Results from Atlanta:

1. Johnson

2. Harvick

3. Earnhardt Jr.

4. Logano

5. Kenseth

6. Truex Jr.

7. Allmendinger

8. Moffitt

9. Keselowski

10. Newman

Johnson & Harvick just had the dominant cars the whole race but you couldn't catch Jimmie, the only one that could was Harvick but even he couldn't keep up. Kenseth did a heck of a job too, coming back from a lap down & ended up in the top 5. Look at AJ & Brett Moffitt doing as well as they did. Next up is Las Vegas.

Johnson just pulled away huge at the end there. I wish we could have had a more competitive finish, but it is what it is.

Tough start to the year for Gordon. Brett Moffitt has earned more points than him thus far. Hopefully Things Turn around at Vegas. Jimmie's win somewhat soothed the pain though

The Drive for Seven is still alive for Mr. Six-Pack. Jimmie Johnson takes the checkereds at Atlanta.

Was it ever not alive? :P

But yeah, it looks like even with the new rules package, the Hendrick guys, Penske guys, and Harvick aren't letting their 2014 momentum cool off any time soon. I know, I know, making statements like that 2 races in, but that's how it's been so far

Brett Moffitt turned a lot of heads last week following his 8th-place finish, including Front Row Motorsports. FRM announced this morning that Moffitt will drive the #34 for the next three races.

So... Kurt Busch is back in the news...

http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/local/2015/03/05/nascars-busch-charged/24428443/

NASCAR's Kurt Busch will not be charged by the Delaware Attorney General's office.

"After a thorough consideration of all of the available information about the case, it is determined that the admissible evidence and available witnesses would likely be insufficient to meet the burden of establishing beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Busch committed a crime during the Sept. 26 incident," Delaware Attorney General spokesman Carl Kanefsky said in an email. "Likelihood of meeting that high burden of proof is the standard for prosecutors in bringing a case. For this reason, the Department of Justice will not pursue criminal charges in this case."

Harvick basically was schooling everyone is Vegas. He was that good today, nice runs by Truex, Newman & Allmendinger today. A rough day for contenders like Jimmie & Carl. Next up is Phoenix.

Jimmie had a bad day today. He brought out 2 consecutive cautions.

Great day for Truex and Allmendinger as you said. 6th place is a whale of finish for AJ who said his team needed to preform better on the intermediate tracks; he's got back-to-back Top 10s on intermediates.

BREAKING NEWS - Kurt Busch has been reinstated by NASCAR, effective immediately, and will be able really run for the Chase if he qualifies for it.

Now that we know he can come back, the next question is how.

EDIT: That question has been answered, as Chevrolet has lifted their suspension involving Kurt Busch, meaning that he should be back in the 41 for Stewart-Haas this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.

Chevrolet would go on to state that they will "Continue to monitor the situation".

Kurt is also on indefinite probation by NASCAR, meaning that his next slip-up of, well, any kind, could end his career once and for all.
