Now, it is where Pete Gillen becomes irrelevant as a coach and as a person who is on CBS Sports Network.I just looked at the schools that played in this tournament the last few years...this tournament used to have the likes of Duke and Kansas and Marquette. Now they have the likes of Mercer, UC Riverside, and Northeastern. What happened?All of these other tournament have popped up and they provide better competition. I'm sure you remember the days where it was just the Maui Invite and the Great Alaska Shootout.Now you have the events ran by ESPN (The Orlando Classic and the Wooden Legacy), the Battle 4 Atlantis, the MGM Grand Main Event, the Las Vegas Invite, and so on and so forth.
