  1. I decided to do a Ducks-Sharks Stadium Series concept, since I've always thought it would be cool to see the Ducks play outdoors at Angels Stadium. The other two California teams have hosted Stadium Series games, so while it's unlikely, it only feels logical that the Ducks would eventually do the same. As you can tell, both of the jerseys combine aspects from the teams' past and present uniforms. For the Ducks, I went with the original Mighty Duck logo, as well as very similar striping pattern as their original uniforms. With the Sharks, I combined their current logo together with their original jerseys, while swapping out the grey stripes with orange. The Stadium Series logo itself obviously is based on the "Big A" that is located just outside of Angels Stadium, while also borrowing from the Angels' color scheme itself. The home plate shape also continues the baseball motif. This is my first post here, so I would appreciate some feedback.
  2. 90s to Now Series

Decided to do a mini-series inspired by the Mariners "Past Meets Present" scheme. However, the reverse applies to this series, as I am taking the best/most infamous sports logos of the 90s and giving them a modern color refresh, rather than the other way around. I'm starting off with the NHL, before moving onto the NBA, and MLB (I'm skipping the NFL because the league significantly lacks iconic "90s" logos and colors). With regard to the NHL series, the logos featured are the only ones that had noticeable color changes. In my opinion, the Blues and Canucks old logos with their new color schemes look the best while the old Capitals logo looks the worst with its new scheme. Hope you enjoy this series!
  3. Decided to give a redesign to all of the NHL uniforms, some to a greater extent than others. I used the current adidas format for everything. I started off by redesigning the Atlantic Division first (H=Home, A=Away, P=pants): BOSTON BRUINS H: New chest logo featuring the B as a more prominent yellow than the black they've used. I also removed the shoulder yoke to invoke the more classic Bruins designs of the past. Finally, the socks are now mainly yellow with a black and white stripe to match that of the sleeves. A: The uniform design stays mostly in tact, with exception to the new chest logo. The shoulder yoke better fills out the sweater on this design than the home uniform. P: The belt is now yellow and the new logo is added to the right side of the pant. BUFFALO SABRES H: The blue has been lightened and the silver has been removed almost entirely. The uniform style remains the same overall, but the weird front number is removed as well. A: Holds the same uniform design as the new adidas away jersey, simply with the lighter colors added. P: A new yellow belt is added and the pants' blue is matched to the home and road uniforms. DETROIT RED WINGS: H: No changes. I absolutely could not touch this timeless uniform in any way without making it worse. A: The sweater remains in tact, but the helmet is now red rather than white to invoke the "Red" in the Red Wings name. P: The stripe on the side is thinned to match the length on the uniforms. FLORIDA PANTHERS: H: The leaping panther logo returns to the front of the uniform in a much desired move. A: See "H". P: No changes for the pants, which really complement the uniforms. MONTREAL CANADIENS: H: No changes to what is a classic uniform. A: Major changes here though. The road uniform gets the home uniform's treatment. The "Habs" line goes on the road uniform now, while the logo colors are reversed to better contrast the line. The bottom stripe is also altered to better match the style of the home uniform. P: No changes. TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING: H: Black returns to the Lightning color scheme in the form of both the neck and the sleeves. The ends of the sleeves are now completely black, giving the team a much more notable look. Black is also added to the sock design as well. A: All of the blue on this set is outlined with black to add the color to the other part of the uniform scheme. P: The Lightning stripe on the side now features a black outline. The belt color has also been changed to black. TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS: H: The classic sweater remains in tact. The new socks bring back the three stripes commonly used on the Maple Leafs uniform set. A: See "H" P: No changes here. Up Next: Metro Division, where there will be a lot more changes...
  4. Welcome to my new series, the New Look NHL! In this series, My goal is to give each NHL team a new look (compared to what they unveiled with Adidas) based on many things, such as one-off jerseys, the team's mascot in real life, or just ideas that come into my head. This is not a tweaking series or an Ideal look series. Some jerseys in this series could be on a 90's level of craziness, and others a simple, timeless look. Due to my lack of logo-making skills, I will be using some teams' primary or alternate logos, or I might mashup some of a teams' logos. Teams: Anaheim Ducks Arizona Coyotes Boston Bruins Buffalo Sabres Calgary Flames Carolina Hurricanes Chicago Blackhawks (Rainbowhawks) Colorado Avalanche Columbus Blue Jackets Dallas Stars Detroit Red Wings Edmonton Oilers Florida Panthers Los Angeles Kings Minnesota Wild Montreal Canadiens Nashville Predators New Jersey Devils New York Islanders New York Rangers Ottawa Senators Philadelphia Flyers Pittsburgh Penguins San Jose Sharks St. Louis Blues Tampa Bay Lightning Toronto Maple Leafs Vancouver Canucks Vegas Golden Knights Washington Capitals Winnipeg Jets Let's kick this off! I always thought that the Ducks were a green/jade team, so I used Jade as the base colour for the set. The striping isn't exactly 'new' but think it'll pass. The stripes are not slanted, and feature three stripes and then a cuff the colour of the middle stripe. This pattern is also used on the hem and socks. I used a rounded font for the numbers and names to tie it all together. The equipment is purple aside from the helmets. C&C is appreciated! I am not doing this is any particular order, so if you want to see a certain team done, or a set done in a certain way, feel free to post any idea you have.
  5. Welcome to what is now my first completed concept series, the NHL City Mashup Series! In this series, I will be taking the identity of each NHL team and combining it with the identity of another team (different sport) in that team's city. Some rules I set for myself were Team must be in either the MLB, NBA, NFL, MLS, or CFL. The jersey must be in the style of the NHL team's jersey. The other team's colours will be the ones on the jersey. The fonts should be either the official team's font or a close matching font. Teams: Anaheim Ducks (Angels) Arizona Coyotes (Cardinals) Boston Bruins (Celtics) Buffalo Sabres (Bills) Calgary Flames (Stampeders) Carolina Hurricanes (Charlotte Hornets) Chicago Blackhawks (Cubs) Colorado Avalanche (Nuggets) Columbus Blue Jackets (Crew) Dallas Stars (Cowboys) Detroit Red Wings (Tigers) Edmonton Oilers (Eskimos) Florida Panthers (Heat) Los Angeles Kings (Dodgers) Minnesota Wild (Twins) Montreal Canadiens (Expos) Nashville Predators (Titans) New Jersey Devils (Jets) New York Islanders (Nets) New York Rangers (Knicks) Ottawa Senators (Redblacks) Philadelphia Flyers (Eagles) Pittsburgh Penguins (Pirates) San Jose Sharks (49ers) St Louis Blues (Cardinals) Tampa Bay Lightning (Buccaneers) Toronto Maple Leafs (Raptors) Vancouver Canucks (Whitecaps) Vegas Golden Knights (Raiders) Washington Capitals (Wizards) Winnipeg Jets (Blue Bombers) without further adieu, here's the first mashup, the Anaheim Angels in the style of the Anaheim Ducks. (Yes, I am aware they aren't the Anaheim Angels, but heck with that) C&C is appreciated! I am also considering doing throwback jerseys for each mashup, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the idea.

  7. Penguins vs Flyers Stadium Series 2017

Hey all. I'm back. I drafted up a concept for the 2017 outdoor game between the Penguins and Flyers in Pittsburgh. I do not like a lot of the elements used in these jerseys simply because I dont like a lot of the stadium series templates. I feel they are a bit to modern. However I tried to make these accurate to what the NHL might want in a stadium series jersey. C&C is welcomed and appreciated.
  8. Winter break means... not a lot to do so I can try to jump back into some jersey and logo concepts! This is hopefully be a series that will cover every NHL team. Some of them will get brand new logos, not all of them. I'm gonna start off with two rebranded teams: the Blackhawks today and the Avs tomorrow. Often designs I used will be influenced by other designers, and I'll try my best to give each of them credit. 1/30: Chicago Blackhawks Without having a huge political argument over whether or not the Blackhawks logo is offensive, I've always liked the idea of using a literal hawk in the logo instead of the Chief. This is obviously influenced by Mike Ivall's original design, as well as Brandon Moore's recent crack at it as well. As aesthetically appealing as the old shoulder logo was, I think the tomahawk motif is a bit outdated so I went more straightforward. I chose a path closer to the 60s-90s logo, where in normal application the Hawk has no outline, but on the jersey it has a gold outline. The jerseys are consistent with the ones now, although I changed the numbers on the aways to better balance out the red and black compared to now. C&C is of course appreciated, and I'll have a new Avs logo and jersey tomorrow!
  9. Zeus' Hockey Templates

Hello,! I decided to make a Stadium Series template, obviously for hockey, due to the fact that I wanted the one that uses, but the internet didn't have it. Therefore, I made it on my own, and that made me want to make more. (Some templates are just re-made for Here they are: Stadium Series (Now with tweaked shoulders!): Archetype Blank: Archetype Ultra-Modern: Archetype Classic: Archetype Modern: Archetype Modern Hem Stripes: Archetype Stadium Series: Nike Custom: RBK Edge Ultra-Modern: RBK Edge Ultra-Modern 2: RBK Edge Ultra-Modern 3: RBK Edge Modern 1: RBK Edge Modern 1 Arm Stripes: RBK Edge Modern 2: RBK Edge Modern 2 Hem Stripes: RBK Edge Classic: Old CCM: Sweater: More coming soon. 10. It's been ages since I've really had the time to focus on some NHL stuff. There are a number of concepts just lying around in one of my folders that I've never really put any finishing touches on (i.e. sleeve numbers, adding helmets, pants, socks, etc), so I thought it was time I finish them and put on a little more polish. I prefer to use the old CCM paint templates because I find them easier to use, what being incredibly horizontal. They are a bit bulky, but unlike the Edge templates, I find there's more space utilize. I have Reebok'd them, though, they will have the Reebok tags and Edge collars, but I streamlined them, so they will all have the same basic collar template, which I'll concede is lame on my end. Right now I only have four teams ready but I am hoping to polish off about ten or eleven over the next few days. They're not in any discernible order either, sorry. 11. NBA Project 32 - Timberwolves Update

I teased this series in my Bucks modernization concept, but now the series is ready to go. I've plotted out a redesign of the NBA, with the intended goal of breaking up the monotony of most of the league's looks by placing its aesthetics between 70's/80's tradition and 90's crazy. These concepts also buck with current trends in the league, going back to the pre-Rev30 material (allowing for proper twill lettering, pinstripes, split numbers, and effects on the fabric) and having college lines on the courts (as I feel they add more color to the key). Also, a big thank you to Conrad for his NBA Font collection, as without it this project would have been impossible. Completed teams: Atlanta Hawks Boston Celtics Brooklyn Nets Charlotte Hornets (V2) (V3) Chicago Bulls Cleveland Cavaliers Dallas Mavericks (V2) Denver Nuggets (Court V2) (V2) Detroit Pistons (Road V2) Houston Rockets (V1.5) (V2) (V3) Indiana Pacers Kansas City Diesels (Alt V2) Los Angeles Clippers (V2) Los Angeles Lakers Memphis Grizzlies Miami Heat (V2) (V3) (V3.5) Milwaukee Bucks (Alt V2) (V2) Minnesota Timberwolves (V2) New Orleans Pelicans New York Knicks (V2) Oklahoma City Thunder (V2) (V3) Orlando Magic (V2A) (V2B) (V3) Philadelphia 76ers (V2) (V3) Phoenix Suns (V2) Portland Trail Blazers Sacramento Kings (Road V2) San Antonio Spurs San Francisco Warriors (V2) Seattle Supersonics (V2) Toronto Raptors (Alt V2) Utah Jazz (V2) (V3) Washington Federals Division Alignment and Design Compilations So, without any further delay, here's the first team in the league, the Atlanta Hawks! ATLANTA HAWKS When the Atlanta Hawks released their new secondary logo, I immediately leaped on the idea of a fauxback/neo-retro look for them (much like what I wish the Falcons would do). I started out by going back to the red and yellow color scheme, as red solo looked far too plain and black really cluttered up the look (also, I believe that any team that added black in the 90's when they did not have black before should remove all black from their color scheme, i.e. Calgary Flames, Cincinnati Reds, 1998-2011 New York Mets, etc.). So, I simply placed a yellow outline on the new secondary, adjusted the 2003 All-Star Game alternate logo to be the new secondary, and removed the beveling from the "ATL" logo. The court is a retro-styled look, with the new pac-hawk logo at center court, yellow detailing along with the red paint, and the retro Hawk within the 3-point line. Uniforms While I do appreciate the 'Nique-era look, I was not enough of a fan to bring it back full time. So, I decided to hybrid their late-70's look with their early 2000's look. I maintained the current lettering and number font, as it is my favorite part of their current look. Crew neck collars return, as they enhance the retro feel and the Hawks used them up until the Rev30 was introduced. The result is a fusion of classic sensibilities with some modern touches. The first alternate is a yellow alt based on this look (which was easy to recreate, thanks to Conrad's "Highlight Factory" font) that also justifies using the "ATL" script (because of the size issues related to the striping pattern), and the second is a throwback to the 'Nique era (they were too iconic to leave out of the redesign). Up next, the Boston Celtics!
