MLB hats that would benefit from different colored bill

For instance, I think the Angels on-field hat would look better with a navy bill, like the BP hat has.

Ewwwww no, definitely not. My general rule of thumb is that if the bill color is going to be different, it has to be a lighter color. If anything, they should use a navy crown and a red bill.

After running through every team and all their hats, the only team that came to mind that I think would benefit from a different colored bill is the Rays (powder blue). They have such a stagnant and boring set and they really don't emphasize that powder blue color enough.

I also think the Rangers may benefit by having a red bill on the blue cap for the road, but it wouldn't add a ton of wow to it.

Finally, and this one is a bit out there, I wouldn't mind if the White Sox added a grey bill to their road caps, or even a grey grown and black bill. But that's just my imagination running a bit wild.

Seeing as the Angels have pretty much dropped all navy blue from their set, I can't see them benefitting from a navy bill. I also can't see the Brewers pulling off a gold bill unless it strictly went with the gold jerseys that they hardly ever wear. No gray on the white sox, either. Tampa could definitely use a baby blue bill, especially on the home whites and road grays. Arizona may not look too bad with a different colored bill on the brick red or the black. Miami should go with a black bill on the orange hat, but as horrible as their branding is, that may not even help. Cleveland could also alternate their bill colors both ways with the new "C" hats.

This hat would look a lot better with a red bill.

The winner, hands-down.

The Reds would benefit from not using a different colored bill on their road hat.

The first one that came to my mind, but admittedly not as dire a need for change as the Braves. One of the worst MLB cap downgrades ever. What, exactly, were they thinking?

I've wanted the Tigers to add an orange bill to their home cap for years. (Best I could find...)

However with the Astros, Giants, Mets, and Marlins all adding orange-billed caps in the last few years, it may be seen as trend hopping. But I thought of it before all that :P and it would really liven up their classic dull home look.

Money? This is as obvious as pointing us the fact that they already have a cap with a red bill...

I always thought this was a solid road cap. I am not sure why the Cubs dumped it.

Navy and red look great, royal and red don't. I think there needs to be a stark contrast between crown and bill to work.

I always felt that after the phillies introduced their alternate hat the cubs may have felt it was too similar so hey just got rid of theirs?

I'm kind of ambivalent on this, as I think the Cubs look okay on the road with or without the red bills. If I had to pick, I would probably vote for red bills, if anything, just for the sake of variety. BUT, I don't see how this is an issue of contrast. I think think there is enough contrast between red and royal. If anything, I would say that red and royal "pops" better than red and drab, overused navy.

I thought the main reason the Cubs turned away from this look was to return to clearly being a "blue" team . It is kind of silly to all of a sudden start to emphasize your red more when arguably the two historically best teams in your division mainly rock red.
