BRice16
How many people, outside of this forum, honestly care what color combos a team is going to wear? Do you think those posts get a lot of action? As someone manages social media accounts for a Division 1 athletics program, I can tell you that uniform posts in all sports are among the most popular we make. Before football games, close-up pictures of the uniforms get more social media impressions (favorites, retweets, shares, likes, etc) than starting lineups or action photos. It's remarkable. I realize that you maybe can't reveal which team you work for, but I'd be interested to know if it's a school historically known for uniform madness. For example, I can see the fanbases of Oregon or Maryland being much more feverish about uniforms than a school like Penn State.Tennessee. And it's not just football, it's all sports. Fans love uniform stuff.

FiddySicks
It wasn't as noticeable on the orange set they wore last week, but that Miami road set is just BRUTAL. Dynasty
What is it with Adidas in using those cut-up stripes for Miami and UCLA?BTW those FAU helmets caught my attention. I'm not really a fan of them, but they're still pretty interesting.
DustDevil61
What is it with Adidas in using those cut-up stripes for Miami and UCLA?How else are they going to get duct tape on the pants without any crinkling? walkerws
I think if adidas lost the hloss/foil looks it'd be better received. The splices in my opinion, are ok for Miami but UCLA shouldn't have gone as backwards as they did this season
razorback447
What is on the other side of the FAU helmet. That doesn't look like the state of Florida in the first or second pic.

jgiff17
Atlantic used to look great now they are just another small school trying anything to get a couple good recruits. Miami...you have a history of excellence and do not have to give into this kind of destruction of your image. If the duct tape was replaced with real material, the stripes were actually complete and the NOB was a readable font the units would look good. They have enough alumni that I'm sure wouldn't mind speaking their mind so hopefully someone gets in the phone and tells Adidas and the powers that be at Miami to burn these after the season and get a real uniform. 4_tattoos
Every look FAU has has since they've been with Adidas has been crap. Those Nike uniforms they wore under Schnellenburger were great. Hotter Than July > Thriller
rmackman
FAU has certainly been flying through different looks the last three seasons. It seems they have a different tweak here or there for every other game. While their second generation look will always be my favorite (below), I think this style they broke out today could be an excellent long-term alternate option. Just get rid of the silver/chrome numbers. It was hard for some of us fans to see what number was what from the stands because the numbers shine too much. "Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be eaten. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running." - Unknown | Check out my articles on jerseys at Bacon Sports
AndrewMLind
I'm not a traditionalist by any means, but FAU and WKU were two schools that used to look great and look absolutely terrible now.

But they need to be straight, complete stripes. The slashes look silly.
WSU151
Watching the replay of Miami/FAU...Miami's unis are terrible. The all-foil everything, the stretched out names, logos (the stretched out U is just terrible), the double-outline on the numbers, the number font...adidas really f'ed these uniforms up. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
