LEWJ
New: Old: I discovered the change here: http://adage.com/article/cmo-strategy/coors-light-miller-lite-targets-biculturals/297534/And here: http://www.chicagobusiness.com/article/20150313/NEWS07/150319894/millercoors-plans-for-2015-new-look-for-coors-lite-bicultural-push-for-miller-liteTheir twitter reflects the change as well.https://twitter.com/coorslightI didn't see this posted elsewhere. Improvement, in my opinion. Less gaudy, much cleaner.EDIT: Another, featuring team-specific labels:http://en.paperblog.com/coors-light-baltimore-orioles-seattle-mariners-tampa-bay-rays-1130165/ | BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANS |
vmd9
The transparency of "Coors" is bothering me and seems unnecessary.
buckeye
Upgrade. I always thought the last look was a bit cluttered, just like Miller Lite's was. I'm glad both went with the more classy clean looks.
Sport
HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF MY BEER IS COLD IF THE LABEL DOESN'T TELL ME???!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!Here's the old label for reference.
LEWJ
HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF MY BEER IS COLD IF THE LABEL DOESN'T TELL ME???!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!Here's the old label for reference. From the AdAge article above:For Coors Light, the red Coors script looks similar, although "Light" uses a slimmer font and is black rather than white. The biggest change, according to an image shown to Ad Age, is that the front of the bottles no longer tout "2-stage cold activation" that refers to mountain images on the bottle turning blue when the brew reaches a certain cold temperature. However, the mountains will still turn blue when the beer is cold, a spokesman said. And secondary packaging will plug the beer as "cold lagered," "cold-filtered" and "cold packaged" beer. After you posted that comment, I checked the article to see if it was mentioned. Good choice keeping that feature.Coors still tastes like bubbly piss, to me. lol | BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANS |

1clkgtramg
I'm really enjoying how many companies are opting for a more simplistic and cleaner look US and World License Plate Redesign - Fixing the Elite Ice Hockey League - NHL to Soccer Crossover - European Hockey League Twitter

BrandMooreArt
Absolutely gorgeous modern design. Ill bet one of the reasons they did all those heavy strokes and shadows was to separate the type from the background. But in simplifying everything, it actually reads much clearer and is a classic look. I love it GRAPHIC ARTIST BEHANCE / MEDIUM / DRIBBBLE
Morgan33
The neck label is downgrade. I hate how the "coors" script is cut off by the mountain outline.
CS85
I like it. Stripped down. Plus I kinda like Coors Light, so sue me. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. deezy
I was involved in the marketed testing on this logo. When I saw it, it was much flatter and the mountains weren't as big of of part. The label on the top was not there either. I didn't like it a whole lot then, but this is an upgrade over what I saw (maybe in late October?). goforbroke
not sure i like this look -- to me it looks like a diet cola marketed toward women ... while i usually really prefer clean lines over bevels and drop shadows I tihnk on this I like the old way better.. it was bold and matched their marketing. To me the new look is visually cleaner but it comes off as soft. Thing the font needs to be bolder and not transparent
