  1. It's been a very long time since I've done any concept, let alone post one. I've been involved in fantasy hockey and football for years, but this year was my first foray into fantasy baseball and as such used it as my motivation to get behind the mouse. As such, I took John Benson's jersey and Jay Jaxon's cap templates and created this unique set for the Toronto Frenchies... (don't hold back on comments, my son described the away jersey as the "ugliest shirt he's ever seen".(and I own a NY Islanders "fish sticks" one...)
  2. When the Minnesota Wild released their stadium series uniform, I thought it could be the excellent basis for a new set. I removed the white yoke (which really doesn't look good for the Wild, no matter the precedent), used the red number/white outline arrangement, and added the stripes to the pants. The white version has a green yoke, for better color balance. The other change I made will probably be controversial, namely the removal of the wheat color. I like the way in which the green and red contrast with each other, and I've always felt that the wheat color muddied it up. White makes it look sharper to me. It may be a departure from tradition for the team, but I think it works. This may be the first of a new series for me. C+C is greatly appreciated!
  3. In this series I will be re-branding all 32 NFL Team's uniforms with either Nike (Mach Speed, Pro Combat, Vapor Untouchable), Adidas (Techfit 2016), or Under Armour (Diablo). Nike/Jordan Carolina Panthers New York Jets Adidas Tampa Bay Buccaneers Minnesota Vikings New Orleans Saints Under Armour Las Vegas Raiders Atlanta Falcons Leave comments and requests of what team with what brand/template you want.
  4. Let me start by making something clear: This is NOT my concept and I claim no credit for it. I tried to find a thread with this via search and could not. Now that that is out of the way, This is a concept by Jesse Alkire that I found via Dribbble. I thought that everyone here would really appreciate it. There are some aspects of the concept that on paper would seem hokie or minor league like (topographic elevation lines as pinstripes)... but they REALLY work well and I could imagine seeing them on the field. Here is the link to his page and some images from the concept. ***Well just figured out that Jesse IS a member here... sorry for posting your work. This can be taken down if need be.***
  5. What are some of your favorite NBA throwbacks that your team or other teams have worn? Here are mine. I didn't add one for every team. Add yours ...
  6. Hey guys! This is my first time posting my own topic on the boards so let's see how this goes. This thread will consist of my Football uniform concepts for the Atlantic Sun Conference, a D1 non-football conference. Notes: I know I'm using an old template, so I'll apologize in advance for that. A lot of this was using the paint bucket tool but there are a few instances of brushes, pen tool, etc. Lastly, this is my first concept so I know it's not the best by far, and C&C is completely welcome, and changes will be made accordingly. Thank you!
  7. I love watching college football and I like to see how teams change their uniforms over the years. Most of those changes have been for the better but there's still some that changed for the worse or have just always been bad. In this thread I'm not going to do redesign every team's uniform. I'm only going to redesign FBS teams that I thought have bad uniforms or could use some slight changes (which is around 30 teams). I'll try to give some type of explanation for teams I didn't change at some point too. I'm not going to post these in a specific order. And just because I post only a home, away, and alternate uniform that doesn't meant helmet, jerseys, and pants can't be mixed around. Teams I have done: Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Fresno State, Georgia Tech, Hawaii, Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Oregon State, TCU, Tulsa, Wisconsin, Western Michigan Teams I plan on doing: UCLA, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana-Lafayette, Bowling Green, Southern Miss, North Carolina State, East Carolina, Texas-San Antonio, Texas-El Paso, UAB, North Texas, Charlotte, Akron, Kent State On to the concepts... Central Michigan Chippewas (current uniform) Home Uniform: Away Uniform: Alternate Uniform: -Normal glossy helmets -Unique pattern on shoulders and pants. The pattern might be a little too much, but I'd rather see a team try something different than use a similar template than other Adidas schools. -Added "Chippewas"/"Central Michigan" to front of jersey Up Next: EMU
  8. I missed out when everyone else was making their uniform predictions for the Golden Knights and we're running out of time before concepts become tweaks so here's my go at it.
  9. This is a concept for a fictional NHL Team. Figured I place it in Mexico City just cause.... More details on my behance page. Feel free to critique!
  10. Hey guys, Wanted to take a shot at a new project...this is my first attempt working with Illustrator rather than Inkscape. I'm using my own template (which has been slightly streamlined). I envisioned a new look for the Falcons, whose current uniform has been stale for about a decade. This new set would coincide with the new stadium and is more of a throwback look. The overall look harkens back to the beautiful throwbacks from 1966 with the addition of sleeve stripes. I felt conflicted because I love the Northwestern style stripes they've worn before...I also love the gray pants with the red, white, and black stripe (same as the Super Bowl 1998 team's pants)...but mixing those with the helmet and you have a complete hodgepodge of striping patterns. So I've started from the helmet and the throwback pants stripe and expanding into a simple and consistent stripe across all elements. I have designed a custom number font. It's somewhat based off of the wordmark font and tweaked but I think it's still rather simple. I have also included an "Inaugural Season" patch on the black jersey, which I'd imagine they would wear for the very first game at the new stadium. Here's the rest of the number set:
  11. Notre Dame Shamrock Series Concept Uniform. Thoughts, feedback, and ideas much appreciated
  12. Hey guys, so this is officially my first thread on this website (so don't mine the errors)! For my first thread I decided to start a topic about football helmets. I believe there was a thread about this a while back aswell. I know it sounds kinda lame, but i've always been intrigued by the football players helmet and/or face masks. So i guess ill start off. I've always been a fan of Dennis Dixon's Helmet and Facemask when he played for the Ducks. Mike Vicks helmet as a rookie on the Falcons was also pretty amazing. And lastly, DJ Shockley's helmet as a Dawg. Hope to see some replies and to keep this thread going!
  13. I am so happy with the response from my first NBA template series that I wanted to update it to better suit you guys and create a better template to show off the creativity and design on this site. So here's what we've got! Here's whats been updated: - updated Adidas mesh design to match actual uniform - added championship crest on back collar - organized illustrator files/layers for better access - added basic number/NOB font (link below) - added stripes - added side view for jersey - added front view for shorts Here are the links to download the templates/font: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/p252i2mir80g8/NBA_Uniform_Templates.ai I am excited to hear from you guys! I welcome all feedback about the templates. Let me know what you would want to see changed or perfected! Enjoy.
  14. Hello again everyone, welcome to my brand new series, the World American Football League! As you might have guessed, this concept is based around the world as a whole finally embracing American football, and playing it on a national scale. Each team represents one country, there are 52 teams spread across 6 conferences, with 8-10 teams each. None of the countries have mascot names (ie. "England Lions"), but each team has a logo that represents something about their country. This can be something like an animal, historical figure, symbol, etc. Each team will only have one logo, with so many teams I didn't want to force out shoddy secondary and tertiary logos that resemble other team's logos. As well as this, not many teams will have alternate jerseys. I think that's enough explanation, here is the WAFL league logo! The logo itself is meant to be very simple, able to be quickly swapped for one of the many team's colors. The center is the globe grid pattern, with a streaking football to represent the global spread of the sport itself. Around the globe is six stars, one for each conference. I used Conrad's Dribbler font (Shoutout to Conrad, nearly all my fonts I will use are his). I thought it was very clean and professional looking. Comments and Criticism are welcome as always! I don't want to ruin the surprise with the other conferences, but I will say the first I'm taking on is the WESTERN CONFERENCE. It consists of England, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland. I will be taking on England first, the uniforms have been done for a while but I'm having trouble with the logo so stay tuned! *WESTERN CONFERENCE COMPLETE*
  15. I always thought Wisconsin's football uniforms were somewhat boring. And I didn't like that they had uniforms so similar to division rival Nebraska. I liked the red helmets they had in 2013 and 2014 (Ex. one, ex. two) to change things up a bit but the uniforms still needed some work. When Under Armour took over and unveiled the their new uniforms last month I was pretty happy with what they did by keeping the traditional look but still making some interesting changes. I liked the "Forever Forward" theme of the new uniforms but I thought the changes were too subtle (Only having one very thin arrow on each stripe). So I kept with the "Forever Forward" theme and made some tweaks here and there. The most noticeable change I made was to the stripe. I made the stripe arrows thicker and added more arrows throughout the uniform (3 on helmet, 2 per sleeve, and 3 on each side of pants). It's hard to see but I put the "Forever Forward" logo on the helmet bumper. I kept the Badger Bold (modified Aachen) font for the numbers. I replaced the "W" logo on the chest with the wordmark and I removed the wordmark from the leg/thigh area. Lastly, I know the 3rd pants design is a bit out there for Wisconsin but I was just trying something different (I'm not necessarily a fan of it). Please give any c&c you have. If I get enough feedback I might start doing some other college teams too. Home uniform... Away uniform... Football field with new endzone wordmarks...
  16. Hello! I've been off these forums for a while, but now that I'm back I might as well contribute! You guys might have seen my old Wisconsin concept, if you have cool, if you haven't don't try to find it, it's awful and needs to be burned. Anyways Wisconsin just recently switched to Under Armour, and as a Badger fan I was really excited for that because Adidas sucked. So I was pumped for the uniform unveilings (football and basketball in particular) and was really impressed with what UA did with everything. Except for the football uniforms! They hardly changed anything, and my biggest pet peeve is that the "wave/motion W" just seems totally out of place. I also really like it as a logo, but it just doesn't fit with Wisconsin's "brand". So, I took it upon myself to create new, more outside of the box logo and uniforms, that could still fit into Wisconsin's brand. First I designed a very simple logo, I just took the W in Wisconsin's font and just added some serifs to both sides to give them the appearance of f's. I did this because it would work with their new "Forever Forward" mantra. (I know it also kind of looks like the Wonder Woman logo but I don't care.) Then I started on the actual uniforms, and that's when it got interesting, because I wanted something totally new for Wisconsin. In these I really took the new W and the Forever Forward slogan to heart. And there you have it! Really weird, almost throwback "new" UA uniforms done on a Nike template! If you read all my rambling thanks, and if you didn't cool. C&C is greatly appreciated!
  17. This was just something that's bothered me since Florida State went to the new uniforms, so I threw this together super quick. Just basically a merge of the best features of the past two uniforms with super minor tweaks i think would fix the entire thing:
  18. NFL has set up a new experimental league in Europe. Many of the major soccer clubs got in on the action and bought an NFL team... these are there uniforms! In this fictional and experimental league the NFL has started to test out the idea of ads on the uniforms as well as different uniform suppliers (if I can find the templates), as well as adding more colored uniforms for more color vs color matchups. PSG HomeAway Manchester City Home Away Barcelona Home Away ADDITIONS ROMA REAL MADRID BAYERN MUNICH MANCHESTER UNITED TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR WEST HAM UNITED INTER MILAN ARSENAL ATLETICO MADRID
  19. Playing around with the USA National Soccer Kit. I can't stand what Nike has done the last few design cycles. The best kit they ever did was the centennial design. It was simple, clean, and actually used our colors! I took the current redesigned logo and integrated it into a similar design to the centennial look. To distinguish us from everyone else I went with the striped socks to reflect "Old Glory". No neon color accents, no Popsicle stripes, and no black.
  20. Living in Colorado, almost everyone knows the Avalanche. But I have always loved their previous brand as the Quebec Nordiques. I am thinking of starting a new series, but I just wanted to get something out there. I have started using Inkscape, and I enjoy it! It is so much more flexible than paint. So, this is my first posted Inkscape concept. This concept utilizes more red in the uniform, to add some color to it. The yolk is also a new addition. The fleur-de-lis still appear around the waist, and are also the shoulder patches. A new stripe style appears around the uniform, and there is blue pants for both the home and the road, as well as a blue home helmet and a white road one.
  21. This is my first post to the forum. I have taken all of the teams current designs and colors to create what I believe the Color Rush Uniforms should look like next season. I created designs for every Thursday Night Game. I also followed the NFL's helmet policy where the teams cannot have more than one helmet.

  23. We're officially just one year away from MLS in Atlanta! I decided to post an idea for the soccer kit, or soccer shirt really, for Atlanta United FC. The concepts are based on the 2016 Adidas design being used in the MLS this season. Any constructive feedback is welcome.
  24. It's about time for my beloved Falcons to get a new look. And by new look I mean go back to when our logo and helmet was the best thing going in the NFL even if our team wasn't.
