Sean F&F
Now that Riddell is no longer the official helmet of the NFL, their name doesn't appear on the front of the helmet. Before, if a player didn't have a Riddell helmet, it would be blank or have a logo on it. Now every team has to do this.I've seen both wordmarks and logos and I prefer the wordmark. I think the logo, when it's the same as the helmet logo, is just too much of the same thing. The Patriots have their main logo for their nose bumper.49ers tooColts have the wordmarkBrowns tooWhat do you guys prefer? https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder

tubby34
Word mark is perfect in my humble opinion. Logos look too clunky there

Sean F&F
Bengals use their main logo but it's not on the helmet so it's a different situation.I'd like the Patriots to use the NE logo for theirs. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
TShaw528
If the logo isn't on the helmet I think the logo works (The Browns couls use the B football logo on their bumper), otherwise I prefer the wordmark. If a team has a secondary logo I think that works too, otherwise I feel like it's just repetitive.Course, unless I'm forgetting a team, only the Bengals and Browns don't use a logo on their helmet. Germanshepherd
If fitting then give secondary logos a chance to shine. If not than wordmark that bad boy up. i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience
OnWis97
I like wordmark...it's long in nature and for most teams, fits the bumper better than a logo. Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse." Gothamite
It's a rectangular space - most logos aren't built for it. Wordmarks look better in almost all cases. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

andycumbee19
I'd prefer wordmark, but Denver's looks too scrunched up on the bumper the way it is now. They could have stretched it out a bit more, IMO.
CDixonDesign
I think it all depends on the team's ability to "fill out" the bumper. Teams with logos that aren't proportional in height/width may choose to go with the wordmark.
