  1. I personally think that some of the extinct hockey teams looked the best. The Whalers, Nordiques, Rockies, Jets, etc. had some of my favorite hockey designs ever, and instead now we get to feast our eyes on the Hurricanes and Avalanche. Sad. So, This is basically my attempt to rewrite history, if the new franchises continued the look of their formers, Starting out with the Whaler-Hurricanes. The whalers had one of the best logos in all of sports history, and awesome uniforms and color scheme to boot, which helps to make the Hurricanes design more unique. C&C appreciated, and although I have some more on tap, let me know what you'd like to see next! Thanks!
  2. Hartford Whalers Redesign

Here's another Hartford Whalers redesign, but this time with a Nike Swift template. I know it's generally frowned upon to go modern with a classic team, but I think the cut-off arm striping is a step forward. It's really a fairly subtle difference that combines the classic and modern aspects of design. Besides, It's a new idea that I wanted to try out. What are your thoughts?
  3. Hartford Whalers Concept Logo

Had this concept completed for a while but never added color to it until now due to other concepts I got into. Here's a Whaler to represent the Hartford Whalers. Please don't compare him to the Islanders Fisherman logo (which I happened to love by the way) Also look for the upside down whale tail in the logo on his hat as a nod to the original logo. What do you all think? Comments and critique wanted.
  4. I got a beautiful final years jersey of the Hartford Whalers from, and I spent the extra money getting it customized. Look what they did! They botched the font! I hope they'll take it back, and either correct it, or just send me a blank one. For that kind of money, they need to get the font right!
