Teams that have looked terrible for their entire history

  • Rockies: They've stuck to one general look, but black and purple is hard to pull off. (and the "CR" hat logo is awful)
  • Ravens: See "Rockies." (and the B on the two different helmet logos is awful)
  • Hurricanes (if you don't count the Whalers years).
  • Carolina Panthers.

Those teams have all had roughly the same look for their entire existence. For teams that have never looked good (to me) with some overhauls, the best I could do are:

  • Diamondbacks: I never liked their original look and I hate the "D-Backs" script they have now (and really don't love the current look anyway)
  • Capitals: And this is a stretch. I like their original uniform but I acknowledge that the script logo was rough. Similarly, the current one is not great eeither. But I like their original look (for sentimental reasons). And I never liked the blue/black look at all.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

Sharks, Senators, Blue Jackets

I disagree about the Jackets, pretty good logos since 07, and one of the better Alts.

Umm, I've never liked the Flames look.

Funny, I disagree about the other ones too.

The Sharks had a classic look when they came into the league, and had a good look after the edge disaster IMO. They'd look good now if they bothered with hemstripes.

The Sens had extremely good sweaters up until 2007 as well. Their original sweater was great made better by the addition of white, the white sweater they wore up until 2007 was one of my favourite in the league, the laurel leaf alternate was great, I thought the 'swoosh' sweater really fit the team and looked good, and their current heritage uniforms are among the best alternates, if not all sweaters, in the league. Really, the only time I haven't liked the Sens' look is with their current home/road combo after the edge takeover (and I wouldn't even dislike it that much if it wasn't a lazy click-and-fill job), and the SNES jersey.

Angels. Not sorry.

Not that they've had the worst looks ever (Besides that Disney set), it's just that none of their looks have ever stood out as "great" or even "pretty good." When they're not draped in red, they look like "Red Sox West." (Look at their old fonts and colors and tell me otherwise)

I'll be that guy: the San Diego Padres.

While I do personally wish to see them back in brown someday, not one of their myriad of looks over their existence has ever looked particularly remarkable to me.

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

I really wouldn't mind at all if the Angels finally just ditched the blue and went to red and gold instead, with some silver thrown in as well.
