Lions don't deserve number 8 man. Their record is skewed. The Packers and Bengals are both better.

My Power Rankings for Week 8.

1. Denver Broncos (clearly, the best team in the AFC. Plus, they went to the Super Bowl last year and it's looking like the road to the Super Bowl will go through them again.

2. Dallas Cowboys (the Cowboys are the surprise team of the NFL so far. Not even me and my fellow Cowboys fans could have predicted this. Their overall dominance this season and 6-1 record puts them as the NFC's best team)

3. Arizona Cardinals (they're the team no one is talking about. With one of the best defenses in the NFL and a consistent offense, they have an excellent shot at not just making the postseason but winning the division for the first time since 2009.)

4. San Diego Chargers (even though they lost last weekend, this San Diego team is still a damn good team. This Thursday is a huge game against the Broncos. The Chargers, with a win, can make a statement.)

5. Green Bay Packers (ever since that 1-2 start and Rodgers told Packer nation to R-E-L-A-X, he's backed it up. The Packers are 4-0 since then, Rodgers has been simply fantastic and he has the best QB rating in the last 4 weeks.)

6. Indianapolis Colts (was last week more of indication of how good the Colts are or how bad the Bengals have been in the last month? I'd say it's both. These Colts have the highest scoring offense in the NFL and their number pick, Mr. Luck is playing at a MVP level.)

7. Baltimore Ravens (the Ravens look ready to run away with the division. Flacco looks like he's back to playing at an elite level, couple that with a good running game led by Forsett and two very good starting WR, these Ravens are playing good football.)

8. New England Patriots (they have once again, taken control of the AFC East and have been playing excellent football since that debacle in Kansas City.)

9. Detroit Lions (the reason why I have them ranked so low, despite that they are actually on top of the NFC North, is that their offense is maddeningly inconsistent. Their defense is outstanding, led by their front four, and if their O can become top 10, this team will be scary good.)

10. Philadelphia Eagles (the Eagles have a ridiculous SEVEN return TD's this season. When accounting for those points scored by their defense and special teams, the Eagles offense is just averaging 22 PPG and I believe, in terms of offensive yardage, they are in the 10-15th range. Couple that with a defense that is in the 20's in nearly every meaningful defensive statistic, this team is an anomaly in terms of their record.)

Cellar-Dwellers:

32. Oakland Raiders

31. Jacksonville Jaguars

30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

29. NY Jets

28. Tennessee Titans.

Here are Mine:

1. Denver Broncos - I'm not going to put too much stock into that New England game, the Patriots are a much different team on the road. Look at the difference between the KC and Miami games, compared to the Bengals and Broncos games. They have the best QB in football, the best receiving corp in football, and a pretty good pass rush.

2. Arizona Cardinals

3. New England Patriots

4. Philadelphia Eagles

5. Indianapolis Colts

6. Dallas Cowboys

7. Seattle Seahawks

8. Detroit Lions

9. Green Bay Packers

10. Pittsburgh Steelers

Bottom 5:

32. Oakland Raiders

31. Tampa Bay Bucs

30. Jacksonville Jaguars

29. New York Jets

28. Tennessee Titans
