, title chases, backroom dealings, big football stories that makes all the national papers and small football stories alike that only make the local airwaves, UEFA Champions League and Europa League competitions as well as international friendlies and EURO 2016 qualifying that starts in August/September. This is our thread to talk about everything domestic and international football for the 2014/15 season. I know the World Cup is still going on with the Semifinals going tomorrow and Wednesday. But action is already heating up in the transfer market. Big news is RB Mathieu Debuchy completed his medical with Arsenal today and is expected to sign for the Gunners for 8m GBP later this week from Newcastle. As well, Arsenal are prepared to throw Joel Campbell into the deal to sweeten the pot. http://www.goal.com/en-ca/news/4188/transfer-zone/2014/07/07/4942579/debuchy-completes-arsenal-medical?ICID=HP_TS_3 As well, Barcelona has accepted a €40m offer from Arsenal for Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez with talks progressing throughout the coming days this week. Arsenal are in a competition to sign the Chilean ahead of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Juventus. The timing is right for Barcelona as they have made a €88m bid for Luis Suarez due to his buy-out clause from Liverpool comes into affect at that price. But reports from Mundo Deportivo state that Barcelona will have to pay €94.6m for his release clause to be activated http://www.goal.com/en-ca/news/4188/transfer-zone/2014/07/06/4940669/barcelona-to-accept-arsenal-offer-for-sanchez?ICID=AR_RS_1 Other dealings and rumors: 1. Arsenal are readying a bid for Greece and Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas as they prepare for the loss of club captain Thomas Vermaelen. The Belgian is expected to head to Old Trafford and Manolas will cost the Gunners €10 million. (Daily Mail) 2. Manchester United will take advantage of boardroom uncertainty at Valencia to hijack their proposed deal for Benfica and Argentina midfielder Enzo Perez. The winger has a €25 million buyout clause. (O Jogo) 3. Stoke City have emerged as surprise candidates to sign Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. The 34-year-old currently plays for Atletico Mineiro. (Metro) 4. Ex Blackpool winger Tom Ince was signed on a 2-year deal with Hull City. This is the third signing for Hull City with the Tigers already signing Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass from Tottenham and Norwich respectively. (BBC Sport) http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28203490 5. Liverpool have agreed on a deal with Lille for Belgium striker Divock Origi and are in advanced talks to sign Serbia winger Lazar Markovic from Benfica, both to expected to cost 35m GBP (BBC Sport). http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28188589 6. Arsene Wenger’s ambition to strengthen the core of his Arsenal team looks to have taken another turn, with reports suggesting that the Gunners have reinstated Bayer Leverkusen’s Lars Bender as the man they want to bolster the centre of midfield ahead of Sami Khedira (Bleacher Report and The Telegraph). http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2121230-arsenal-transfer-news-lars-bender-bid-prioritised-over-sami-khedira-interest
  6. This concept series has been a long time coming, and since soccer series seem to be going strong right now I thought I would finally post mine too. Italian kits are almost always very averse to innovation, and sometimes even changing the collar color is seen as a major change. Thank you to theflakeband for his amazing templates. The first (well, last) team will be up within minutes Parma Cagliari Hellas Verona Juventus

Serie A (take 2) by Wgeddes

So here is my second crack at designing the top italian league Serie A. I converted and tweaked my old Serie A designs using my new template (compliments of Raysox) I'll be posting quick, these are all ready done. First up is AC Milan. I know last time I got a lot of flack for not having an all white away kit, so I took my design that I had and converted it into an all white kit Home kit- classic black and red stripes, but with a little dark red stripes thrown in, with white shorts and black socks Away kit- classic white kit red accents and with black and red cross centered on the crest Third kit- all red with darker red accents and thin stripes

    Serie A by Nike®

Welcome to third and (probably) last part of my "What if..." Nike would sign a collective contract with Serie A, one of the major football leagues of Europe. Here's the link. Thanks & enjoy!
  9. Welcome to the World Football Champions League 2014. I wanted to branch out beyond doing a concept for the Chicago Fire third jersey contest back in Aug./Sept. 2013, nor did I want to just pick popular club teams worldwide. So, I took all the World Cup qualifiers, selected the top two clubs from each country (as of Jan. 29) and pit them against each other in brackets, a la March Madness. The winners were selected differently per round (coin flip, winning percentage, alphabetical) so I could keep out any personal bias.* I have the two finalists ready to go, complete with home, away and third jerseys. I will continue to post concepts for each team, working backward from the championship game, until I get all 64 teams completed. Final Four FC Bayern München (Germany) - ChampionDeportivo Toluca FC (Mexico) - Runner-upAFC Ajax (Netherlands)Manchester City FC (England)C&C on the kits and/or the logo above are always welcome, if not encouraged. * I will admit to one bias: I included the Chicago Fire instead of Real Salt Lake, but that was less about loyalty and more because I already have the third jersey completed for Chicago. Apologies to any die-hard RSL fans.
