hey I'm not a bronie. Jimmy is doing the backstories and set 99% of the decisions on cities and team names, and I do the Uniforms and Logos. (Mostly from scratch, Griffons primary is the only one I wouldn't consider from scratch.)

My apologies, I actually just realized this was not a solo project. Besides that, you guys are doing an amazing job! Pittsburgh next please!

And Jimmy- sorry on behalf of the internet.

It's fine. Also, you're getting a team in Richmond soon. *wink*

To be completely honest Harper, you should have started this thread. This is a concepts section and I would suppose the creator of the concepts should be the one posting the concepts. That being said, I care more about the jerseys than the actual backstory behind them. I had no idea you made these jerseys until you said so (since it was never stated before that). Take this as you will, but I think you should start posting these concepts with Jimmy's backstories. Great work btw

Love every one of these so far. I really like Virginia's colors. Bold! Can't say I've seen that combo anywhere before.

And while I love a good alternate league history as much as the next guy, I have to agree that the earlier stuff was a bit much to read. Having made my own custom leagues, I know how exciting it can be to know that these teams have such rich histories... but unless you're the person that 'lived' through those seasons, all the detail is just text and numbers, at least in this forum setting. What I would suggest is to do something like the NCFA league and their yearbook.

http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/99775-2014-ncfa-yearbook-release/?hl=yearbook

I'm in no way involved with this, don't know any of the people or the real-world history of this league, but I read this yearbook cover to cover every year. In something like this venue, it IS possible for a total stranger to immerse themselves in a fictional league history. I'd love to see you combine what you're doing with something similar to the current WHA and defunct NHL teams threads where we see the era-by-era history and evolution of the jerseys.

In any case, please keep these designs coming!

I like it but when I think richmond, I think red and navy or red and grey- teal and orange just reminds me of the Miami Dolphins

It's kind of scarlet or red-orange. I was thinking just *red*. Like, red red.
