  1. In my opinion, one of the best looks in baseball is an off-white home uniform. Because of this, I really liked the Cool Base Ivory fashion jerseys that were introduced a few years ago, despite not being a fan of every design. I recently stumbled upon '47 Brand's Two Tone Clean Up caps which were also off-white and featured retro team logos. I figured these caps would look good paired with uniform designs inspired by the Cool Base jerseys, which gave me the idea for this series. I took some creative liberty here and there (for instance, I was definitely not going to use the "cracked out" Tiger logo) and ended up pretty happy with the results. This will be a quick series, so I'll be positing each division at once. Let's start with the AL East! ORIOLES: RED SOX: YANKEES: RAYS: BLUE JAYS: C&C appreciated. AL Central is up next!
  2. Connecting Old & New Broncos Fans

Hey all, this is my first post on this forum in over 2 years. I'm working on a class assignment that asks us to create a brand that appeals to all generations. I decided to pick Denver because if you ever go to (I'm forever calling it) Mile High Stadium, you'll notice there is an internal fan base battle over the new navy and orange color scheme versus the traditional blue and orange from the OG Elway days. I just took some screenshots of the concepts and logo I have created so far because I'm really looking for some C&C on the next steps before I fully turn this into a presentable concept and project. So before I can waste anymore of your time.. Here is my idea. Blend both the Navy and traditional blue into a color scheme that works, evolve the new bronco head with the very famous "D" that has previously been introduced in their most recent Color Rush, and throw in some millennial sprinkles like a mountain and red rocks shadows in the numbering to give everyone a little taste of what they want the Broncos to look like. Again, C&C is very much appreciated! This would be the Broncos Alternate and "Color Rush" The Blue Color Rush and Alternate jersey's should design would be based off the City of Denver Flag. I removed the Sun from the jersey because of Nike's swoosh placement in the NFL. Up Close rough mockup featuring Nike's now famous sublimation pattern of Red Rocks Amphitheater.
  3. (Updated) I have updated the main post so the finalized renderings are seen first. (Still debating over final numbers. Both based off current Eagles font, but modified) Here is the remainder of the blog for how the above were created. Look through and comment I will update the finals if suggestions and changes are warranted. **** ORIGINAL POST BELOW ***** Okay, I've heard lots of talk about modernizing a throwback classic Eagles uniform but haven't seen any good renderings for what the single vision is for this. So, I took the time and created a one. There is too much discussion to me about "Kelly Green". It's more than that. It's bringing back tradition and having an identity that the loyal fan base can relate to. Lots of Kelly Green advocates seem to just want the "old" back. And this annoys the Millennials who don't care about the past...preferring cool. I just want green back (not some hipster made up color) and would love to see a return of silver. To me, the Eagles' colors should be green, silver and white. Agree??? I feel these would be some of the best uniforms in football...home or away. Your input is appreciated to fine tune them. Notes: Green - Not Kelly (50/60s), and not as dark as 80's. Hopefully modernly in between (jersey would have modern shiny shoulder/chest) Silver - The silver has a slight green tint to make it unique (pants would be shiny material) No black - removed from wing logo (any black seen is outline of drawings only) Facemask - Gray, not shiny silver Concept - Closest is Vick era throwback 50's (with shoulder stripes everyone comments on), mixed with the 80's (without overdoing the stripes), and utilizing modern helmet wing and materials
  4. Aaron Dodson from The Undefeated listed The 30 Best NBA Throwback Jerseys is response to Nike's announcement that eight teams will be wearing a Classic Edition uniform (READ: Throwback) this upcoming year. There's a lot to be said about Dodson's list, which needless to say, I don't agree with. So I thought I'd share ONE throwback for each 30 teams that I'd love to see worn. This isn't necessarily the best designed throwback from their team history, but more back to an era relatable to the fans and their history. Also, in the spirit of the NBA going with more Color vs. Color match ups, I decided to go with colored jerseys, especially since the Association Edition (READ: Home Uniform) will presumably be the only white jersey in team's collections. Anyways, here is my list. I'd love to see everyone else's opinions on what throwbacks you'd like your favorite team to sport next year or near future ...
  5. Lions Concept after photos leaked

After studying the leaked photo from the Lions, I came up with the following. I hope they don't over embellish the number font like the Lions current uniforms or the Vikings. And it looks like they might have chrome face masks. At least I hope so. I feel the helmet would be too similar to the Cowboys if they went with a grey face mask.
  6. Best NBA Throwback Jerseys

What are some of your favorite NBA throwbacks that your team or other teams have worn? Here are mine. I didn't add one for every team. Add yours ...
  7. High School Basketball Logos

Hi, I am a first time designer and logo creator. I wanted to design a brand to use for my school's basketball logos. I did some research on this site, as well as others and Google, and came up with my ideas. I used Photoshop to create these and although I do not have much experience with the program, but I think that the logos came out well. Our main colors are royal and white, with grey and black serving as accents, and I tried to incorporate each color into the logos. I would appreciate it if you readers would review my logo designs and give me constructive criticism so that I may make the logos perfect. The blue basketball with white outline and a grey "C" in the middle would serve as the alternate logo for the basketball team. The "C" stands for the city of Columbus and the name of my high school. The grey basketball surrounded by the white "C" in the blue circle would serve as a throwback logo. I was going for a Seattle Supersonics type look, referencing their white "S", yellow basketball, green circle alternate. Thank you for your time and constructive criticism. (ALL LOGOS ARE PROPERTY OF nstevens0 AND ARE FOR MY USE ONLY)

  9. Tampa Bay Rays: Back to 1998

So, while doing the Premier League x Baseball crossover series, I had the idea of doing a next series about MLB tweaks. This comes from the re-designing idea I had for the Tampa Bay Rays. I think their current indentity is fine, but, IMO, the colours they use don't stand out, specially compared to the scheme they used dyring their first two years (from 1998 to 2000). That's why I decided to take their current wordmark and logos, using their original multi-colour gradient, using navy just for the trimming. These are the wordmarks from the jerseys: For the uniforms I decided to keep navy as seconary colour, adding the gradient on the cuffs, pants, socks and numbers borders. For the caps I decided to make the front white for the home and alt versions, inspired by the @Carolingian Steamroller's designs: NOTE: I know there are other TB Rays concepts on the forum, but I don't know if somebody has already tried this same idea. C&C appreciated!
  10. Winnipeg Jets Throwback Concept

My main questions are: Do I ditch the light blue altogether? Should I keep the shoulders the way they are? Is the logo on the jersey too big?
  11. Hi all, Inspired by the news on Dallas trademarking the Texans name, I've decided to start a new project, a throwback inspired by the Texans. Beginning of project: A: Modern, current D, Green Wordmark UPDATED: B: Black D, Green Wordmark UPDATED: C: Green Monotone UPDATED: D: Green D, Black Wordmark UPDATED: C&C Appreciated, and vote in the poll!
  12. BACKSTORY: This is something that was originally for my NHL-to-Football crossover series. It's a throwback for the Pittsburgh Penguins to their inaugural season. Since this is for a football concept, I needed to change up the team's original primary logo from a hockey-playing penguin to a football-playing penguin. So that lead to me creating this: With this being a throwback, I needed to create a uniform, which lead to me making this, based on their inaugural uniform set: I had so much fun with this, I created a corresponding white jersey: Hope you all enjoy it! C+C is appreciated, as always.
  13. NFL Concepts - 4/32 - Cardinals

As a Cleveland Browns Fan, I have a love hate relationship with the new uniforms. I tried to incorporate the good things they did and exclude the bad. I personally like the Cleveland word mark across the front. It just needs to be re sized. I went ahead and added the "rising" shadow from the numbers to the Cleveland word mark. The worst thing on the uniform in my opinion is the contrasting numbers on the home jersey. I went ahead and changed the numbers to white. One pretty major change I included was orange shoulder caps. Yes, I know no one likes shoulder caps but I think they look good here. I tried to focus on uniformity throughout the whole uniform. The helmet still has the same satin finish that it currently does. The brown face mask is okay, but I love white for the Browns. And like the Miami Dolphins, I made a throwback for special occasions, mostly Thursday or Monday Night games. I based it off the uniforms of the Brian Sipe era: So I will start off with the home uniforms: rough photoshop of new uniforms to look like my concept. Next is the away: Now on to the orange alternate. I don't like the monochrome look but I added it just because. Now here is the throwback. It is very similar to their old uniforms. Thanks for Looking!
