I have a USB drive which holds every NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis title within, in addition to emulators to run all of those ROMs.

It cost me $0.  I run it all without issue on my computer.

I also have Nintendo 64 emulation and a 64 USB controller from Amazon that ran me about $15.  I also have dozens of ROMs for that virtual console.  Same for Playstation.

This thing is a scam.  Entirely and wholly.

The slightly longer wait was worth it. Sonic Mania is an absolute joy, and well and truly puts Sonic 4 to shame. My only gripe is with the unlockable abilities for Sonic only being usable on a non-save playthrough, which just seems like an odd choice considering how much thought has been put into the rest of the game. But to be honest I like the default drop dash ability enough to not use either of those anyway.

While there are plenty of old Zones in this game, it never felt as if any of them were being lazily recycled. They took the original level designs, made them bigger and better than before, and even borrowed elements from other Zones in earlier games. There are corkscrews from Sonic 2's Emerald Hill in Mania's Green Hill. Stardust Speedway Act 1 may remind you of Sonic 3's Marble Garden. And the new Studiopolis Zone is basically the Casino or Carnival Night of this game.

I definitely recommend it. Anyone who grew up with Sonic, or enjoys classic platformers in general, owes it to themselves to play this game.

Is the fact that Sega put Denuvo in Mania something to worry about or just PC players being salty over not being able to mod the game?

Today's the first I've heard of it. I've had no issues myself, but apparently it's been stopping people from playing offline and Sega themselves are looking for a way around this.

I finally got an NES Classic last month. I added a bunch more games to it. TBH, it kind of cheapens the experience, though I do prefer Mike Tyson's to Mr. Dream's Punch-Out, even though the change is negligible.

I never bothered modding the NES Classic, just because I felt like all of the games it came with were the games I needed.

If there's a similar process for the SNES Classic, though, I am jumping on that :censored:, as there are a lot of games that I wish the system had.

The Sonic Mania soundtrack is quite simply marvelous. I think everyone here will enjoy this High Quality Rip* of Stardust Speedway Act 1.

Anyone try Cuphead yet?

Yes, I've been playing it on Xbox One the past few days. It's hard as nails, but it's really fun.

The art direction of the game is a triumph, and I don't remember being as impressed visually by a game probably since COD: Modern Warfare. There's long been the promise of a cartoon you can play, and we're finally here.

I feel like the controls could be just a little more forgiving, but it's otherwise a really fun game.

I don't think I want to play Cuphead as much as I just want to watch other people play it.

Middle Earth shadow of war comes out tomorrow. I can't wait.

Shadow of Mordor was one of the few games I ever platinumed, so I'm pretty excited to see how it is.
