Roger Clemente Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 Seeing as how they used the shoulder and collar of the Ducks jerseys, why didn't they just base the rest of their jersey on the Ducks current jerseys? The locations of the Ducks's sleeve and torso stripping kinda slighty resembles Calgary's striping from afar anyways, so just use the Ducks striping and replace all gold with baby blue. I hope there's a 3rd jersey in either light blue or orange. A shame.I'd say it doesn't "resemble" Calgary's striping; it is Calgary's striping.I was saying the Ducks current jerseys' striping, in where is has huge cuffs with a small cluster of stripes and a repeating pattern on the sides of the torso, is kind of similar to Calgary's in that regard, which is why it made me wonder why the Gulls used Calgary's striping specifically and not Anaheim's. They look better in reality compared with the video game leaks we've seen previously. Also glad they're not simply a recolored version of the Ducks. Glad they did their own thing.
