JCRGraphix
I don't know how many teams I'll be able to get through before I get swamped with all of the other BS that takes up my time, but for now, I'm working on a complete redesign of the NFL. I decided to do it alphabetically, so obviously the Arizona Cardinals are up first. For their design, I decided to look back into their history a bit for inspiration. Their helmet has been essentially unchanged since 1960, so I didn't mess with that too much other than making the facemask white and enlarging the logo. For the jersey design, I looked back to the 1935 Chicago Cardinals uniforms which can be seen here thanks to the guys at Heritage Sports Art.I used this as a basis and expanded from there. I decided to use the rays from the Arizona flag on the sleeves, pants stripe, and numbers as an interesting design element. For a completely different third uniform just for big games and special occasions, I designed a blackout uniform featuring black matte/chrome helmets with bright chrome logos. JCRGraphix
Next up are the Atlanta Falcons. For this design, I used some ideas from their original 1966 uniforms which included gold as an accent color. I wanted a design that invoked the traditional smashmouth style of play you get in the South. For the home and away uniforms, red helmets based on their 1966 helmets are worn featuring their current logo with gold subbed in for grey. I tried to keep all striping as consistent as possible throughout the design.Next are their most commonly worn blackout alternates. There are also options for white-out and red-out games. The white helmet is based on this prototype helmet from 1974 found on MisterHabs NFL Prototype Page.
Buster
Cool template. Both are solid sets, although I'm not a fan of any team doing a black-out. That white Falcons alt is beauriful.

If you wanted to do a red helmet, go for it. Whatever you think looks best.I like this template because it's not married to a brand's fabric cuts. It's an empty slate to play with. cafepress.com/artbyrichards
Sean F&F
I like the rays on the sleeves of the Cardinals uniforms.I'd be curious to see another alternate jersey where you put the rays on the front, similar to the old Patriots jersey. https://fandfsports.wordpress.com/Hockey Uniform Templates (Gimp/Photoshop) http://seanff.deviantart.com/gallery/52790653/Devious-Folder
JCRGraphix
Wow!!! I forgot about that Pats jersey. Maybe once I've finished some more teams I'll come back and give that a try. Thanks for all the great feedback.Up next we have the Baltimore Ravens. For their look, I wanted something less cartoony and more fear-inducing. I put some rough-looking raven wings on the helmet in carbon-fiber, an element I used throughout the design. Why would the Ravens have any interest in carbon fiber you might ask? Carbon fiber is stronger than Steel... Nice little rivalry nod there, eh?
JCRGraphix
Up next we have the Bills. I decided to use the simple blue red white color scheme, but base my design around my favorite Bills logo, the one they never used. I recolored it using the more simple color scheme. martymcfry
I'm not sure what I think of the last two...the Bills and the Ravens don't look right. For the Ravens, it's too hard to tell the purple from the black, and for the Bills, I think the biggest problem is the helmet stripe. It looks too wide. JCRGraphix
Up next we have the Carolina Panthers. For this design, I really wanted to separate the Panthers' look from that of the Lions. I eliminated gray altogether to create a sleek, panther-like look. JCRGraphix
Next, we have the Chicago Bears. This one was difficult. I wanted to create a look that was new and modern, but stick with tradition as well. For the home and away uniforms, I messed with the striping a little. For the orange unis, I changed the numbers to blue so it would be an accurate throwback, and I added a new white uniform for special occasions/preseason play. michigan97
Beautiful. Love the helmets!! http://oi58.tinypic.com/34g9ez4.jpghttp://oi39.tinypic.com/6f9yyh.jpghttp://oi43.tinypic.com/v4qa03.jpg
LAWeaver
Arizona and Atlanta look nice, as does Carolina. Buffalo is actually pretty nice.Baltimore looks bad though, to be honest. Looks like you mashed them up with the Bucs, Jags, and Eagles. I'd take the gradient off the helmet and uniform (it looks a lot like Jacksonville's gradient... big no-no). Not sure what I can do in the way of offering what to do instead, but that look is not working.I think the white helmet and logo-on-stripes for the Bears is a bit much. the logo over the stripes clutters an otherwise decent look while the white helmet is unnecessary. The pant stripes would look miles better if they were complete and not tapered as well. @loganaweaver - Twitter / @loganaweaver - Instagram / Nike Vapor Untouchable Football Template / Logan's Logos
michigan97
The current panthers are classics, but those would be great updates http://oi58.tinypic.com/34g9ez4.jpghttp://oi39.tinypic.com/6f9yyh.jpghttp://oi43.tinypic.com/v4qa03.jpg

JCRGraphix
Thanks again for all the feedback. That is definitely the best part about this forum!Up next we have the Cincinnati Bengals. For this design, I looked at some photos of real tigers and changed the coloring a but to reflect that (fading to white). I also added a black and white (Siberian I guess) alternate for special events.
JCRGraphix
Up next are the Cleveland Browns. For this design, I didn't want to get too out of the box. I took inspiration from their really cool alternate logo which I promoted to their primary here.
JCRGraphix
Up next are the Dallas Cowboys. For this design, I wanted to play up the cowboy feel as well as having a matching color scheme. I also included a throwback and an all gray set. JCRGraphix
Up next are the Broncos. They have had a modern look for a while, so I decided to go even more modern, drawing inspiration from Boise State. The brown and gold uniforms are a nod to their original uniforms from 1960. Pretty much any time I have the opportunity to work with brown and gold, I take it. The numbers on the helmets are a throwback to their 1960 uniforms as well. JCRGraphix
Up next are the Detroit Lions. I didn't change too much except adding waist stripes inspired by the invasion stripes painted on bombers in WWII. Detroit was still a major manufacturing hub at that time. I brought back the fan-favorite black jersey and added a Portsmouth Spartans throwback for one special event.
JCRGraphix
Up next are the Green Bay Packers. This design is inspired by decades of tradition. It draws from different periods in the team's past, specifically the Lambeau-era yokes and gold helmets, the Lombardi-era green with white numbers, and an all-gold alternate from the early 1950s.
