aeargle
I've always thought that Navy's logo with the N & star(s) was a bit boring, so this came to mind:Would love to hear your thoughts. Dribbble | Website
MrWonka
Seems a little too vertical for a primary. Maybe as a secondary mark it's pretty cool, I just don't see it as one they'd use on actual uniforms.
brunoSkochak
I just don't see it as one they'd use on actual uniforms.I do... Maybe it would look nice running down the shoulders, maybe inside a "thin yoke" or a stripe, with insignias for Freshmen, sophomore, etc on the right side of the chest ( Using UA's system ) ..... PS : Football uniforms, of course...( Can I use this logo in a concept, Aeargle ? )
jaker52
it would go gret in the shoulders and have a cool and extremely unique look but other then that I dont know what it could do MUNCHEN LOWEN (WAFA) GULF SHORES OSPREYS (IBL)

kewp80
I would have to agree it's too vertical. It's a clean and clever idea, but would have to agree it would be better as a secondary. I've always thought an update of the goat logo would be great. Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music!
Varsity Blue
I like this, it's a clever concept. You are forced to look at it closely to get the full impact. Good work.
Lee Noire
I'm with the others. It's a bit too vertical to be a primary, but it would be an awesome pants stripe or secondary.
aeargle
Yeah, I think I mislabeled it, more of a text element than an actual logo. On the side of the pants and/or shoulder would be a good fit. Possibly even back center of the helmet... Dribbble | Website
sparkychewbarky
Clever logo. I really like it.The 3rd one would look great on a dark t-shirt.It's got a nice epaulette feel to it, so it would be great on the shoulders of a football jersey.Nice. *The Battle of Seattle

GeauxColonels
I'm seeing a New York logo with an arrowhead in the center.Cool idea though.I really like the idea, but I think the boxed look of the "N" and "Y" isn't as prominent in the "A" and "V"
BrandMooreArt
its beautifully done and clearly reads as NAVY. i dont see any problem with it being "too vertical", it just depends on where it is intended to live. the anchor doesnt jump out right away but i see its there. id like to hear more about the concept though, are you using the shape of a battle ship for the A and V? why did you choose to do it this way? As far as the concept, after viewing your Midshipmen logo (seen here) - I felt that the anchor needed to be more prominent in their branding, as it's a major symbol for the Navy and included in the Marine logo. I was sketching out an anchor one day and saw the A & V creating it. I tend to have an eye for that type stuff, it's the execution that throws me off. (Another example of this - seeing that an eagle could create an 'S' in negative space before actually drawing it out) After seeing some of the feedback, I think i'm going to rework it a little and post the product here soon. it would go get in the shoulders and have a cool and extremely unique look [...] [...] On the side of the pants and/or shoulder would be a good fit. Here it is...
