Saw this on Reddit - the Denny's in New Zealand use a Kiwi in place of the apostrophe. Subtle, but pretty cool design.

I don't dislike it. The font has a bit of a playful tone to it, but that's to be expected from a diner perhaps.

Anyway, thought the kiwi was a nice subtle touch for the NZ locations.

Not sure what other American fast food chains located in other countries incorporate their own national imagery in the logo.

McDonald's Canada is one:

Anyone have some other examples?

Those are pretty awesome. Too bad Wendy's didn't keep that look, it's nice.

Arby's Canada used to use a maple leaf in the apostrophe. I remember joking during my two road trips through Western Canada ('06 and '08) that it was standard cliche procedure for fast food restaurants to make the maple leaf an apostrophe.

Free Arby's with a 12-pack, lol Canada

Upon checking arbys.ca to see if they still use a maple leaf in the new logo, it appears Arby's Canada still uses the short-lived 3D logo. Weird.
