sportsfan0518
This was already posted on the website, but the field for Super Bowl XLIX was spotted yesterday. Here are some photos of it:Two things really stand out for me. The sidelines are multicolored and have a unique triangle pattern that looks really good. Yet, something that does not look good is the Patriots endzone. I understand that the Wordmark logo has the Patirots Primary logo in it, but it leaves an annoying blank navy spot on the far right. I don't think it will grow on me in time for Super Bowl Sunday. OffCenteredScoreboard
i would rather they put elvis there twice than leave it empty. hell they should put pat the patriot there instead of leaving it empty. maybe a picture of a deflated football would be better though. zigbazah
Cannot understand how someone gave the ok to that Pats endzone.
Camden Crazy
They need to go back to the game logo at midfield and team helmets at the 35.
Lee Noire
Are both endzones blue? That's unfortunate.
OffCenteredScoreboard
is it too late to have the seahawks endzones be neon green?
Mr. Krabs
Doesn't the orange and purple decoration remind you of the Phoenix Suns?

Mac the Knife
A better way to have designed the field in light of the Pat's wordmark logo might have been to drop the AFC/NFC logos from the end zones, placing them where those God-awful SB logos are, and removing the Seahawk logo from their end zone (or, alternately, somehow putting it under the wordmark, in similar fashion to the Pats). I wonder how that might've turned out.
Still MIGHTY
Pretty sure they just took both teams' regular home end zones and put their respective conference logos on them.People combining about the Pats redzone, that's the one they use in Foxborough. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
ShlyKBMT
Or just do it like they did on Madden. No Elvis under the wordmark. Put it where it normally goes for Super Bowls.
WSU151
Or just do it like they did on Madden. No Elvis under the wordmark. Put it where it normally goes for Super Bowls.Though Madden screwed it up in '15. Pats wordmark was blue in the game when it should be white...just like it was last year in Gillette's endzones. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
fouhy12
The endzone they have for the Pats in the Super Bowl is exactly how it should be. It has the logo-less wordmark and the logo in the corner.Or just do it like they did on Madden. No Elvis under the wordmark. Bossman1983
I would rather see the pats logo next to the word patriots instead of under it
ShlyKBMT
True they did screw it up on their home stadium, but it looked good when playing in the Super Bowl. Better than what they did in real life.
RayFinkle
Love the natural grass. Hate games played on that field turf stuff, where the painted endzones/logos always look washed out by kickoff. The big NFL shield looks good, the SB logos look good too.Endzones are awful. BLUE BLUE EVERYWHERE.
dgthree
I could be seeing things, but the Patriots endzone looks more royal than it does navy.
RayFinkle
I could be seeing things, but the Patriots endzone looks more royal than it does navy.Yeah agree. Does it match their dark blue pants? Or it is trying to match their blue jerseys, which they aren't even wearing?? LOLNFL probably just bought one color of blue for both endzones. haha
