I modernized the uniforms by getting rid of the shoulder/side stripes and replacing them with the triple stripes on the end of the sleeves... drabey2 Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Yeah, the front numbers are a bit big.The pin striping is WAY too dense.The blue alt should be "robin's egg blue", I think a shade or two lighter. DEFINITELY no blue jersey with the gray pants (shudder). Blue pants too or dump it altogether.Also, the Phils have never worn "alt" jerseys in the first place (and hopefully never will), though they used to wear the burgandy for BP.And if you're truly going to go throwback, the socks MUST be stirrups. The "negro league" look isn't awful, but it isn't MLB throwback. Good look otherwise.100% agreed, putting piping on a pinstriped jersey is very seldomly a good look.
