  1. Hello, Sportslogos.net! I decided to make a Stadium Series template, obviously for hockey, due to the fact that I wanted the one that nhluniforms.com uses, but the internet didn't have it. Therefore, I made it on my own, and that made me want to make more. (Some templates are just re-made for Paint.net) Here they are: Stadium Series (Now with tweaked shoulders!): https://41.media.tumblr.com/723f0c91312b7170e04f10a41346ef48/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio8_1280.png Archetype Blank: https://40.media.tumblr.com/918dd4f6a682dccf15edab260c46a1bf/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio9_1280.png Archetype Ultra-Modern: https://36.media.tumblr.com/e7be2592799c0c559357445f21a8a4e6/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio3_1280.png Archetype Classic: https://41.media.tumblr.com/efb9a60315f39635c89f8eb72e3b2b8d/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio1_1280.png Archetype Modern: https://41.media.tumblr.com/a53d23b1df62ac7fe4d44aa10d78d75d/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio5_1280.png Archetype Modern Hem Stripes: https://40.media.tumblr.com/d26c29fc5082d4a650985efa7eed49f6/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio2_1280.png Archetype Stadium Series: https://40.media.tumblr.com/845d1f763054b0041dd63d4460e9d5f5/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio6_1280.png Nike Custom: https://40.media.tumblr.com/d83a87bdcea776fff80b32eb9409ed7f/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio10_1280.png RBK Edge Ultra-Modern: https://40.media.tumblr.com/292da85867aa1e42dc299bb91d4e4900/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio7_1280.png RBK Edge Ultra-Modern 2: https://36.media.tumblr.com/4313481fb8121170b3a95602eb7e4f68/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio4_1280.png RBK Edge Ultra-Modern 3: https://41.media.tumblr.com/5d2046eab78bd41dc885b752579e02e2/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio1_1280.png RBK Edge Modern 1: https://41.media.tumblr.com/ca0cf39daa4839e212b333175c4f92df/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio2_1280.png RBK Edge Modern 1 Arm Stripes: https://40.media.tumblr.com/524f35681a5d13770717e6aa6331c982/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio4_1280.png RBK Edge Modern 2: https://41.media.tumblr.com/2e177c2df286679bcb3dec39e6a5534b/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio3_1280.png RBK Edge Modern 2 Hem Stripes: https://40.media.tumblr.com/7f8754c3b57864e346bcc6d24bf6bc98/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio5_1280.png RBK Edge Classic: https://40.media.tumblr.com/2df2c7377277d8db5306788a647e7eb1/tumblr_nv284wmMeY1ue9cjio6_1280.png Old CCM: https://36.media.tumblr.com/f9f3bd58fb1692eb7c68fe31754632ba/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio7_1280.png Sweater: https://41.media.tumblr.com/ffbcbec48e128924979ea64bcafcaf1c/tumblr_nv283xx48s1ue9cjio8_1280.png More coming soon. 2. So guys, it's finally done. All the years I've been using this 'comic template' I've always got requests to give it out. I never did because lazy. Over the last few days I created the new Nike Aeroswift template with my template and decided that it would be the perfect instance to share it with you. Maybe one problem is that I just use Gimp and subsequent I can just share it in the xcf-format. So you can definitely open it with Gimp. If someone knows how I can save it in .psd or just convert it would be nice. 3. I think my concept here better suits the German national team but I still like the look of it lol. The double stroked Flames logo and the three variations of it drive me a little crazy so I went with a simple, sleeker approach with the whole concept. The bigger story here however is the mockup. I found this free template online by one Sean FF and it was in a pretty rough shape. So I completely overhauled it, adding smart objects, more options, shading and lighting, cc, but most importantly cleaning up the edges. She still isn't the best Ps mockup in the world but she can get the job done. I offer this updated version for free to you all and would love to see you guys come up with. Thanks and Thank you Sean FF for your template! Download Link; https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxTJxMdfzK0raEx1cktwamRWa0U
  4. I'm sorry that this has taken me so long to get posted, frosh week has kept me far too busy the last couple of days. Below are links to the NCAA and NFL versions of the template in svg. as well as a great ai. version thanks to the fantastic Doug Houvener. I'd also like to thank Thomas Hatfield for the fantastic helmet template, as well as Andrew Harrington for the various parts of his Speed Machine template which I used. Thanks as well to those of you who have been testing this out for me the last couple of weeks, your feedback has helped me out a lot. I hope to see it used on a few concepts in the future. 5. This summer is huge for international soccer. Both the Copa America and UEFA European Championships are happening at the same time. In the last few weeks, more and more teams have been releasing their kits. Nike has been highlighted by mismatching sleeves, and a muscle vent design. Adidas moved their stripes to the under arm, which is a big break from their traditional sleeve stripes. I took it upon myself to tool with my soccer template to fit these new jersey cuts, hoping that the good designers that download it will make something that doesn't look like hot garbage. Also shout out to my girlfriend for creating her concept for the Washington Watermelons on my Adidas template. To test it out, I did two quick concepts. The first is my USA Soccer one on my Nike template. The new ones have mismatching pattern sleeves. The home is white, and the road is black. It's a mess. On my white, I did head to toe white, with blue accents, and a red V just because traditional looks are good for home kits. The clash kit is a red and blue half kit with a diamond gradient to purple in the middle. To test the Chelsea kit, I went pretty simple. The blue top has dark and light pinstripes, that change color on a diagonal line. Since I'm a giver, and here are the links to download. Nike template (AI and SVG) Adidas Template (AI and SVG) Also, check out my good pal Doug's new website Mockup Arena. Free professional templates for everyone! I want to do a Puma one if anyone can find HD pictures of their Euro kits.
  6. I created this template using the images of the new Washington Huskies uniforms. You can change the colors of the gloves and socks. The shoes just remain black. If you see something you want to fix go ahead and let me know so I can fix it and upload it again! Thanks for checking it out! The socks will be darker than what you intend them to be. For some reason they would not go any lighter than that. There was not a good image of the back of the jersey so it could not be added. 7. Earlier this month someone on the Uni Watch site made a comment about wanting to see a curling t-shirt or sweater for the Uni Watch t-shirt of the month. So with a bit of time off during the holiday season I decided to play around with the idea. Started off with MSPaint/Paint.net friendly version of Sparky Chewbarky's Faux-Knit hockey sweater template, and then did some cutting and pasting and rudimentary drawing. Made up a few patches and crests for the sweater and here's what I have. Included the front patches because they might be small to see on the sweater. One of the old programs I've used in the past doesn't work on Windows 10, which I reluctantly had got this year since XP isn't supported for some of the things the wife needs, so I'm trying a newer program along with the usual MSPaint/Paint.net Concept is a little rough but I'd had enough by the time I'd got as far as you see. Sparky, if you have any problems with the template modification I will gladly remove this post.
  8. Hi there, as a friend of mine asked me to design a bicycle jersey I wanted to create a template first. As it took me quite a while but as it also was fun - I thought I would share it with you. So please tell me your thoughts and if there's something to fix. (Don't know if there's anybody around who would actually like to design a bicycle jersey, but anyways…) All the best wishes Daniel

  13. Hey! Sorry I haven't been making concepts recently, but here's a new template I've made! Introducing... It's not really much new, honestly. I've been using it and liking it a lot recently, but it's basically the Edge template with some additions and differences. Here are some of those differences. So that's it. It's essentially a fancy Edge template with a new collar, heat-pressed clear plastic for effect, and a modern design that still feels classic. I know it wasn't much, but... Download here!

  16. Hey everyone, @raysox put out a .ai and .svg version of his new soccer template a few months ago. I've been able to translate most of it over to .psd with some minor differences. These is currently only a small selection of collar styles for each template. Hopefully I will have some more by the end of summer. Click the link below for the NuSoccer template: http://www.mediafire.com/download/lovex6poac9w66q/-Nu-_Soccer_Template.psd I also translated much of the original template to .psd, you can find that here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3gpv4rd4ejgc29d/Soccer_Template.psd Please let me know if you have any issues and a big S/O to Raysox for the original!
  17. Here is an example of a goalie mask that could be used as an avatar for your fantasy hockey team. I used it for my Cincinnati Swarm fantasy team this season. It is done in photoshop only. 18. Hello all! I've been making some hockey jersey templates recently, and I figured I'd release them here on the boards! I'd like to make it clear, though, that none of these are mine. While I did make them, they were all based off of templates others used, but I couldn't find anywhere online. I'm not going to take credit for the creation of these, just the recreations for public use. If you originally made one of these templates, PM me and I'll take it down. .PDN TEMPLATES: Click here for the Mediafire folder .PNG TEMPLATES: Click here for the Mediafire folder .PSD TEMPLATES: (I'm not sure if these will work. I made them using Paint.net and I don't know if it'll still work on Photoshop) Click here for the Mediafire folder Thanks for reading, and use 'em well!

  20. Let's try this again! My apologies for the novella I wrote last time. I am looking for fun ideas to add to my 'uniform' template for my dice racing league. The dice are the participants and I am looking for gear, uniforms, etc to add to my template to make it feel like a fully-formed league. The 'sport' is that real world dice are rolled and the scores tabulated, however, the overall theme is to incorporate and/or suggest a wide variety of sports are represented. This Dice Racing League draws on the aesthetics and organization of everything from Soccer to American Football to Horse Racing to Hockey, Basketball and Baseball. For my template, I want a uniform and gear to have lots of interesting surfaces and shapes in which to place logos, stripes, wordmarks, colors, etc. Here's a rough first draft of what I see. Right now it's got a football-ish helmet and a racing spoiler as part of the aesthetic. I'd like to incorporate more concepts from other sports. Could be a pedestal, could be a banner, could be racing silks. What are some other items that could be tastefully added to this template? I did this mockup in Photoshop, but for when I finally put this together, I'm going to use a 3D program to create everything so I can animate the scenes as well as have still images from a wide variety of interesting angles. Thanks in advance!
  21. Did you see my High School Rebrand project? I'm pretty proud of it. You should go take a look. In any case, that project was also my first foray into Photorealistic Templates. Specifically PSDs. I think they just look better - no offense to vector work - from a presentation standpoint. My soccer kits were presented like this: And now - you can use MY template! http://www.mediafire.com/download/y7a90gry5103sdy/SoccerTemplate.psd ONE FINAL TIP The best way to make it look like your work is realistically on the jersey is the use of 1) warp/free distortion and 2) the Displacement filter. Free distortion is, I feel, self explanatory. However, displacement is a tricky beast. In the file, I did my best to color code/name layers appropriately. Yellow layers, you fill the layer with your color and you're set. There is a Blue layer in the Texture folder. Select all in that layer, copy/paste into a new document. Now, you're gonna want to blur it. Filter > Gaussian Blur. I find 2-5 pixels works best here. Save it as a new .psd file. Call it something like SoccerDisplace.psd. Something easy to remember/find. Now, go back to the actual template. Lets say you're working on a set that has stripes (ahem my high school kits ahem). Don't worry about bending. Just draw straight lines/shapes. (if you're working on it as a group, just duplicate the group and then flatten it. this is called "non-destructive editing.") Once you're happy with it on one layer, go to Filter > Distort > Displace. A new window pops up. I find smaller values work well here - 4-10 on both scales. Make sure Stretch to Fit and Repeat Edge pixels are selected. Hit ok. It'll then ask you for a displacement map. CHOOSE THAT SOCCERDISPLACE.PSD FILE. Voila! Photoshop will distort accordingly and it looks realistic. You can still tweak it, but that's the gist. Holler if you need anything more! Jordan
  22. Little fun fact: your boy used to play lacrosse in high school! I love the game, I really do. I'm guilty for not following it enough. I started following the SB Nation college lacrosse blog this past January. Since then, I can't escape it. Tons of small New York schools show up on my timeline daily. Then over spring break, my friend gave me back two of my three sticks, since she wasn't using them. I had no choice but to make a vector template! So since my template making overall has improved since my last phase of lacrosse concepts, I needed to start new. I started from my soccer template. But the only thing that remained was the pants. I changed the jersey shape and cut, shortened the sock, threw on Mathew McElroy's glove template, entirely remade a penny because it wouldn't be lacrosse without it. I made it look exactly like my high school team. Finished with some branding to make it easy on everyone, and bam! Here it is! Right now, it's in SVG. You can download it below. I'm gonna convert it to .AI soon, but I just prefer woring in inscape on templates. Download my NuLax template here!
