I'm heavily leaning on it being rugby union because of what Americans refer to as "rugby" is most likely union, and also the roman numeral for 15 appears on the website. The only thing throwing me off is that the word "League" appears at the end of the title. (I hope someone else understands what I just typed.)Anyways, I hope there is a team in Florida. Too much rent in those stadiums. Raymond James is $150K for an event like that as the A11FL signed before they went away a little over a year ago. Sguse1 Posted February 28, 2015 Share Posted February 28, 2015 I have attended the combine for this league and have a bit of knowledge about what's going on with it. I know they plan on having 6-8 teams to start and with the league being based out of Minneapolis there is a good chance a franchise will be located there. I know New York, Boston, Houston are also being considered. They have been trying to get former NFL players to crossover as their talent pool. They failed in 2013, spent two years getting "interest free loans" in the form of combine registration fees and still cannot meet their own timetable.Sevens matter little as well, just act Mike Keller of USFL/XFL/A11FL failures, err fame. PacificCoastRL Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 I know what you're saying. I have been watching the NRL for years now. Rugby league is a better game than rugby union. Faster-paced, easier to understand - IMO just a better product. I urge all of you to check out rugby league on youtube, especially the National Rugby League from Australia/New Zealand. I prefer the NRL to the National Football League. All other codes of football are played at a snail's pace compared to rugby league.
